  1. I find TJ to be so bad that he makes a perfect pass appear uncatchable. Much like last weeks 4th and 3 attempt.
  2. Chandler had 3 drops. TJ Graham had 2 drops and then topped it off with a fumble-6. Chandler has been a dependable target for years. TJ is an embarrassment to this team and to the city of Buffalo.
  3. Tuel is a fisherman-type athlete. A rare breed in the NFL. His fishing-line casting experience gives him exceptional control with his touch passes.
  4. Pocket presence is actually supposed to be Tuel's strength, according to a lot of the pre-draft scouting reports.
  5. Tuel has skills. Skills we don't even know about. Of course I'm only guessing, but how else did he make it this far? TJax was promptly cut upon Tuel's arrival. There are reasons to believe he has skills that exceed his competition. They see SOMETHING in him. Tuel's biggest limitation seems to be throwing with zip. His passes in the Browns game looked about half the speed of EJ's, but the lobs he threw were all accurate. The would-be TD to Chandler was so well-placed that holding Chandler was the only option. He also had a nice screen pass to FJ. If Hackett designs a run-heavy gameplan with deep bombs and screen passes peppered in, Tuel just may survive.
  6. I mentioned TJ because he is awful and was retained while Nelson was let go. If this wasn't the dumbest move of the offseason than what was? Nelson is now playing the exact same position as TJ but actually making an impact and playing with physicality. Nelson has out-performed TJ at every stage of his career. He's also 5" taller, has bigger hands, a 38" vertical vs TJ 33.5" and he isn't afraid to play football, unlike TJ. Is this an unfair comparison? Are TJ's problems just EJ's fault?
  7. Nelson's response: "I just think he apparently wasn't fond of playing against a physical receiver..."
  8. If one knee injury is considered "injury prone" than what is your opinion on EJ's fragility?
  9. Baseless. He had 4 catches for 80 yards vs Pats. Better than any game TJ has EVER had.
  10. There is no proof that Nelson is slow. You are just parroting statements from the Gailey regime. Dude had ran a 4.5 40 with a 6'5" frame. This is slow? How fast is Stevie?
  11. Not worthy of threats, IMO. Nelson simply bumped Pacman shoulder to shoulder. What's more notable is that Nelson is playing FLANKER, in for injured Holmes!! The Gailey Admin insisted that Nelson was too slow to line up outside. *&%$ IDIOTS!!!! He already has more catches than TJ and just joined the Jets 4 games ago. They cut a STUD and promote a BUST.
  12. He looked pretty unprepared on the Bucs as well, after several years of starting. He actually called 2 timeouts on the opening drive of the season. Adderall just doesn't work as good after prolonged use. NFL.com actually put up a highlight film of all his incompletions vs NYG (all 33 of them). It might be the worst footage of any QB I've ever seen. I think his career might be over.
  13. Guess who hasn't faced a team with extra prep time (coming off of Thursdays game or bye week) in 2 full seasons? The Cheats* Edit: My mistake, they played a team coming off of a Thursday game last season, but still, the Pats have the most favorable schedule in the NFL over 2 seasons in terms of extra rest and prep time.
  14. The call was questionable. I think when you're down 3 points YOU NEED 3 POINTS, so take them! The play-call made the "go for it" decision look foolish.
  15. This is a serious weak link. Our WRs lack physical dominance. All of them. They are guys who can make plays if wide open but not much else. I like Woods and Stevie, but the rest of them are unproven. If they could just add 1 proven vet, this team would be in better shape. A basketball player type, like Jimmy Graham, could make us playoff material. A guy like Jordy Nelson, who can catch anything along the sideline is also lacking here. A height/speed mismatch guy like Megatron or AJ Green would be nice. Also, a physical dominator like Boldin would be a great asset. Give me any of the above types instead of our track guys and I'd be happy.
  16. The Broncos are playing by a completely different rulebook than the rest of the NFL. On Decker's 57 yard catch he used a stiff arm on his defender before the ball got there to gain separation, while Demarcus Ware had his helmet pulled off by the facemask. There was a flag on the play, but on the Cowboys.
  17. Maybe cutting TJax was a mistake. I watched his game vs Jags and he looked stellar. He even had a nice head first dive on a TD run. Now Fitz, on the other hand, was given such a ridiculously inflated contract, there was not any good reason to keep him, even though he would have been a perfect mentor for EJ, much like he's been for Locker, at a bargain price of $3 mil.
  18. I present Easley at combine vs TJ at combine. Easley runs a 4.46 while TJ gets a 4.41 40 yard dash but who catches everything? Easley. TJ looks awful on the sideline catch much like he does in actual games. It's as if he TRIES to step out.
  19. They need to end the TJ experiment now before he destroys the franchise. It's not hard to beat 2 catches for 13 yards in 3 games! They should be trying out different receivers left and right until they find a guy with actual BALL SKILLS. Easley could be that guy, but Hogan is also good and Tommy Streeter needs to be promoted to the roster. Let's not bank on B. Smith and Goodwin, two guys who aren't even traditional WRs.
  20. Not saying it mattered, but the whole team was lined up while TJ was lolly-gagging back to the LOS.
  21. EJ needs to improve his deep throws, but from what I've seen, Tuel has already mastered it and is likely the mentor in this scenario.
  22. Anyone notice how the Bills couldn't get their final snap for a hail mary vs Jets because TJ couldn't get set? It thought he was fast.
  23. Easley over TJ is THE most talked about depth chart controversies on TBD and all of social media. I think it's time to start chanting EEEEAS LEY after TJ drops one at the Ralph.
  24. Not funny. I think both Tuel and EJ could be great QB's. The whole "1st round vs undrafted" aspect has people thinking Tuel's some kinda joke but he was considered one of the most under-rated QB prospects in the draft, while EJ was considered the most over-rated after being selected 16th overall (not my opinion, just general consensus). Nothing against EJ, just saying, Tuel ain't no joke. He has excellent pocket presence and throws very accurate deep balls. He also looked stellar in preseason. Even his incompletions in the Skins game were accurate passes that Goodwin and TJ couldn't complete. I have yet to see Tuel overthrow his WR.
  25. Maybe that was just as bad, but this game was notable because they had so many extra chances to make plays with all the penalties and so many resulted in sacks and out-of-bounds throws. The completion % to WRs (32.1%, 9 of 28) was Tebow-like. They just couldn't connect. And 8 sacks? That number I reckon hasn't been seen since Rob Johnson.
