Is Demented Biden the Worst President Ever?
Steve O replied to Irv's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
O'Reilly had Pierce at 5th worst. Either way, both were bad. "...he showed discontent across America with his handling of slavery through the Kansas-Nebraska Act and an unfeeling approach to politics. “Franklin Pierce was a drunk … and that really affected his ability to make decisions and to even function on some days,” O’Reilly said." -
Is Demented Biden the Worst President Ever?

According to Bill O'Reilly, Biden is second worst. James Buchanan is the worst, buy a wide margin, blaming him for the Civil War. -
How do you turn a lawn mower in to a snow blower? Buy her a shovel.

Even Rodgers called it ridiculous. "might as well play sarcastaball" -
It's a Wonderful Life (1946) I mean, it's a great movie and all, but my life sucks, so screw Jimmy Stewart and his damn angel.

Al-Shaair suspended 3 games will miss Chiefs game of course
Steve O replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure if it was the last time, but Kareem Jackson was suspended 4 games last season for this hit on (former Bill) Logan Thomas. He had been fined the previous week for a similar hit.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNOUY3oUK7k edit: somehow Thomas still makes the catch. -

Correct, all suspensions are without pay (otherwise it's what known as a vacation.) -
Chris Wallace, possibly the only moderate in the supercut, says "Lets wait and see what happens if he loses."

Legendary St. John's basketball coach Lou Carnesecca dies at 99
Steve O replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in Off the Wall
Who could forget the sweater game. Number 2 Georgetown went to Madison Square Garden to take on number 1 St John's. St. John's was on a 19 game winning streak which started when Lou Carnesecca put on a gifted sweater near the end of a close game. For the rematch in February (St. John's had won the first meeting against then #1 Georgetown earlier that season) John Thompson found a duplicate sweater, covered it with a jacket, walked over to Lou before the game, and opened the jacket to reveal the sweater. Crowd went crazy. Georgetown went on to win handily. -
A lot of people like the Bing Crosby/David Bowie rendition of Little Drummer Boy. I prefer The West Wing rendition, performed by the Antrim Mennonite Choir. If you listen you might want to have some Kleenex close by.

Really not trying to get this moved to PPP, just wondering if either of you had the flu vaccine?

Guess I walked in to that one with my guard down. In the words of Toby Keith, I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was!

Seems drivers licenses and insurance are as well. At least in NYS.

Same place you'll find the Harmon drop, wide right, and home run forward pass. Buried just shallow enough in my memory to resurface every time there's even a chance I leave a game early.

Yeah, I'm not sure at what point a few becomes a lot, but by any definition I've past the gray area between the two.

What's your all time favorite joke/gag from a sitcom?
Steve O replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
I know, it's a movie scene not TV. Any time a guy orders a white claw or beer with the name of (or best served with) fruit in it I use the waitresses last line. -
Along with Trump, she laughs at Mike Lindell and Matt Gaetz in the clip. But to answer the question, I doubt any of them are are laughing now. Then again I don't watch the view so I can't be sure. But I'm retired so if any of them need help packing to leave the country I can help.

The American Media Should Not Be Trusted
Steve O replied to SCBills's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Just saw a report on NBC nightly news about a man who randomly knifed 3 people today in NYC, killing 2 and a third in critical condition. The man had 7 prior felony arrests. No mention on the news as to New York's bail reform laws. According to NYC mayor Adams "..."We are still looking over his record, but there's a real question as to why he was still on the street," Adams said. Let me help you with that one Mr. mayor, bail reform isn't working. -
The Crash and Burn Will Not Be Pretty

Why does this statement remind me of the axiom don't cut off your nose despite your face. Guess cliches got to be cliches because they're mostly true. -
Can't argue with that
