  1. I really hope so. I loved the pick when Beane drafted him. It just didn't work out. I'd love to see him find success and enjoy a solid NFL career.
  2. Hines vs. McKissic ...
  3. Outside, indeed. Beers are $4 (Canadian draft) and they let you buy them at the bar and bring them outside. I was totally fine with it. Spent the first hour or so with my son; then the rest of the party came and we got to catch up, since we hadn't seen each other for a very long time. Yeah, we drove 5 hours to get there. Normally, I'd never wait three hours to do anything. But this has become a tradition that I love.

    Happy Halloween

No taffy, here. Reese's, Snickers, Almond Joy, Milky Way, Twix ... all chocolate based stuff. Not a lot of room in the freezer at the moment. I ***** despise side-by-side refrigerator/freezers.
  5. We got to the Bar Bill at 4pm that same day (Saturday before the Steelers game). We ended up waiting three hours for a table. Granted, we had a party of ten; but three hours is definitely a record. Luckily it wasn't unbearably cold and it wasn't raining. And yes ... it was totally worth it!

I bought about $65 worth of candy, as I normally do each year. Weather was perfect for trick or treating; no rain, no wind, in the 50s. Traffic started out pretty steady starting at around 5:45pm. I told each trick or treater to "take a few." Many asked me to specify what a few meant (they were being polite), my stock answer was, "oh, 3 or 4 .. I'd take 4 if I were you." Most kids took two or three. Then, once 7pm hit ... nothing. Usually the older kids make their rounds between 7-7:45, but I only had a few of them. I've probably got about 1/3 of the candy left, which NEVER happens. Weird year. In years past, any left over candy would go to my office for the staff. I work from home now, so I need to find a place for this stuff.
  7. Ugh ... you just reminded me of the ingenious game plan against Houston in the playoffs that featured Duke Williams getting TEN ***** TARGETS.
  8. https://buffalonews.com/news/local/amherst-investor-buys-former-cozumel-restaurant-building-now-home-to-teton-kitchen/article_bfd5312f-937b-522b-8118-048a88d0e704.html It is now the Teton Kitchen. From Oct. 2018 ... Sinatra & Company Real Estate has sold the former home of Cozumel Grill on Elmwood Avenue – now an Asian restaurant – to an Amherst investor. Lakhi Singh, through Gilzian LLC, paid $839,488 to buy the 3,788-square-foot building at 153 Elmwood, at the corner of Allen Street. The two-story building – which Sinatra has owned for years – includes a 3,100-square-foot bar, restaurant and outdoor patio on the ground level, plus a 688-square-foot office upstairs. The restaurant space was occupied by Cozumel Grill and then Pasión Latin Cuisine until early 2018. It's now home to the second location of Teton Kitchen Thai & Japanese Cuisine, which first opened in 2013 in Depew.
  9. I'd assume this is the official thread ...
  10. I only watch the occasional clip of McAfee's show, although I do like him. When the NFL said that "the show is NOT allowed to use team logos in the graphics they make," my attention is immediately drawn to the "graphics they make," part. Does McAfee ever use NFL team logos on show-created graphics that might be considered off-color in any way? The way I interpret what the NFL is demanding is that McAfee can use NFL team logos as long as they're not part of graphics made by the show. Just trying to figure out if there's a reason for that, that might stick out to a regular viewer.
  11. About a decade or so ago, I got a pepperoni pizza from Blasdell without knowing anything about it. I was drunk and hungry and their menu was in the hotel room. Since then, a post-game pepperoni pie from Blasdell has become an annual post-game tradition.
  12. Why must you keep bringing this up? I was ***** horny. So sue me!!
  13. Phillies dodged a bullet with the rain delay. I think Syndergaard would have gotten absolutely smoked by the Astros. Now, they don't need him to start until Game 5. Suarez and Nola will start games 3 and 4, respectively. I think the Phillies need to win both of those games in order to have any chance of winning the Series.
  14. Turn on the radio The static hurts my ears Tell me where would I go I ain't been out in years Turn on the stereo It's played for years and years An Otis Redding song It's all I own When the world is running down You make the best of what's still around
  15. That “last channel” button on the remote is gonna get a workout in Houston and Philly!
  16. I like piggy back rides, Virg.
  17. Story of my life.
  18. Please define “pretty tuned out.”
  19. Don't try to feed me 'Cause I've been here before And I deserve a little more And I belong in the service of the queen And I belong anywhere but in between She's been lying and I've been sinking And I am the rain king
  20. For some reason, @Mike in Horseheadsabsolutely WORSHIPS Colin Cowherd. I wonder if this will change his mind.
  21. You mean like Jim Irsay?
  22. Hola, Senor Juanny. I just took some time to scroll through their tweets for all of September and October (they are VERY active on Twitter) and found nothing even close to inappropriate or provocative. Every picture of one/any of them seemed to be of them tailgating/at games.
  23. This is going to be an ass-whooping similar to what we saw when the Bills hosted the Steelers in Week 5.
