Read it again. If you still don’t understand, try having an adult read it to you verrrrry slowwwwly.

I will respectfully disagree with you, too. The risk of playing football had absolutely nothing to do with Hamlin going into cardiac arrest. He could have been playing checkers at that moment and it would have happened. Buffalo managed to get to the playoffs after the Hamlin incident, the shooting and Kim Pegula’s medical episode. How am I to believe that they just happened to hit their breaking point right before the Cincinnati game started? It’s a silly notion to me.

Drive up to Albany. McGeary’s is a Bills bar. Decent wings and other food.

I will respectfully disagree with you. These guys (all NFL players, owners and coaches - not just in Buffalo) care about one thing … money. They’re all just fine with sharing the field with killers, woman beaters, child abusers, drug dealers … but somehow, I’m supposed to believe that things like health episodes and mass shootings somehow reach their hearts? I do not and will not buy into that. They are convenient excuses made FOR them by fans who think they actually give a crap about anything other than money. They don’t.

Your whataboutism game is cute. Ask yourself .. was this before or after the Cincinnati game? After you answer yourself, ask yourself, is a picture of this drop really relevant? After you answer yourself again, ask yourself, could I probably do better? Then tell yourself, yes … yes I could. Then … try.

I didn’t single anyone out, which was abundantly clear to anyone talk g the time to read what I wrote. I am also not saying that anyone is to blame for his behavior. I am simply saying that he didn’t just take up one day and say “I’m unhappy for no reason at all, so I’m gonna be a dick.”

All 4 AFC East teams are in varying states of internal turmoil.

As I’m sure you know, it’s difficult for any WR to have an impact when he does t have a QB to throw the ball to him. Which he did not have that day from the first play of the game. I will reiterate … it was time for Diggs to go. His artisans behavior became problematic. I am simply stating that he didn’t develop that attitude or become disgruntled out of thin air and there were others at fault - players and coaches.
-
Again … not disagreeing one bit. I will say, however, that I think watching Josh and Co. quit was what prompted Diggs’ attitude problem. I’m not justifying his behavior and I was happy to see him go.
-
I’m not going to disagree with this but I will point out that Diggs was pretty much the only player on the entire team (led by JA) who didn’t quit against the Bengals in the playoffs.

I know nothing about Ray Guy and his impact on games. I can say this with certainty: there is not one Bills game - ever - after which I said, “Man … if it wasn’t for Tasker, we never would have won that game.” That, to me, is why he’s not even close to deserving a spot in Canton.

I meant this topic, in general … not this thread.

I cannot wait till this ridiculous topic is put to bed. He’s not a Hall of Famer.

O'Cyrus Torrence.....He just hasn't taken that next step...

From this point forward, we shall call him “brisket.” -
I hope we need his garbage time contributions. It will mean we’re winning big. This guy has been toast since we signed him.

Took way too long. I realize this league is chock full of scum. Getting rid of every thug would leave us with the equivalent of a JUCO League. But at least get rid of the domestic abusers. Should be zero tolerance.

Eff OJ. I hope he’s rotting in hell right now.

The Bills beat the Jags because… (superstition reasons only)
Gugny replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
My quest to be less-stitious continues with fantastic results. Once again, I skipped my normal, years-long game day rituals. Most specifically, not going to the grocery store before the game. However, I may have begun a new night game superstition without trying or knowing it. For both night games this season, chicken tenders and waffle fries were on the menu. I’m okay with rolling with this one, since there are only 3 more night games scheduled for the regular season. -
When my grandfather passed, his immediate family decided to have his cat euthanized so they could be buried together.

Have you ever quit following a sports team?
Gugny replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in Off the Wall
When it was rumored that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were going to buy the Mets, I was prepared to Jim ship. I’ve been a Mets fan since 1983 and I’ve endured A LOT (many have endured much more, for far longer). But I had mind made up - if the most prolific cheater in MLB history and his skank wife, or whatever she was (she’s ***** someone different every 6 months) bought the Mets, I would become a Red Sox fan until they were out of the fold. But in never happened, so I’m still rooting for the Metropolitans. -
You have no idea how over the top this is. Seriously.

Six years ago, I shared my house with my wife, my son, three cats and a dog. Wife left me 5 years ago. Dog died shortly thereafter. One cat passed away three months ago … a few weeks after my son moved out. Another passed last week. So now it’s just me and one cat. Her name is Lazy. She’s 14. Since the last cat passed, Lazy has been clingy and noisy. I can’t watch Jeopardy. I can’t enjoy Mets games. I might lock her downstairs tomorrow night so I can enjoy the Bills game. I feel like I’m down to two choices: 1. Get another cat to keep Lazy company 2. Bring Lazy to the vet to have her euthanized. I’m on a fixed income, so I’m leaning (heavily) toward euthanasia. I’ve been saddled with these animals for the last 20+ years. I get another kitten now and I’m stuck until I ***** retire. Just throwing it out there to see what you guys would do. I love Lazy, but I think I’ve paid my dues. Thanks and Go Bills!
