  1. Which leads to the bad case scenario, they don't know what the hell is going on. But I guess we knew that from the audits.
  2. Good case: Pentagon has been lying all along. Bad case: Pentagon doesn't have any idea what's going on. Most likely case: A significant amount of both good and bad case scenarios.
  3. "...as you know, with many of our deployments, numbers will fluctuate from time to time..." You know, 900, 2000, difference is insignificant.
  4. Wonder how much the league will fine him for this
  5. On a message board? Who would have thought!! (sorry, to use your words...I hate to do this, but am compelled.)
  6. Yeah that pretty much made up my list off the top of my head. Maybe add Moon in one or two seasons, but we always managed to get past Houston in the playoffs so on second thought no.
  7. Which is about where he rated against his contemporaries in his prime...actually 3-6 but whatever.
  8. His use of timeouts the last two weeks is a macrocosm of the last 8 years. I freak every time he calls timeout on third or 4th and long and the other team is scrambling. Sean to the rescue, lets call timeout and make sure we have the correct defense called. Last week was there any chance we weren't calling tush push again if we didn't score on it the first time? Lets call timeout to make sure. Who needs 3 anyways. And taking the holding penalty instead of 4th and 7? Sean lost us that game and almost this one. Do you really think Detroit would have run this play on 4th and ten had Sean not called a timeout to make sure we had the correct defense called? (forward to 4:15)
  9. Crap, this might be twice in in the past month (or is it two?) that I've agreed with you. Maybe compromise isn't dead after all.
  10. Only power rankings that matter come out on February 10th.
  11. Sir, are you old enough to have seen OJ play? Only player ever to rush for 2,000 yards in 14 games. Sad the way things turned out.
  12. My first thought listening to the crowd on TV was that this is our first legitimate road game this year.
  13. Well, you can bet the next minor league team in New Jersey will use New Jersey Drones for their team name.
  14. ?????
  15. You forgot something...what a mess
  16. Cuomo said some are the size of a school bus. Heard it on cable news station, has to be true.
  17. You're more consistent than me. During the 70's, 80's, and 90's, yeah, it was whoever was playing the Dolphins. 2000-2019 it was whoever was playing the Patriots. Since 2020 whoever is playing the Chiefs.
  18. The voters look at everything, not just PPP. I think you lost a lot of support with the "poop assessment" thread on OTW.
  19. Saw this on one of the morning news shows yesterday. I'm just going to use the kids swing as a training video. Love the part where his sister makes a cameo appearance.
  20. Agreed. He's a great coach Monday thru Saturday. Sunday's aren't his best days. Taking the holding penalty instead of making them make a 4th down decision cost us valuable seconds, even if they would have gotten the first down. Tush push instead of pass play was just plain stupid. You know, coaching.
  21. SMU. 2 of Bama's losses came to 6-6 teams. The Oklahoma loss wasn't close. Both SMU losses were by 3 points, those teams that had a total of 5 losses. Plus, like KJ says, I don't think the committee wants to discourage teams from playing in conference championship games.
  22. If you're going to insult me please have the decency to use correct grammar. For your sake as well as mine. Good grammar saves lives.
  23. Anyone else catch this or am I the only one who watches network news. Anyways pretty cool. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/bills-rookie-ray-davis-reflects-on-the-brotherly-bond-that-changed-his-life/ar-AA1vq0QW?ocid=BingNewsSerp
  24. I agree, dumb rule. Know what other rule I think is every bit as dumb? The designated hitter rule. Used to enjoy a manager having to make a decision about leaving a pitcher in or pinch hitting for him during a tight game. It was actually first proposed in 1891. Rejected every time it was brought up between then and 1973, when it was given a 3 year trial. Today it is an accepted part of the game. Hope it takes as long to implement the "Golden Bat" as it did to implement the DH rule.
