  1. It's official. Squirrel is the MLB Batting Champion!!
  2. Thanks, man!!! Looks like Squirrel has the batting championship locked. I think Freeman needed to go 4-4 today and right now he's 2-3 with one more AB coming.
  3. Now, GO TO YOUR ROOM!
  4. Yup. Thanks to Edmunds!
  5. https://www.espn.com/mlb/schedule/_/date/20221007 Friday - 8:07pm ET Saturday - 7:37pm ET Sunday - 7:37pm ET
  6. I'm actually headed out to Orchard Park on Saturday morning and attending the Bills/Steelers game. I'll be able to catch all of Friday's game, but will likely miss some of Saturday's game. Assuming it's an evening game, I'll be able to catch most of it in the hotel. We always hit the Bar Bill in the early evening, so by the time I get back to the hotel, the game will probably be about half over. But I'll be keeping tabs on my phone.
  7. Nobody except Brady and Gisele know if this actually took place.
  8. Einstein did well in summing up what I found funny.
  9. That's hilarious.
  10. Is this supposed to be a compliment for Edmunds?
  11. I was just looking at the weather in Flushing. Looks like it's supposed to rain all night. So now we're looking at 2 tomorrow and another game on Thursday with no days off before the Wild Card. Lovely.
  12. Hey, fellas. Just quoting you so you get a notification. I forget to check here for days at a time. In all likelihood, it looks like the Braves are taking the division. That said, it looks like the Wild Card games will be scheduled Friday through Sunday at Citi Field. We're either playing the Padres or the Phillies. All three teams (Mets, Padres and Phillies) have not been lighting the world on fire recently. But we'll have Max and Jake. I said recently that I'm concerned about deGrom and after that last outing, I'll double down on that. And holy sh!t, was Bassitt horrible the other night. Cookie and Walker in the double-dip today. #LFGM
  13. Again ... the dude was still one of the best QBs in the league last year and he is healthy. Why would he want to retire from the only profession he's ever known if he thinks he can still compete at a high level? You're doubling down on a painfully ridiculous take. But it's fun, so please don't stop.
  14. I'm struggling to understand what this has to do with Tom Brady, or anyone else, for that matter.
  15. Yeah, it's not like football isn't all he's ever known, right? Or that he was still one of the best QBs in the league last year. Or that Tampa Bay was set up to make the playoffs again this season. It was all his ego and padding stats. And again ... you (and no one here) have no idea of the goings on between Brady and his wife. Zilch.
  16. You don't know this.
  17. Oh, he'll be chasing more than potential.
  18. Pay no attention to what your eyes see every game. Just trust that Edmunds is doing exactly what he's being asked to do and try to understand that all of his missed tackles and blocks are by design and that Edmunds is the main reason the rest of the defense is so good.
  19. i normally get it cut every 5-6 weeks. It’s a gorgeous head of salt-n-pepa.
  20. Daboll still wins the "close loss reaction," contest ...
  21. 2019: 4-6 (one game was a week 17 throwaway game in which our backups played the Jets) 2020: 5-1 2021: 0-6 I don't know where that ranks league-wide, but I'd hardly call it a trend. It's more likely that last season was a fluke.
  22. I scheduled a hair cut for 12:10pm ET. Got there on time. Waited 10 minutes to be seated. The stylist was very ... deliberate ... in the way she cut my hair. It's a basic cut. #2 on the sides/back; tapered; scissor cut to finger length on top. Always a 10-15 minute job. This chick took almost a half hour of cutting and also had to stop a few times to answer the phone, speak with walk-in customers. I still had to make my customary/usually unnecessary trip to the grocery store and I didn't get done with the hair cut until 12:50, Missed the first 5 minutes of the game because of all this. This is why I never had a doubt that we'd win.
