  1. Well, if they do(strategize to bungle things up for the sake of drafting high), then they suck at that just as much as they do picking players in the draft to put the team in a position to win. They've finished 6-10 or 7-9 the last four years and they're stuck in the mud. Drafting in the middle of the round isn't getting it done.
  2. If we're doomed this year then so be it. They're not going to win with this current collection anyway. If we have to lose again, please don't go 6-10 or 7-9. 2-14 or 3-13 is okay, knowing we'd have our choice between Luck, Locker, or Mallet. When we have our franchise QB, we can start to hope again. Picking first or second in the second round would also be like having another, low first rounder.
  3. "pedestrian speed and not a great route runner...", and yet the Bills management deemed him worthy of a second round pick.
  4. Marv was a mediocre coach. He had a great offensive coordinator in Marchibroda, and a lousy defensive coordinator in Corey. He had the benefit of a virtual all star team during his tenure but he couldn't win the big one. His greatest talent seems to have been assuaging egos. As a GM he sucked royally. His reaches with Whitner and McCargo have proven not justified. He gave big money to Derrick Dockery and Langston Walker( a couple of wastes), extended Kelsay for big money(another waste), drafted Edwards, drafted Lynch( after spouting about how he only wanted "character" guys, and worst of all, hired Jauron(who further stunk up this franchise). I don't hate him, but I don't praise him either, Hall of Famer, or not.
  5. this stream sucks. it locks up on the scoreboard after every commercial break
  6. I don't think anyone's distinguished themselves at linebacker. Arthur Moats has made some plays, and he's improved alot since the Skins game. I think he makes this squad for opening day.
  7. I think Munoz's commentary has been very good
  8. that's awesome!
  9. I just hope we've cut our ties to the morons who drafted him with the 11th OP. This team's dismal decade past is only mirrored by it's legacy of horrendous drafting in the early rounds.
  10. Edwards is the QB, and Gailey's the coach, and if you don't like it, you can get out of town!
  11. Yeah, and if OJ was white he'd be serving time in California for a double homicide!
  12. I would add Glenn Bass and Frank Lewis to that group
  13. Includes infamous "armpit of the east" comment from SF Chronicle's Glenn Dickey http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/art...018/1/index.htm
  14. For all you young Bills fans who want to get a look at the early Bills glory days: http://youtube.com/watch?v=HeQYK59rMmY
  15. For someone admonishing others not to forget or rewrite history, you sound as if you could read some history yourself. I take issue with your statement which includes "colonists from Great Britain". You mean European don't you? Besides, England didn't become the United Kingdom of Great Britain until 1801, a full quarter century after the American Declaration of Independence. As for a minimum wage of $3 a day, isn't that entirely the fault of the Haitian government? A better question is why does the US continue to prop up such a government?
  16. Nix stated that you build through the draft. I don't see him giving up draft picks at all for a mostly used up McNabb, unless they're ones from later on the second day of drafting.
  17. Jabari Greer's distinguishing himself nicely. Why'd we let him go again?
  18. I think you're right about the cheap shot. Reminds me a little of the Glenn Dickey( a west coast reporter covering the Raiders in the 60's) comment about Buffalo being "the armpit of the east" back in the late 60's. Also, alot like Pats columnists whose teams have be on top just long enough to make these wads take it all for granted and subconsciously think they'll always be. This assclown would do well to remember that the Bobby Ross era may not be that far away
  19. Isn't there somebody on here that's been harping for Mike Leach? How about as an OC?
  20. Why would Harbaugh agree to an interview if he wasn't interested in taking the job? Makes me wonder who was interviewing whom?
  21. Well, if what they say about how fast word travels amongst the NFL coaching fraternity is true, Bobby April's letter should demonstrate that it's not the city or the fans that any prospective HC would have any problem with
  22. Glad to see an ex Bill making an impact in the playoffs
  23. what would you be willing to give up for him?
  24. At least Perry wanted the job. Not sure it would have satisfied those wanting to see the house cleaning or "big splash"
