  1. Yep. I've had good luck on there and the price you see is the price you pay.
  2. Jets are playing GB, Denver and NE in the next three weeks. Give them a chance to sh*t the bed and for ticket prices to come down. Right now, the cheapest ticket on TickPick is $109. That's too much for me to sit in the cold around some of the worst fans in football. $50?? Then I'd consider it. I'm waiting it out.
  3. I honestly don't think he should be arrested and that any punishments should come from the NFL (and perhaps his own team). He effed up. But I don't think he effed up to the point where it should result in a criminal record.
  4. Yep.
  5. Assault in the Third Degree A person is guilty of assault in the third degree if he: attempts to physically injure another person or recklessly causes physical injury to another negligently causes bodily injury to another with a deadly weapon purposely threatens another person, causing that person to feel afraid that he is about to suffer serious physical injury recklessly engages in conduct that creates a grave risk of death or serious physical injury to another person intentionally engages in physical contact with another that the victim finds offensive or provocative, with knowledge that the victim will find it offensive or provocative, or knowingly engages in offensive or provocative contact with an incapacitated person. (Mo. Ann. Stat. § 565.070.) What Constitutes "Recklessness?" A reckless act is one that is committed, not necessarily with intent to harm another, but without regard for the outcome. Pushing someone out of the way in a crowd so that you can get through, without intending to injure the person, could be an assault if the person falls and is injured. (Mo. Ann. Stat. § 562.016.) https://www.criminaldefenselawyer.com/resources/misdemeanor-assault-missouri.htm
  6. They're two totally different kinds of posts (yours and Shaw's). Nothing against Shaw, but I prefer yours, personally. Please don't stop.
  7. I remember when you did thoughts about the game in no particular order.
  8. It was 100% incomplete. He juggled the ball with one foot in bounds. By the time he got control, the second foot came down a yard out of bounds.
  9. I think keeping Diaz should be a priority. Definitely a priority over keeping deGrom. I don't trust that deGrom will ever be available for "most" of any season. The best ability is availability. This season hinged on the health of Scherzer and deGrom and neither stayed healthy. Huge kudos to Showalter, Walker, Bassitt and Carrasco for keeping the Mets in first place for a huge chunk of the season without having the two "aces," on any consistent basis. I think overpaying deGrom would be a mistake. Period. McCann is a bum. We are all in agreement, there. Not calling up Alvarez sooner was a costly mistake. He absolutely should be handed the number one C spot, without hesitation. I am confident that Eppler and Cohen will make good, positive moves/non-moves in the offseason and I am excited for 2023.
  10. That sweep broke my heart. One series at a time. Just gotta take two from San Diego and then move onto the Doyers.
  11. Words cannot describe how badly I want the Mets to win this weekend.
  12. Hi, Virg. I've never been big on gambling, other than participating in pools, buying squares and crap like that. Earlier this year, I decided to download the FanDuel app. My plan was to open my account with $100 and put it all on the Mets AND Bills winning it all. But I didn't do that and, instead, started making bets on Mets games. When the mood struck, I'd look at the various parlays for that night's Mets game and plunk $10 down. Haven't won one, yet. I'm down to $20 now after six months. It's fun. I haven't found it to be addictive in the least, but again, I'm not a gambler, per se. But I can't help but feel horrible for those who do have gambling addictions and may be trying to stop. Because it is just too damn easy with these apps.
  13. Well, we're four pages in. I think it's safe to say that words, indeed, CAN describe how badly Joe wants the Jets to win this week.
  14. It's official. Squirrel is the MLB Batting Champion!!
  15. Thanks, man!!! Looks like Squirrel has the batting championship locked. I think Freeman needed to go 4-4 today and right now he's 2-3 with one more AB coming.
  16. Now, GO TO YOUR ROOM!
  17. Yup. Thanks to Edmunds!

  19. I'm actually headed out to Orchard Park on Saturday morning and attending the Bills/Steelers game. I'll be able to catch all of Friday's game, but will likely miss some of Saturday's game. Assuming it's an evening game, I'll be able to catch most of it in the hotel. We always hit the Bar Bill in the early evening, so by the time I get back to the hotel, the game will probably be about half over. But I'll be keeping tabs on my phone.
  20. Nobody except Brady and Gisele know if this actually took place.
  21. Einstein did well in summing up what I found funny.
  22. That's hilarious.
