The next Bills GM is... Kevin Costner?

...and Buffalo 66 ...and Buffalo 66 -
As soon as Bradham made his first tackle, I was like, "whoa, who the hell was that? We don't have LBs that hit like that! Oh, Bradham..." He puts WAY more into his tackles than any other defender on the team. I was high on Moats, but he's getting killed out there. I'm glad the coaches have enough sense to make the change. I'd also like to see Morrison come in for Shep and Delano Howell needs to play. Byrd has never looked worse. Wilson too. Our safeties used to be good, but they look like utter garbage lately. Also, the entire D-line minus KW....

Whose our "feared" defensive player.

Nigel Bradham: Hardest hitter on the team -
By the sounds of Chan's latest comments, and the way Bradham played (compared to Moats), I predict he'll be starting from now on. Also, plan on seeing a lot more Kyle Moore.
-
Yes, Braham looks solid. He looks better than Moats. Also, Kyle Moore came in and 49ers were double teaming him. It's about time! I've had enough of Kelsay and Mario isn't doing jack.
-
Sure, Stevie would have better stats and be held in higher regards if he had a better QB. BUT, what if he was playing with a QB worse than Fitz? Trent Edwards for instance. He'd likely be journeyman free agent at this point of his career if Fitz didn't pick him as a favorite target.

The Tarvaris Jackson Trade - huh?
mountainwampus replied to Beebes Bubble's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This has a lot to do with Chan's cronyism with Thigpen. Chan will do whatever it takes to keep Thigpen employed. That's why Vince Young was cut. Same thing with Choice. Why did Johnny White barely get any touches in preseason? Because Chan doesn't want anyone to challenge his pet players. Both guys will be here as long as Chan is HC (and not a day longer). -
Refs Love Brady...just an observation
mountainwampus replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How about his knee clearly down before getting into the endzone? Nah, just give it to him. -
What about Kelsay? He was stuck on the field for most of the 2nd half and got destroyed. Had 0 tackles despite nearly every run heading right at him. I'm sick of all of these DEs. Let Kyle Moore play!!

How to beat the Pats
mountainwampus replied to FanofFredJackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. Force Brady to stay in a horrible Buffalo hotel the night before. Reunite Occupy Buffalo right outside his window. 2. Hit Brady, but not too hard! That's not legal. Unless the hit is late. In that case, hit him as hard as possible! 3. After the Pats fail a 3rd down conversion, they resort to cheap shots. Avoid retaliation penalties! 4. Put all Field Goals and Extra Points over the top of the goal posts. Just to annoy Belichick. 5. No over-the-top celebrations until the game is over. 6. During the Pats final drive, "forget" to switch the down indicator on the scoreboard. 7. Beware of the "tuck rule." 8. Keep Shawn Powell off the field. 9. If Pats are about to win, in kneel-down mode, might as well blitz 12 men. -
Rotoworld Week 4 QB Rankings

Hmmm... Rodgers #1? This must be from last season. He looked foolish in that Monday night game. He even sacked himself. Eli is the true #1 right now. -
Real Refs to return this weekend
mountainwampus replied to Wayne Cubed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The 12th man needs to keep these "real" refs under the microscope. If anything shady happens, we need to chant BULLSH*T for 10 minutes just like last weeks Ravens game. -
The refs on the field got it right. Incomplete pass. Every pass has an empty hand at some point. It's called follow-through.

Fitz Sack = ? And O-line Pride
mountainwampus replied to CSBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let me get this straight, if a QB loses grip on the ball while tucking the ball, getting sacked, it's an incomplete pass. If a QB loses grip while throwing it's a fumble and a sack?! -
Belichick touching the official after the game
mountainwampus replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True. This was a strange game. Most of the calls were bad, yet they didn't seem to favor either team. The 5 yard defensive holding that nullified that last INT was a typical Cheatriot-ref-payoff call, yet the Pats also got called on a phantom 5 yard call in the previous drive that lead to the Ravens final TD. These replacement refs might suck, but they are way less biased than the regs. -
Nate Solder Should be Suspended
mountainwampus replied to TakeYouToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mankins played way dirtier. He got away with punches, shoves, and head-butts after the whistle, yet somehow drew penalties on the Ravens, twice. The worst was his head-butt on Ngata. Ngata got flagged only after the Mankins head butt, and Brady's whine to the refs. It made no sense. -
David Nelson after surgery-Awesome
mountainwampus replied to gobills28's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This makes a lot a sense. He'll likely lay off the cardio post surgery and start to build some upper body mass. He might even come back a tight end. -
David Nelson after surgery-Awesome
mountainwampus replied to gobills28's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm pretty certain Nelson will be on the team for his entire career. He is a natural. He's got amazing hands. He learned that from playing with Tebow. -
oh, I see. Either way, strange time to retire. Strange way to scheme a D. It could very well be a fluke, but I'm thinking conspiracy.
-
The Defensive scheme used against the Jets was bizarre to say the least. There has to be more to the story than any of us know. Maybe the equipment manager is to blame? Why was he fired the next day? Perhaps Sheppard's radio ran outta batteries so they ran "vanilla" D all day? IDK, but something strange happened. The D used against KC was proper and sophisticated, so you gotta wonder what happened.

So can we talk about SJ attitude for a minute
mountainwampus replied to D521646's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just because they all love him, he plays and practices hard, does not make him a great teammate. I'm talking about teamsmanship. It's not a word, but it should be. Does he realize how hard every other player on the field worked to make his TD happen? He certainly doesn't show it. He doesn't even acknowledge his teammates after scoring. Am I wrong? -
So can we talk about SJ attitude for a minute
mountainwampus replied to D521646's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I noticed after his TD, Chandler came over to give him a high five, but he was oblivious, looking around at the crowd instead. Oh well. It is what it is. He'll never be known for having a great attitude or being the best teammate, but he's the only decent WR on the team and at least he has no flags this year (..yet). -
Chan and the running game
mountainwampus replied to Pirate Angel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone notice how the amount of WRs in formation seems inversely proportional to the chances of it being a successful play? I don't have stats to back this up, but it sure seems that way. Everytime I see a 5 wideout set I expect either an INT, an incompletion or best case: a nice run by Fitzy. When Chandler and/or McIntyre are out there, the chance of a positive play goes way up. -
Chiefs last TD caught out of bounds?

Both feet were in. It was clearly visible in the HD broadcast replay.
