  1. must be the roster move they weren't gong to make at this time by moving Glenn to IR
  2. My urologist "suggested" I stop drinking alcohol and caffeine for a while. My reaction was I drink 4 things-Beer, wine, coffee, and water. He told me I can still drink water. Or herbal tea. That was on my 61st birthday 4 weeks ago today. Literally drank tea (herbal of course) at the last two pre and post game tailgates. Suffice it to say tea is not my cup of tea. Hopefully he gives me a green light to at least drink alcohol when I see him next week. 60's have been great, can hardly wait for my 70's!
  3. Makes sense to me. Appreciate the insight!
  4. First ever Atlanta Falcon http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory/atlanta-falcons-great-tommy-nobis-dies-74-51772293
  5. Thanks for the info. Hope the open air / commitment to tailgating parts are accurate.
  6. yes they are yes to the different tires in the winter. Don't know how long you've been gone
  7. What shocked me was how totally unprepared the maintenance staff was for the game. Leaf blowers to clear the yardage markers every five yards? What happened to those huge sweepers on the front of tractors? Thawed out yet? Just finished pushing cars out of the lot! (kidding)
  8. Game was a blast. Drive back to Rochester not so much.
  9. Has to do with preparation, knowing where your hot receiver is going to be and him always being there. Reason he's the best is because he works the hardest.
  10. I was just scanning through to see if anyone else felt like this. This was at best just a terrible call. More likely a home call, or a ref trying to bail out one of his fellow refs (away from the camera in the OP's video there was about to be an argument between McD and a ref who called out of bounds, McD saying he was down by contact.) Either way players can be fined for blatant targeting hits, refs should be suspended for blatant missed calls of this magnitude.
  11. So sorry for your loss. Time will ease your pain
  12. Seriously? That's great. Out of curiosity do you do it in less than an hour? Great even if the answer is no.
  13. As to the number of people directly affected you are of course correct. As to the mindset of the community, the effects were similar.
  14. 1) First home game after terrorist attack. You can't compete with the energy the home team gets off that. As I said in another thread, refer to the 2006 home opener for New Orleans, their first game back in the super dome after Katrina.
  15. From the Bills opening drive I had one thought. It reminded me of the September 25, 2006 game of New Orleans against Atlanta. This was a Monday nite game, the first game back in the super dome after Katrina. NO blew out Atlanta. They never had a chance. My one thought is you don't want to be the first home opponents after a natural disaster or terrorist attack.
  16. You forgot to add that he was excused from practice "for personal reasons" following Alabama homecoming week.
  17. Jacksonville just traded away a sixth round pick for one...
  18. Thanks for sharing. Hope you're retired, or at least took today off. Live anywhere near South Hadley? I have family there.
  19. Agree...When the Bills are a perennial playoff team they can have trap games. When you haven't been in the playoffs for the entire century, you aren't good enough to have trap games.
  20. Anyone know what he died of? The Wiki link posted by the OP said "died unexpectedly." RIP
  21. Two words. J P Losman. Oh wait, that's three words and it didn't work out so well. OK, how about Samuel Watkins? Oh wait, never mind, I give up.
  22. Actually that was the best part of that draft. Donte Whitner, Ashton Youboty, and Ko "I play for the Buffalo Bills and I'm worth millions" Simpson were all drafted ahead of KW along with McCargo.
