He basically moved as little as possible. He hung around the LOS all game. Had a couple chances to help finish off tackles but chose to wait and watch. Got pushed far off the goal line for McCown's QB sneak. It was really bad.

FINALLY: NFL hires FULLTIME Refs
mountainwampus replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Walt Anderson completely botched the Seahawks game last year. He was also the deflategate ref. What's wrong with Hochuli? -
The NYJ Have Released C. J. Spiller

All his best career plays were in the passing game. He would be a better WR than a RB. -
[Misleading Title]Tyrod and blood sugar

Tom Brady has never eaten a strawberry. -
Watkins is only as good as his feet. He lives and dies by his mobility. He can't catch contested passes. What did he do last season other than catch a lot of bombs? He knew how to get open and could outrun CBs, awesome, but there wasn't very much playmaking behind the chains or between the hash marks. He always looks hesitant on those types of plays. Pussified even.

Tasker didn't mean two first round picks. He meant two $1 dollar bills.

Not a Bruce, but Lawson was pretty much our best fast, versatile LB. He only got outplayed because he was injured! I honestly think they threw away the season with this. It's a top story on NFL.com, most shocking cut. I'm not imagining things. Nobody could contain the edge last night. It sucks and doesn't even make sense.

This team doesn't have enough DE/OLBs. The guys we have picked up are basically walk-on UDFA quality. Even if Manny wasn't producing, you've got to cut him some slack when the roster is so void of decent alternatives. This is curtains.

I noticed that all of Dak's throws are coming out of a clean pocket and when he was pressured for the first time, boom, INT (called back for late hit, though). How well a QB performs under pressure is the most important thing.

My favorite memories of Tyrod were @ Miami. He only threw it 12 times, but he seemed to be faking out the entire D with such ease, rolling out so quick, calmly setting his feet with rushers in his face, hitting Clay wide open setting up big time YAC. I see Vick 2.0, with touch and instincts like Flutie flakes and he becomes Russell Wilson when he escaping the pocket. If we don't pay him now, we may not be able to afford him. Being his second year with all the same faces on O (cept Hogan) he will light it up. Whaley should be sweating. He needs to figure something out soon or Tyrod could end up with Brock money, somewhere else.

Mike Williams emerges -- (update: Signing with KC)
mountainwampus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh Freeman was once considered a "franchise QB". He didn't have to be perfectly accurate because Williams has a HUGE catching radius and ball skills. Doesn't matter that he's not as fast as these track stars. He's better. Hogan will be running circles around him at practice, but they would be wise to give him the chance the Bills didn't. -
He needs to go. He's never once caught a pass with any hint of defensive presence, only when he's wide open. Catches a 9 yard pass on 3rd and 10, gets 0 YAC. "Drops" a ball on a crucial 3rd & 10 and doesn't lobby for an obvious challenge. Harrasses Woods after making a huge play, just for fumbling out of bounds. Dude is my least favorite WR since TJ, with very similar skill set.

Will the Bills make the playoffs this year?
mountainwampus replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It all hinges on Incognito. Glenn and Wood's game will suffer without reliability between them. McCoy will get bottled up. Karlos won't get as many big play TDs. Tyrod will have less time. Nothing can negatively affect our playoff chances more than losing Cog right now. -
McCoy's nightclub fight and the ongoing investigation
mountainwampus replied to lowghen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How I imagine it went down: Bar brings out a bottle of champagne to table of 3 off duty cops. 4 NFL players at a nearby table also ordered a bottle, so they insist on getting a bottle first. McCoy proclaims that "my time is more valuable than your time." Head stomping ensues. -
He proved again why he wins more than everybody
mountainwampus replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He chose to kick because the Jets D had been shutting them down all day. I was expecting the Jets to stop the initial drive, make a few passes to Marshall & Decker to set up a field goal to win. The game ended as a defensive struggle. Even Pats final TD required that the RB use offensive pass interference while the entire Oline can be seen holding the Ds facemasks over their eyes to prevent a passrush or batted ball (at this point in the game, Pats had zero penalties called against them). BB knew the Jets D had the better of them. In such a game, it's not outlandish to kick in OT. -
Bills or Jets...Who would you rather Be
mountainwampus replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jets are in a better position since we just took on their old loser of a coach while they just got new coaching that seems to have maximized the potential of the team. We have more potential and a brighter future at the QB position, so at least we've got that going for us. -
Is it me, or does Woods fall a lot
mountainwampus replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's the Ralph's slippery A turf. Clay, McCoy and Watkins have all slipped on it many times this season. It's happening every season. The A turf is crap. The whole league knows it. Bills are the only professional team that uses it. -
Oops! Hogan's No Catch was a Catch says the NFL
mountainwampus replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
During the radio broadcast John Murphy said "now they'll have to use a challenge" immediately after the play, as if it were a given. Seemed like a no-brainer. -
We need a team to beat the Pats, so the rest of the league can see how it was done. I thought the Colts had the best strategy so far: hit Edelman so hard his finger bends sideways so he causes a pick 6 on a bobble, but we need a better strategy than this. How can Gronk be contained? Which defensive tactics work? We need Giants to show us the way.

Stevie Johnson and Chandler, the 2 most dependable and experienced possession receivers we had. It's great to have these flashy playmakers, but sometimes the vets bring mentoring and level-headed leadership that seems to be lacking right now. I also miss Spikes, because he set the tone on 1st and 2nd downs and made our D more potent.

My bad. I just hope he once to be here.
