  1. I don't get it. WHY no love for Floyd? He catches everything, even balls that seem uncatchable. He looks more durable than Blackmon. He looks like a tight end but is fast. He dives and extends for the ball as good as anyone. The only knock on him seems to be a DWI and 2 occurences of underage drinking, but, IMO that is hardly worth holding against him. I'm actually hoping they pick an OLB/DE with 1st pick, but I would be THRILLED if they picked Floyd. So would Fitzy.
  2. Agreed. Spencer and Kelsay would make good backups at their natural positions. Also, not sure why so much love for Jones. He had that one good game vs NE. He seems like a speedy guy that probably impresses at practice, though, I think he lacks natual WR instincts. He lets the ball come to his chest instead of reaching out and catching with his hands. When he HAS extended for the ball, they were dropped. Had some good over the shoulder catches against NE, but Fitzy's not the best at placing balls over the shoulder. They need WRs that can catch Fitzy's hard-to-catch, wild & quick bullets.
  3. I like it except the WRs. Easley hasn't shown much and I wouldn't bank on him. I'd like to see Nelson higher on the chart (2nd or 3rd). Perhaps Hagan has a future here? How about Roscoe? I especially like that you excluded Spencer Johnson and Kelsay Also, DON'T FORGET BRYAN SCOTT. He's a freee agent. Hope they don't let him go.
  4. He's WHITE!! Quick! Extend his contract!
  5. My favorite part is Bruce Smith's obvious late hit. It's just hilarious how he reacts to the ref. "What!! ME!?" How I miss Bruce
  6. Why is Brady always involved every time I learn of a new rule that protects feable quarterbacks?? Like that stupid, freakin TUCK RULE!
  7. He's been getting those calls all year, all decade, so WTF is he talking about??
  8. Thanks for noticing! You're only allowed to do that if your a Patriot. The rest of the league gets penalties/fines for tackles like that.
  9. Hahaaaha. I missed Flo flop and I missed Brady's flop. Who flopped first?? Maybe Flo was just making fun of Brady? Florence has a history of game changing penalties against the Pats. Anyone remember the head butt in the 2007 AFC divisional playoff game??? I'll never forget that one.
  10. I noticed a few blown calls against the Pats that were so blatant the commentators mentioned them. 1. Hernandez taunting while running into the endzone. Totally blatant. Even more so than SJs "Happy New Year" 2. Late hit on Fitzy after he was out of bounds. IMO was worse than the late hit call on Florence last week. I also noticed most of Chung's tackles were borderline 15 yard penalties compared to similar calls I've seen over the course of 2011 games. (Leading with helmet against defensless WRs, but of course it would never be called on the Pats.) Others? I didn't watch most of the second half
  11. All of Fitzy's problems are correctable. His arm strength has improved this season. 90% of his throws to the right and middle of the field are on target. 50% of his throws left are awful. Chan's favorite play on 3rd and short happens to be a deep left pass, Fitzy's biggest weakness. Usually throws to the left are behind or underthrown. A big part of this are his mechanics. He waits too long to turn his shoulders left. Good coaches should be able to fix this. A good coach would call plays that utilize his strengths, like 5 yard slant routes on 3rd & short. Also, is Fitzy the toughest QB in the NFL? I think so. Look at how he runs for first downs, always diving head first for extra yardage. He's come a long way since last year. Watch him continue to progress next season. Thing he does better than any QB in the NFL: Avoiding sacks
  12. This is really infuriating. Brad Smith seems to have a knack for finding a soft spot in the line and getting short yardage. He knows how to follow blocks from Corey Mac. On 20 rushing attempts he has 7 first downs and 1 touchdown. What is really special about these stats is that these were all obvious short yardage, running situations. Somewhere along this season, Chan stopped using wildcat and started calling deep passes on 3rd and short and we all know how those worked out. Half of them were incomplete, the other half were INTs. I'm also perplexed as to why Chan calls deep passes on short yardage plays but usually calls short passes on 3rd and long????
  13. It's great that he's a vocal leader AND leads by example. When he first started playing I felt like he was good, but probably not as good as Suh. Now, you look at what a headcase Suh is and how he prides himself on being "evil" compared to the way Dareus carries himself. I think it's clear now that Dareus is a better team player and probably just as disruptive as Suh.
  14. Yeah. And they'll probably extend his contract another 5 years
  15. Sounds like they got it right but I REALLY don't think Kelsay looks any better because of any of those stats. The game was a fluke. Every sack was just Tebow being pathetic and dropping back way too far and getting blindsided. The tactics Kelsay uses will not work against any legitimate QBs and more importantly, Kelsay is a huge liability on running plays and screen passes. It's all edge rushing and he isn't very fast or powerful. He lacks any type of "inside move" so most plays he gets completely taken out. As long as he is on this team, they will be close to dead last in "rushing yards against" because he is so easy to exploit. They will also be last in QB sacks because he doesn't get his share. With a monster like Dareus getting double teamed all day, I'd expect that OLB position would have generated 10+ sacks and countless pressures, but it hasn't been there. The Bills would be smart to draft his replacement with the 1st pick.
  16. I agree with Florence when he says "you can be a hall-of-famer, bro." Great player, great leader, best draft pick since...??
  17. That's not a bad idea. Remember how fast he was when he ran those fakes?!
  18. Good point. Too late to do anything now. But still, they should've had a better backup Center. They should've brought someone in after Wood went down. They should stop using shotgun formations if the Center can't get it done. (off-topic) They should stop putting Tashard Choice out at WR or HB or on the field at all.
  19. Good to know the guy can block, but I don't have any confidence in his snapping ability. This game in New England might be snowing and if Chan insists on failing with 5 wideout shotgun all day, I just may have to smash my TV. Let Spiller have 20+ touches and this might be a good game.
  20. Did anyone notice how bad the snaps were in the Denver game? I mean, probably the worst shotgun snaps I've ever seen in my life at any level of football (including High School). Fitzy did an amazing job of handling them, but ya gotta ask "WHY!!?" I know that during the Miami game the excuse was that the rain made it too hard to snap, yet they stayed in 5 wideout Shotgun for most of the game despite the god-awful snaps and lack of good WRs. How can a professional football team not have a single healthy player that can snap a football? It just defies logic. If they can bring in replacement Kickers, why not a Center??
  21. Agreed. Did you see Tebow's sack for a 29 yard loss against the Pats? He drops back WAY too far. No wonder Kelsay had such a great day.
  22. The Bills could really use a veteran free agent WR. Though, we need one who can catch wildly inaccurate throws, not Edwards.
  23. Was I wrong about Kelsay? I've been bashing him on TBD for two years and now I'm wondering if he's just playing the wrong position. This was by far his best game of the last 2 season. The thing about playing Tebow is he's the only left-handed quarterback Kelsay has faced this year (was injured vs Vick). Kelsay has a "high motor" and tends to rush WAY outside and gets lead 15 yards into the backfield nearly every play. Vs Tebow this worked, because Tebow obviously didn't study film on Kelsay, and kept dropping back into the "Kelsay zone." He got 2 sacks plus he basically forced the INT to Specer Johnson. Tebow never saw him coming. Now, wouldn't it be smart, at this point, to let Kelsay line up on the opposite side against right-handed quarterbacks??
  24. IMO Andrew Luck would get crushed as a Bill. Stanford has the best O-Line and running game in college football. His WRs get tons of seperation. Coming into the NFL will be a dose of reality for Luck and all the "experts."
