  1. Though I love the IPA's they are just too strong for the long hall, especially in the summer. Yuengling has a decent flavor for a lager. Basically, anything that doesn't end in light, has the name of or is best served with a fruit will do.
  2. Not good PR for Dunn...They've lost my business as well over this, and I've been using them for 20 years.
  3. Bartender says "Get the #$%^ out of here"(okay, so I borrowed it from Gran Torino)
  4. So they gave up their second round pick to move up 9 spots. Seems like we gave up a lot more to move up 5 spots.
  5. 85% chance of recovery is the only good news on a day that starts with this and Kiko.
  6. The pistachio is my favorite as a party appetizer and is a healthier alternative than chips and dips, however I use the raw almond as an alternative to croutons in my salads and from what I can see is the healthiest option.
  7. I'll go with Glenn Parker, guard from the super bowl years. Also played in one with the Giants.
  8. Poster child for the cliche "the more I practice, the luckier I get" A rookie once told him he wished he could have his work ethic, to which Tony replied he wouldn't get it by wishing for it. RIP
  9. I remember Bruce Smith, when discussing the rapid increase in players' salaries, saying how they all knew they were sacrificing 20-25 years of their lives, and that they should be compensated for it. Guess that's one of the reasons why he is never mentioned in these lawsuits. That and the fact that he delivered a lot more concussions than he received.
  10. http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/_/id/10990605/sean-lee-dallas-cowboys-injured-otas Tough break. Given his history of injuries and the 10M signing bonus he just received, may want to consider other career options when/if he recovers.
  11. I'm thinking either gridlocked or do nothing has to be worked into this....
  12. Where in the article does it say anything about her being an addict?Looks like you did not read the article or my response accurately. At no place in the article was the girl crying for help. She DID NOT HAVE AN ALCOHOL PROBLEM as a sophomore. She struggled with school. The school did its job, she was graduating and going on to college. I'll grant you that getting into the Pharmacy business is not a great career choice for an addict, but there is no mention of prior substance problem (neither alcohol or otherwise) in the article. Unless you are making the jump that drinking at the prom is an indication of addiction.
  13. Congrats! Please share your secret about getting your son to leave home the same year he graduated college!!
  14. Was at the game. At half time, put my head down in my lap, looked up at my brother and said, only half kiddingly "this could be our finest hour" My eyes got a little wet reading your rehash of Van's game call.
  15. Take time to grieve. When the time is right, pick up another. Consider a rescue dog.
  16. The article states she "...had struggled with school as a sophomore...", not alcohol. It went on to say that she had made it through and was planning on going to college to become a pharmacy technician. Sounds like the school gave her the help she needed, not only to make it through HS but to put her on the path to a future. Schools' job is to promote learning, too often they are also expected to play a roll in parenting. This certainly is not something the school should be blamed for. Tragic result regardless.
  17. I never knew Gill Byrd was his father. Interesting that he played 10 years and never made the pro bowl until his last two. Guessing JB made more last year than his father made in his entire career!
  18. Flash forward a couple years, there was an interview with Kelly talking about playing for Oakland but snickering and saying that Buffalo still owned the rights to him. Then Al Davis is asked about his chances of acquiring him to which he responds that Ralph Wilson still hasn't forgiven him for Daryl Lamonica.
  19. Manziel, Fuller. Think Mack will be slightly above average, worthy of a second or third round pick, not a top 5.
  20. Hope you're right and I'm wrong. Will gladly change my mind on the pick/trade if it works out like the Bennett trade, which I was as upset about as this trade.
  21. Thought I was the only one that felt like this. Wanted Aaron Donald at 9 (even if Watkins was still on the board.)
  22. ? 7 good years and a 4th (or maybe 3rd) is not great return on a 7th round pick? Take it any day!
