  4. Where does she work?
  5. Thanks...quite a bit over my head, the demographic of the article is doctors not patients. Still was able to learn quite a bit from it. Thanks again for the link. Appreciate your sharing of the testimonial. Glad it worked for your daughter. Hope her worst days are behind her and that she'll grow up with no recollection of those days. Thanks
  6. Thank you I will beat it. Got it early. Near 100% chance of dying from something else if I opt for the prostatectomy. Just want to know more about alternatives. Everything I've read on the beam alternative sounds promising but is understandably biased.
  7. Anyone go or know of anyone that went this route for their cancer treatment? Particular interested as it relates to prostate (happy 60th to me) but interested in others as well, positive and especially negative results appreciated. Talked to a few people that went for the prostatectomy but no one who went through beam therapy. All who went through the prostatectomy are doing fine but, while not a vital organ, the prostate sure is useful. We've been together for 60 years and I don't want to say goodbye if alternatives are realistic. Might not be able to check for replies until tomorrow so thanks in advance to all who respond.
  8. HS or college freshman year? I was college freshman 75-76. I've reduced your list to two: Genesis A Trick of the Tail Bruce Springsteen Born to Run If we're talking college freshman year, at least for me smoking pot had more to do with listening to music 24/7 than your list.
  9. How do you turn your lawn mower into a snow blower? Buy her a shovel! (couldn't resist adding it to this thread)
  10. Agreed...reminds me of Derrick Burroughs career ending hit against the Oilers. Derrick was wise enough to hang them up...or maybe he could no longer pass a physical because of the discovery of an undersized neck. He's been in coaching in one form or another for several years now.
  11. Good luck to him
  12. I'd vote for you if you were running this year
  13. Wow was that a good read, thanks.“You want to pay me $100 million to grab the center?”... "“Can’t you just pay someone $300,000 a year to do that?” Sounds like he's doing well know, glad for him.
  14. Unfortunately the Pats will end up getting him for a fourth, just like Moss. That's really the disciplined environment he needs to be in after he gets out of rehab. Buffalo is no place for someone with his demons.
  15. Brave man that John Paulding. Thank you for your service.
  16. Reminds me of Michael "Flathead" Blanchard's obituary that someone posted a few years ago http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/denverpost/obituary.aspx?n=michael-blanchard-flathead&pid=156944598
  17. Unfortunately I do not have the mental wherewithal to devise such a devious scheme
  18. You left some stuff under your seat that was bought at the team store. Will bring it to the next game. Or if you want to wear it stop by the O lot corner of Glen and Abbott (across the street from Hammer's) before the game (you can change in the basement). Steve O
  19. Found myself. My buddy must have been offloading a beer. Fun link, thanks.

  22. Said it was even scarier than the time him and Hillary were under sniper fire in Bosnia.
  23. 1) LeSean McCoy 2) Agree with Dr Who, Caitlyn Jenner 3) Prefontaine 4) Back to back catches by Roland Hooks vs New England 1981 (I didn't leave that game early). The catch before the Hail Mary was one of the best ever. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2011/6/30/2250253/best-moments-in-bills-history-no-21-roland-hooks-hail-mary-catch 5) Have to copy Dr. Who again...conservatives on PBS.
  24. As football season will soon be upon us it is inevitable that another Buffalo (or in my case Rochester) winter isn't far off either. With that in mind, I have some useful advice on how to turn your lawn mower into a snow blower. How you ask? By her a shovel of course.
