  1. One of my friend's sons has worked at Oak hill for the last 3 summers. One of those A level personality types with a quick wit. Tiger asked him for his locker number. The kid asked him "your last name sir?". To Tiger's credit he laughed.
  2. Stay at 12. It only takes one beer to get drunk. Not sure if it is the 13th or 14th.
  3. You are correct, says that on the pre-recorded message
  4. My Showtime is blocked...something about a feud between CBS and Time Warner
  5. http://myinterviewsimulator.com/ Here is an interview simulator. Geared towards interviewing for a job with a different company but many questions will be the same, especially the behavioral interview questions. I've found that at least I'm more prepared for interviews and not as nervous since using it (lost my job last year at the age of 56, not easy looking) Along with the strengths question above, be prepared for weaknesses question. Suggest you use some portion of the job that your skills may be weak in rather than a personality trait that you may not think is important but the interviewer might. Questions to ask (not sure if these have been posted or not, apologies if they have) What are the biggest challenges or obstacles the person in this position will face? Can you describe a typical day or week in the position? What would a successful first year in the position look like? How will the success of the person in this position be measured? How would you describe your management style? Thinking back to people who have been in this position previously, what differentiated the ones who were good from the ones who were really great?
  6. Friggin' hilarious...(don't think there were bus trips to camp in '94, camp was at Fredonia. Ironically I live in Rochester, have relatives in Dunkirk & Fredonia - used to go to camp when it was there, haven't been since it moved to Pittsford)
  7. I call it battered fan syndrome. Hope you have reason to attend a game this season.
  8. Brad Paisley and Alison Kraus Whiskey Lullaby
  9. Gordon Lightfoot's Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adZiVjXFfKk
  10. #44...I went to Iroquois Middle School
  11. Noticed a big inaccuracy. In season 1 or 2 it came out that Dexter's father killed himself shortly after walking in on his first kill. This season there's a scene where the shrink is showing Dexter a disk of an old session she had with his father. In it his father is describing that in Dexter's third kill he started hanging pictures of the victims of the person he was killing and making that person look at the pictures before killing him. Anyone else notice this?
  12. Class of 75 Irondequoit (outside Rochester) really goes overboard...3 or 4 small ones every year with 25-40 attendees, 1 good size one every year with 75-100 attendees, and the traditional real big one every 5 years. I make 1-2 a year and most of the traditional 5 year.
  13. BB wrote a character reference, I can just see it, "The kid may have some problems but he isn't a serial killer"
  14. Don't work out, no energy. Work out, no energy left, to tired to do anything else
  15. Guilty, I was sure all the draft picks were signed but had to double-check Woods.
  16. good point, try to keep the alcohol abuse down to 1-2 times a week...make those the lousy eating days.
  17. Um...running 1-2 miles a day is better than nothing but it really isn't much. Add 2 miles of walking briskly at the end of the day (alternatively run 3-4 miles a day rather than 1-2, but with knee problems might not be doable), change your eating habits 5 days a week and only eat lousy once or twice a week.
  18. That scene where the national championship team is introduced at half time of a contemporary game to less than an enthusiastic crowd, then the crowd starts cheering and Dennis Quaid) thinks it is for him, only to turn around and see that it is for the team coming back on to the field is really depressing. Wouldn't be surprised if your theory is correct.
  19. Old Chinese saying, better to be 80 years young than 40 years old. 41 is way to young to be feeling old. Get off the can, get to the gym, and start having a positive outlook.I'm 56 years old, an average day consists of 8-10 hours of landscaping work, 1-2 hours at the gym, 1/2 - 2 hours of looking in on/shopping/cooking for my 94/95 year old parents (they golfed regularly until they were 92), going home and catching the late news. 2-3 days a week throw in a softball game. Just sayin, being old at 41 is a choice as is being young at 80.
  20. It was a #1 seed but lost to The Program in the quarter finals. I agree with your assessment
  21. 23 years, 6 months, 5 days with a company outside Rochester. 9 months contract before that. Never Once called in sick. Laid off last December. Used to tell my co-workers "what we do isn't fun but it isn't work. landscaping, farming, that's work." I'm landscaping. now. i hate being right.
  22. Brings back memories...lived on my Uncle's farm for the summer when I was 14, we would go over to his buddies at night and he would toss me the keys when we left if he'd had too much to drink. Fortunately never got pulled over.
  23. Agreed, good people don't make for good headlines
  24. http://www.ign.com/b...eport.77495994/ cliff notes - good improvement as a senior and great intangibles but lacks size, strength, mobility...interestingly enough was drafted by Montreal Expos out of high school as a catcher
