  1. Finally someone half noticed. Reverse the your and you're in the topic.
  2. How long does it take Dad does to do the dishes? No time at all, that's Mom's job. How long does it take Dad to change a light bulb? No time at all, if Mom can't change it herself she can do the dishes in the dark.
  3. Wow time flies. Can't stand Meet the Press since he died. Named his son after former Buffalo Bison / Rochester Red Wing Luke Easter.
  4. Let me get it started, in no particular order Home run throwback forward latteral Drafting C J Spiller at 10 with Lynch and Jackson already on the roster Trading up for (insert name - Mcargo, Losman, Watkins, hopefully Allen doesn't get added to the list) Trading up and taking T J Graham in the third when everyone, including the Seahawks, thought for sure Bills would take Russell Wilson. Guess this could go in the above item but thought it was worth its own line. Just give it to him (one ref to another for a first down against the Pats that cost us a home playoff game against the Dolphins. Clearly out of bounds, no replay at the time) Not going for it on fourth and four against the Saints, only to go for it on fourth and 20 next possession. While we're on the subject of Jauron, "It's a tough league to get a win in"
  5. Was thinking the same thing. Coveted award, no one wants to be on the list of finalists.
  6. I remember going to a Thursday nite game in 81 against the Eagles, then going to a buddy's place in Dunkirk and playing pong unitl 5:00 am (or maybe it was Fredonia. Surprise surprise, Bills lost the game) Anyways RIP.
  7. I like this much more. In troubled years of the next generation, many times Bills games were the only non-confrontational time we had. And if the opposite happens and McDermott and/or Beane move on, they can't use it with a new team.
  8. My thoughts then and now? Back in the 70's and 80's I loved boxing, but I wasn't very proud of the fact that I loved to watch something so barbaric. Now I just don't watch it.
  9. yup...you can tell the high maintenance posters, they order daiquiris. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  10. Kicker should be Hauschka
  11. Kind of like using a fan belt designed for a 4 cylinder passenger car on an Indy race car. At 61 I'm taking up the yoga thing. Don't need to wait an hour or two until I can move around in the morning any more. Eye candy is is a nice fringe benefit.
  12. Speaking of magic, my eyes just started watering for no reason.
  13. I guess you missed my point. At least we got something productive by letting him go. Mistake to do it certainly. On the level of Mike Williams, spending 2 firsts on Watkins when we could have stood pat and had OBJ or Aaron Donald, Maybin instead of Orakpo, etc. etc? I don't think so.
  14. Actually, the bills did re-sign him. Did not renegotiate after that. We did pick up Eric Wood with the pick that we traded him for, so it wasn't as big a mistake as others on the list.
  15. My father, a WWII vet himself, just turned 100 in January. Sent out 40 invitations in the hopes that maybe 10-20 people would show up and he would get a bunch more cards. Ended up with 70 people showing up. Fortunately all responded so it wasn't a surprise...I'm coming and bringing so and so. Mind you Mom and Dad still in the family home, and this was January. Fortunately one of the few semi warm days in January, might have reached high 30's that day. Was able to put a couple propane heaters on the porch and accommodate everyone. Anyways, I'm sure if Nick would send out a few invitations, Ike would get a lot of visitors. Apparently 100 is a big deal.
  16. Years later, when the USFL was folding and Kelly was coming to the NFL, there was talk of Oakland being a place he would like to play. Al Davis said it would never happen because "Ralph Wilson still hasn't forgiven me for Daryl Lamonica" Part of a draft special showed the Seattle war room before that the Russell Wilson pick. It showed Buffalo trading up and everyone in the Seattle war room was convinced they had lost out on Wilson because it was common knowledge the Bills liked him. Painful to watch even years after the pick.
  17. Me too. I don't even know if EDM is a musical group or recreational drug.
  18. He was a coaching intern for Clemson last year. Don't know about now.
  19. It's great that he realized how to make 12M last a lifetime. How often do you hear about athletes who have made way more than that being broke? Peerless Price, Mike Tyson, Allen Iverson, TO, Christian Laettner just off the top of my head. I've always thought that I can see every million up to the 5 making a difference in my life. After that it would just be making a difference in persons I know lives.
  20. Bookend DE = Michael Bennett Jr. (3x pro bowler, super bowl ring)
  21. I've had enough of QB's with accuracy issues "...Area code accuracy -- short throws are often low or wide, preventing receivers from making a play after the catch. Deep ball accuracy is uneven as well..." http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/ej-manuel?id=2539228 That being said, EJ may have been the best quarterback to come out of the 2013 draft
  22. actually it probably is, or at least close
  23. Check out the TD pass he makes for Houston starting at 3:42 of the video. No wonder that league didn't last, stands are almost empty. Compare that with the game day crowd of what I'm guessing was his first home game for the Bills starting at 4:15.
  24. A friend suggested I fly to NC as the flight it is only $60 round trip. Told her I don't fly. She told me my chances of dying in a car crash are astronomically higher than dying in a plane crash. I told her duh...just finished telling you I don't fly, if course my chances of dying in a car crash are higher. Unless the plane crashes into me my chances of dying in a plane crash are virtually zero. Some people.
  25. Immediately thought of this when I saw the topic. Loved it. "Bears derive their name from a football team in Chicago"
