  1. Whichever one you do to your old girlfriend's presents and pictures
  2. With Freddie getting old and CJ's contract coming up, if Gavin Grey is still available we need to get him. Plays both ways, gets the most from his teammates, intimidates the opposition, refuses to lose (sorry about the sub-titles)
  3. Re loving Staubach - Jerk! (kidding, kidding. I just always hated the Cowboys)Re Jerry Richardson - I had no idea who Buftex was talking about, thanks for the info. Someone else mentioned him in the comments following the article.
  4. Never heard of her but she was beautiful. She's with her mother now. RIP.
  5. If getting crushed by the Seahawks in the SB included beating NE in the AFC Championship, I'd be okay with that for next year.
  6. So sick of getting torched on third and long that it doesn't even bother me that much any more, just kind of expect it. If it was an easy fix it would have been done by now. We've tried fixing it with the pass rush (Williams and Anderson in 2012), first round corners (Gilmore and McKelvin), run stuffing tackles (Williams and Dareus). Nothing seems to work. To compete in today's NFL we just need to be able to outgun the opposition.
  7. http://wallstcheatsheet.com/sports/the-7-wealthiest-nfl-players-of-all-time.html/?a=viewall&ref=OB No surprises for no's 2-7, number 1 was a total shock. Great football player who made almost all his money in business, not endorsements like everyone else on the list.
  8. At the time I also wanted to stay with the traditional AFC East rivals. In hindsight, the Miami rivalry has lost its luster and lets just say with a few exceptions New England games haven't been much fun either. It would be cool to have division rivals within driving distance (Cinci, Pitt, and Cleveland). Nonetheless, cool that Butler called, then waited for your call back.
  9. Chris Christie agrees with you http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000239207/article/chris-christie-ny-giants-jets-are-new-jersey-teams Excerpt from the above link: "There's nothing left from New York about the Giants or the Jets, except for the name." Bills have been New York's only football team since 1984
  10. When told he was voted the third dirtiest player of all time he responded by saying he was number one among active players
  11. Always thought Arthur Moats was a class act. Wish him well with the Steelers.
  12. read the article 4 times and the comments once...not seeing where the troughs are going away "...Fourteen new restrooms – a nearly 30 percent increase – will be built."
  13. Re the seats - don't know about the Kelly section, but in the McGuire section many of the heating elements no longer work, can't get spare parts for them any longer, possibly just upgrading premium seats to newer modelsRe the restrooms - 30% more is a good start
  14. Hope the renovations include doubling the available restroom facilities
  15. Jets get a 4th and three sixths, Ravens get a third and two fourths http://nfl.si.com/2014/03/24/nfl-compensatory-picks-baltimore-ravens/
  16. With all the post football concussion stories in the press the past several years, nice to see an upbeat post football career story.
  17. Based on the subsequent reviews, filing the lawsuit was a big mistake. Fortunately my cell phone comes equipped with an accurate time telling device so I don't need to get my watch repaired.
  18. He was not a quitter. According to wiki, "On July 27, 2010 Aaron Schobel announced he was 70/30 on returning to the Bills. On August 4, 2010, the Buffalo Bills released Aaron Schobel" Its from wikipedia so it has to be true. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Schobel
  19. Building on this, Thursday night games should be played against a division opponent following the bye week, then play the same team the following week. Home and home, no long rest advantage to any teams.
  20. I'm okay with that
  21. That stinks, I hate spilling my drink.
  22. so is being broke...
  23. Merlin Olsen would disagree. Long after their playing days there is a graveyard scene in a Father Murphy episode. In the graveyard there is a tombstone that reads "CONRAD DOBLER GONE BUT NOT FORGIVEN"That and several other humorous tidbits from this Y2K interview with Dobler http://www.esquire.com/features/what-ive-learned/ESQ1100-NOV_WIL
  24. Just cause it clears up doesn't mean it's gone
