The 2025 Metropolitans remind me of the JP Allen-era Bills. Gonna score a lot of points ... but when the post season comes, other teams are probably gonna score more. I expect them to win over 90 games, enter the postseason as a Wild Card team and then ... who knows? It's all about who's healthy and who's hot and ain't no way to tell that as we sit here in February. Unless they're decimated with injuries, I do expect them to be a serious contender to get to the World Series. If they do get there, I hope they face the NY Strikeouts and their golden boy, Lurch .. the most anti-clutch player in MLB history. #LFGM

Pete will definitely end up losing out by not taking the 7-year deal. I am hopeful that he has a career year/gets his ring in 2025 and the rest of his career is gravy as a DH on one of the Florida teams.
