No. The defense played out of their minds with turnovers and they got a TON of help from other teams, even before Cincinnati ended the drought for us. Tyrod Taylor ended the drought like Trent Dilfer won the Super Bowl for the Ravens. He sucked.
-
He was not a key piece in breaking the drought. And his "performance" in the playoffs proved that. He was horrible and the Bills won games despite him; not because of him.

Had they drafted him after they knew about the incident/before the lawsuit, I would agree with you. But they didn't. They learned about it in July and let it play out in the most responsible way possible. And once the news came out about the lawsuit, they moved as swiftly and properly as anyone could hope for.

I think preseason games are more useful. Hell, a two-legged stool is more useful than the Pro Bowl. But I just don't think preseason games are necessary. If they eliminate them across the board, every team has the same amount of rust to get through ... and every team has the same limitation with regard to finalizing their rosters based solely upon practices, etc.

I don’t think it was illegal. But it’s a goddamn meaningless game and in that context, I consider it unnecessary AND dirty.

A few of you may know how I feel about Tyrod Taylor. One thing I’ll give the guy is that he’s not a quitter. I feel bad for him today and I hope his injury isn’t serious. I’ll be happy if/when the NFL does away with preseason games.

He'll be out of work for like five minutes.

Pretty sure that's Steven Tyler.

New York Yankees 2022....Aaron Judge sets AL record with HR #62
Gugny replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in Off the Wall
All in all, two very good baseball games. Quality pitching, defense and some nice clutch hitting by the Yankees. Yankees pitchers really stepped up when they needed to. They got plenty of key outs against quality batters with RISP. I was a little confused by the Mets' batting approach in the first game. The name of their game is getting pitch counts high out of the gate. They were inexplicably aggressive in the first game. They got back to their patient approach last night and it looked like it was goin to be effective. But they just couldn't get the timely hits. Must have felt good for Judge to launch that bomb off of Scherzer. In the first series, Scherzer made Judge look like a child and I'm sure Judge was looking for revenge. He sure got it. He is having an amazing year and what could end up being an historical year. I am pulling for him to get to 62. -
No. My son and I wear the same size/style underwear. He gets the Hanes, I get the Fruit of the Loom. It's the only way we can differentiate.

Pic or it never happened.

It's too bad Colin has never interviewed someone whose blood content was more steroids than plasma.

Well, I can guess where Matt Haack might be going...

Never good to hear news like this, no matter who the player or which team he plays for. ** Except, of course, Julian Edelman. F*ck him. -

That poor dude. A ruptured achilles HAS to be one of the most painful injuries on can experience. -
