  1. Brady would be a failure as a Bill unless Belichick came with him (and a couple Tight Ends).
  2. Aaron Rodgers made an INT that was just as ugly as Fitzy's Cromartie pick. Just sayin.
  3. C & D. Wanny should've brought 1000% more blitzes. If Sanchez is gonna find wide open receivers all day, at least pressure him, hurry him, knock him down, anything! I think blitzes were called 2-3 times and none of them were clever or disguised. Honestly, has the Bills D ever looked worse? A weak 4 man rush with everyone wide open, almost every play? Wanny needs to pull a Geoge Costanza and follow the opposite of every instinct he has.
  4. I noticed 2 Sheppard blitzes. One of which was against a running play, the other was on a passing play that got zero pressure. I know it's kinda early to say this, but Wanny should be fired. He has no balls. How else can you explain not calling a single heavy blitz for an entire game? That is the least pressure I've seen on a QB in years. Sad.
  5. Cordy Glenn looked good. Chandler, reliable as always. Spiller. That's all.
  6. If 1 or 2 guys go down with an injury, and Merriman is still out there, you'd think they would re-sign him. He would be the best option (unless there's more to this story than we know, because I'm not sure why he was cut in the first place).
  7. I only noticed one blatant hold against JPP that wasn't called. He knew it, Collinsworth mentioned it. No excuse for not calling it.
  8. I'd rather see the two worst NFL teams play each other with the first overall draft pick going to the WINNER. Sports should never reward epic failure.
  9. He was actually VERY noticable in the 2nd half of each game. He was, at times, making all the tackles, diagnosing every play. Pretty much flawless. He looked like the best tryout player on the entire D. Roster spot well deserved.
  10. While Bradham might still be a bit raw, did you notice how hard he hits? Pretty much every hit he laid looked like the hardest of the night. Many guys on the receiving end were getting up in pain. He forced a fumble too (at least Tasker says he did). He looks like one of the most athletic guys on the team. I was impressed. But yeah, I agree with Morrison being the best MLB right now.
  11. On one play last night, McKillop got absolutely killed. Got turned around and the play went right past him. It wasn't pretty. I know it was just one play, but worth mentioning. Also, Carder may have had the best MLB play of the night, sniffing out that screen pass. Morrison just looks polished. Nothing fantastic, but I think he is the safest of the MLBs (including Sheppard).
  12. I think he was a keeper. Sucks to lose him to a rival team as well. Excellent run blocker.
  13. Exactly. He is the anointed backup, apparently. Give a guy enough touches, he'll eventually make some plays.
  14. I feel like they've given Choice so many chances that he was bound to eventually make a few good plays in preseason, but if you look back at his performance last year, there were a lot of flubbed plays. He was on the field for a lot of failures. Seems like Gailey wants to keep his sub-par friends employeed for longer than they deserve.
  15. While JPP will probably barely play, I fully expect Solder and Cannon to get a lot of time because of how bad they have been, and I fully expect them to get destroyed as they have in all 3 preseason games. Don't count on Solder. I know Vollmer is decent, but how is this Waters?
  16. Maybe you're right, but he certainly didn't look as bad as Cannon and Solder. I'm not sure why THAT isn't the biggest story of the preseason. NFL.com hasn't even mentioned them despite hammering away at Hunter. At least he was playing legit and not blatantly holding. The Pats need to follow suit and make a quick panic-trade. Maybe the Jets will take Cannon for Smith?
  17. It hasn't happened yet, but there's talk of the Packers cutting James Starks. He's from Buffalo and would be a huge upgrade over Choice.
  18. The Rams know something here. Some Tackles just can't play. I watched the Giants game and thought Hunter's criticism was overblown. The Jets are in panic mode. Rarely, are good decisions made during a panic. The Jets are in a downward spiral and are about to crash.
  19. Hunter is a scapegoat here. The Jets are just looking to lay blame since they can't find the end zone. JPP is just an unblockable beast. He's gonna make every tackle he faces look foolish. Watch what he does against Solder/Cannon wednesday vs the Pats*. Brady may not survive.
  20. I agree. He was on the losing end of every battle. He has no business being a starter. He can't pursue plays. He had one chance with his arm on a RB and didn't even try to make a tackle. Morrison looks like the guy. He's not great but Shep is awful. Obvious cut.
  21. This is why we can't cut McGee. He's too important in Madden.
  22. JPP just put the Jets RT, Wayne Hunter, out of a job. Now they are going to try an undrafted free agent in there to hopefully face Mario in game 1.
  23. Anyone watch the Eagles/Pats game the other day? I was in awe at how bad Nate Solder is. He allowed sacks going against 2nd and 3rd teamers in both preseason games. He gets beat nearly every time and reverts to blatant holding (usually gets away with it). At one point he was punching a player on the ground after a play, but of course The Eagles got the 15y flag for retaliating. They also had 2 failed 3rd down conversions granted 1st downs because of "roughing the passer." But those plays would have been sacks if Solder and Cannon weren't holding. The Pats* had very few legitimate good plays. They should be scared right now. Most of their yardage came from penalties. I don't see them making the playoff this year. Pass protection has always been their secret weapon and it appears to be gone.
  24. Let's not forget, Heard sacked Brady TWICE in the final game last year.
  25. Please pick 4 or 5 D-line backups that you think will make the team.
