Panthers DE Bryan Cox, Jr. in trouble
Steve O replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He didn't like us much either (by "us" I mean Bills fans.) -
Selling auto insurance. Hope things work out for him.

So here is some useless trivia about why the keyboard is designed the way it is. It is actually designed to slow down typing to prevent jamming of the keys. Common letter combinations come from different hands. 7 of the ten most commonly used letters must be reached for. If the keyboard was designed today it would be far different.

Well, this is the one that immediately came to mind when reading the OP. One of my friend's kids was a victim: http://www.nbcnews.com/id/19764563/ns/us_news-life/t/texting-blame-crash-killed-teens/#.XVMMguhKjIU Three items caught my eye on the link below: https://www.edgarsnyder.com/car-accident/cause-of-accident/cell-phone/cell-phone-statistics.html "21 percent of teen drivers involved in fatal accidents were distracted by their cell phones." "Texting while driving is 6x more likely to cause an accident than driving drunk." "1 out of every 4 car accidents in the United States is caused by texting and driving." So, to answer to your highlighted questions, yes.

Therein lies the problem. Only takes a moment to get in an accident. Don't think I've ever driven at .13, but I have on occasion driven when perhaps I shouldn't have been. Not saying I'm a better driver when impaired, just saying I do pay closer attention to the rules of the road. No roles through stop signs, slow down for the yellow instead of trying to beat it. Hands at 10 and 2, cruise set at 2 miles an hour over the speed limit, eyes focused on my surroundings, not on my phone. Most of the alcohol related accidents I know about are "drunk and stupid" accidents...running stop signs, going 60 in a 30, wrong way down a one way. Over the last several years I've heard way more about texting related accidents than alcohol.

How many Bills games have you been to
Steve O replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What an awesome experience for your first home game. Everything was electric, perfect fall day, last second win, new quarterback that didn't choke on the final drive. I was so psyched when we drafted EJ and was sure this game proved me right as all my friends gave me grief for loving the pick. Unfortunately it turned out to be his one shinning moment as a Bill. 200 give or take for me, including all home playoff games. I also was one of the million that stayed for the entire comeback game. -
"...I attended the Jags-Ravens game at M&T Bank in which Ravens fans didn’t even give me ####, they were merely perplexed of the existence of Jags fans outside of the armpit of America which is Jacksonville, Florida. One guy asked me for my autograph cause I was the first Jags fan he’d ever met."

If the question is about music it's is a close call. If the question is about whose ex's I'd prefer, not a close call.

Well, he certainly can't be blamed for YOUR bad grammar. Once again, your and you're are not interchangeable

Dumbest rule ever to "speed up play" is to make give players the option to leave the pin in the hole on the green. Half the guys I play with want it out, half in. All of this taking it out then putting it back in takes time.

Yup! Go back to leather helmets without faceguards players will think twice about how hard they hit and where.

Here is the thing...as my brother has often said, it is unlikely that there will be an official removal of the name from the WOF. However, if someone were to break in and remove it, it would not go back up.

What gives me hope is the following quote: "The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers." While there is some dispute as to the actual origin of the quote, it is commonly attributed to Socrates. So, young people have always been as you describe - self observed, lazy, rude, etc. And always will be.

McCoy pays Philly off-duty officer 55k from 2016 bar fight

Not only that, still can't figure out how a police officer can afford, what was it, $300 or $400 a bottle champagne... -

How frequently do you go to beaches?
Steve O replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
30 years ago we would play 2-man volleyball almost every day at Charlotte beach in Rochester. As others have mentioned, almost no beach left either at Charlotte or Durand, and what there is isn't very inviting. -
Here's 2 by Randall Cunningham, a 91 yard punt against the Giants and a 95 yard TD pass in to the wind against the Bills. Stopped drinking during the game after the TD play. Was in the aisle waiting to sprint to the can, saw Bruce coming free towards Cunningham in the end zone, made my move to the can expecting to see the score 26-9 when I got back to my seat. Instead, it's 24-16.

Ryan Leaf Hired by ESPN as College Football Analyst
Steve O replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Glad for Ryan. Thought he was going down the same path as Art Schlichter. Actually, he was going down the same path, Ryan just got off of it. Art never did. Was going to provide a link to Art's story but anyone who's interested can just do a search on his name. Currently in jail until 2020. He's a former Bill FWIW, though he never played a game as a Bill. Was cut before the 86 season with the arrival of Jim Kelly. -
Name some of your life rules/policies
Steve O replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Don't drink any beer that ends in light, has the name of or is best served with fruit When it comes to golf, if you ask if you should hit a provisional, you already have your answer It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission -
Just wondering what we'll have to give up to move from 32 to 7
