  2. I remember one year one list had him top 10 underrated, another top 10 overrated
  3. Underrated: Charles Romes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Romes "...playing in every game for the Bills from his rookie season to 1986, starting every game from 1978 forward. Romes logged at least one interception in every year from 1978 to 1986; his 28 career interceptions are fourth in team history..."
  4. While not nearly as dramatic, a few years ago I was behind someone who lived on my track for half a mile. He was missing a break light, so I continued past my house until he pulled in to his driveway 8 or 9 houses past mine. Stayed in the street, opened my passenger window and tried to tell him about his break light. He came in to the street, started pounding on my car yelling at me that I couldn't follow him. I took off. Learned my lesson, no longer stop to help, not even the time I saw a woman on the side of the road with a flat.
  5. Mine healed but it took 9 months. Also slipped at the point of break to where there was 38% connection, guessing screws can minimize that slippage. Of course that was in the 70's in Potsdam.
  6. tried it https://michpics.wordpress.com/tag/edmund-fitzgerald/ did not end well (yes I know it wasn't nearly as big a boat)
  7. Thought you meant the Irondequoit Bay Bridge
  8. He was part of an investing show on Fox News for years, Cashin' in or something like that
  9. You have been around this board for a year now (happy anniversary tomorrow), I bet if you look back, it doesn't even crack the top ten!
  10. You know I don't drink any beer with a name that ends in light (or contains the name of or is best served with fruit)
  11. Don't know if we've lost every game we that we lost the turnover battle, but the second patriots game was the only loss we didn't lose the turnover battle in (1-1 that game)
  12. renewing - Don't know what I'd rather do with 8 Sunday's and 8 extra days of vacation every year (to old to fake it through Monday's any more so I take the day after home games off)
  13. A friend of mine is a huge fan, her daughter gave birth today. She is so excited her grandchild is born on Frankie's 100th.
  14. I'm seeing conflicting things on NFL.com. It doesn't show a Sunday night game, but also states that " Week 17 start time changes could be decided on 6 days notice to ensure a game with playoff implications. So I don't know if this means that the Sunday night game isn't even decided until that week, or that there is no night game but a game can be moved from 1:00 to 4:00 time start with little notice. Right now there are 13 games scheduled for 1:00 and 3 games scheduled for 4:25 start times.
  15. no sunday night game in week 17
  16. Thanks for sending the cheerleaders over! Not sure if I was successful attaching the picture or not. edit: Picture was too big to attach
  17. Reason for the elevated commode has to do with keeping the it above the level of the outdoor sewer
  18. The O's will be across the street from Hammer
  19. He is assistant Head Coach as well as RB coach (whatever that means)
  20. The guy that will be seeing a lot of time if Kelce is out is Brian Parker. He's local to the Rochester area, went to McQuaid and Albany. Had a couple nice blocks against the Lions. Anyways I hope he has a good game in a loss. http://www.kcchiefs.com/team/roster/Brian-Parker/fed955a5-99a1-481e-9f58-06171accd715
  21. While admittedly I didn't read through 4 pages of responses to the topic, I did mention a few times this weekend how we would have been better off without a first round pick in 2014. At least we would have two picks this year who have a chance of getting on the field.
  22. As John Candy points out, Canadian beer sucks
  23. While I wasn't told directly there would be nothing for the pain, my brother (an LPN) told me that what the Dr. meant when he said the stent removal would take place in the office is that there would be nothing for the pain. I'm still holding out hope that there will be. Your Dad was one tough old man.
  24. Speaking of even worse, just found out that the stent removal will be done in the office. It will require both insertion and removal of catheter without anything for pain.
  25. Thanks for the professional insight B-Man. Sounds like quick was the best I could hope for, painless was out of the question. At least I was still out during the insertion process, which I hear is much worse. I was given 8 hours to pee on my own or a cat would be re-inserted, made it with 7 hours to spare. I'll give the entire team a stellar evaluation. Appreciate it.
