mountainwampus replied to MARCELL DAREUS POWER's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
According to Troup's twitter, he literally cannot sleep at night. Hasn't slept well since he was 13. -
List: Most Useless Player on Every NFL Team
mountainwampus replied to mclauria1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Alex Carrington: The guy had limited playing time last season yet still managed to block TWO kicks, a deflected pass for an INT and had 4 run stuffs. Yep. Sounds pretty useless. -
What is so great about Levitre? Decent Guard but struggled at LT and C. I'd prefer Urbik because at least he can move to Center if needed.

Gillette and the evil empire

Perhaps you are right. A quick google search reveals he is on the Board of Directors of The Kraft Group and Viacom. So, we can at least blame him for MTV sucking. -
Gillette and the evil empire
mountainwampus replied to South Jersey Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a very smart way to shave, as long as the soap isn't loaded with chemicals. For best results, use the double blades without "lubricating strips" because they can also contain Triclosan. When triclosan mixes with tap water it creates chloroform gas, which is a carcinogen. Look it up. Read the labels. Almost every Gillette product is loaded with it. Bob Kraft is trying to kill us all!! -

Gillette and the evil empire
mountainwampus replied to South Jersey Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. We should all avoid Gillette, but not so much because of their connection with the Pats*. The real evil empire is Proctor & Gamble. They bought out Gillette in 2005 and they're known for putting poisons in all their products (*see Triclosan) as well as being Satanic. Also, do we really need a razor with 5 blades!!!!!? I recommend Bic. -
I can confirm that "hands of stone" is accurate and Jones lacks "ball skills." Even on some of his best catches, he doesn't use his hands, the ball bounces off his chest pads and then he catches it off the bounce. There was a critical 3rd down catch where Fitz placed the ball perfectly down the sideline but Jones mis-timed the jump, couldn't snag it. I also recall Jones popping a ball in the air, across the middle for an INT, right off his hands. He may be one of the more athletic WRs and his game against the Pats* was stellar, but I still think he's far away from a #2 starting WR. IMO, Hagan or Nelson will be the #2. I'd be suprised if Easley makes the team. Nothing against him, it's just that odds are stacked against 3rd year rookies.

How about a new Head Coach? Gailey is a great coach and all but he doesn't seem like HEAD Coach Material. -
"Those are two hellified players"
mountainwampus replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are we sure that Kelsay is playing on the 1st team? Last I heard, Alex Carrington was getting reps at that spot. He deserves the job over Kelsay. He looked great in the Philly game last year filling in for Kelsay. Nevermind. I missed todays OTA tweet. Looks like Carrington is working DT now with Spencer Johnson. Kelsay and Merriman on the ends so it's changing everyday. -
Kelsay, Johnson, or Edwards, who gets cut?
mountainwampus replied to TPS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope. Sacks are a different stat than "tackles for loss" or "run stuffs". Carrington had 4 last year, Kelsay had 0. -
Kelsay, Johnson, or Edwards, who gets cut?
mountainwampus replied to TPS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Alex Carrington He blocked a PAT and a Field Goal. Also had 2 big batted passes (one was intercepted). Also had a sack and several tackles for losses. Kelsay didn't record a single tackle for a loss last year despite getting way more playing time. -

mountainwampus replied to TPS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kelsay will be here till he retires. Not a fan of his, just being realistic. Spencer and Dwan are good players. I prefer Dwan, but it could go either way. Flip a coin. Perhaps both get cut in favor of younger guys like Carrington and Kellen Heard. I'd bet money that Troup gets the axe. He just hasn't done squat and can't stay healthy. -
Who's Your Biggest Bills Creep of All Time ??
mountainwampus replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stevie Johnson. He walks right by his teammates with out-stretched-high-five hands to put on a spectacle. Shoots himself in the foot. So creepy. ...Too soon? -
What have the Bills done wrong this offseason?
mountainwampus replied to Jeffery Lester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wished they would've drafted Floyd over Gilmore paired with a 3rd round CB over TJ Graham. Graham dropped so many passes at the combine, I doubt he would've gone any higher than 6th, plus they trashed a 7th rounder on him too. He better be at least as good as Roscoe. -
Is anyone else worried that this team doesn't have enough DE's? Merriman is a total wildcard. Anderson might not be as good as his sack stats suggest. Who knows, Mario might not fit in. Perhaps Kelsay is the safest bet right now?? I can't believe I'm saying that...
-
I would have kept Hargrove. He might not be as nice a guy as Kelsay, but he hits harder and makes big plays.
-
I'm somewhere in the middle. Yes, I wanted him cut years ago, but he's still here and could be an asset this year. He always made a decent back-up for Denney. I just don't think he ever deserved to be a starter and he was slightly over-paid. I'd be fine with him as a back-up till he retires.
-
One thing is for sure: Kelsay is polarizing. Half of Bills fans love him. The other half wanted him cut years ago. I don't think the fans are this split on any other player. Perhaps Fitz?

Chan was just being nice. "Decent" might be a better term. You people need to have higher standards for what "good" is.

Gettin a stronger arm is possible
mountainwampus replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz has a lot of mechanical issues when throwing to the left. He keeps his body square to the right, pulls back to throw and then shifts his body to the left in one motion as he's throwing. A lot of these throws have resulted in INTs or just bad passes. His throws to the right have been pretty excellent. Seems to me that he just needs to take an extra moment to turn his shoulders to the left BEFORE making those throws. I'm thinking a better OL will help him calm down in the pocket and make accurate throws anywhere on the field. -
Gilmore & Glenn High Bust Potential?

I've heard a lot of mentions of Coples and Hill being likely busts. Perhaps they confused us with the Jets? -

One of the best hits I have ever seen.
mountainwampus replied to Johnny Hammersticks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Bradham is my favorite of all the draft picks. Seems like he was guilty of being too good and strong on that play. I don't see what else he could've done. He was the slower moving object in that collision. The WR was the one with all the speed. His QB lead him into a brick wall. Is Bradham supposed to avoid making a legal hit because the WR is so weak and feable? If that were Vernon Davis making the catch, would there still be a flag? Doubt it. -
CJ #1 Rated RB performance
mountainwampus replied to Wayne Cubed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm hopeful that the upgraded D will change a lot about the offensive play calling. I'd like to see more trickery from Fitz and less WRs on the field. More Freddie and CJ, please.
