Is it absurd? Sure. Greatest absurdity? JD, it isn't even a semi finalist. A partial list off the top of my head: Defunding the police. Performing sex changes on teenagers While we're on the subject, letting biological males compete against biological females EV mandates Not inviting conservative family members to holiday festivities, like the View said to do. Using the word partner instead of husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend. Changing the color of Park Ranger Uniforms because current color can frighten illegal aliens as it's similar to the color of border patrol and I.C.E. agents. (I kid you not. Don't know where I saw this one.) My apologies if the highlighted was a rhetorical question.

Does Snickers sell double the amount because it takes up 3 of the selections or does Snickers get 3 selections because it sells double the amount?🤔 Something to keep me up nights when I'm finished pondering what came first, the chicken or the egg?🤔

Video: RFK makes Dem senators look like fools!
Steve O replied to JaCrispy's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Took a while, but I just did. He seems to think the data is meaningless because the forum for the data is open, not a scientific study. -

Correct, vaers is an open forum. It aggregates all information, and the information is reported voluntarily, not in a 'scientific study' manner. Still, there is a common factor in that information, that being people who had adverse effects following vaccines. I personally feel that the information gathered and quantified by openvaers is eye opening even if not done scientifically. You are entitled to think that it is meaningless that well over 20x more adverse effects from vaccines were reported to vaers in 2021 than in any previous year. -

Anyone who had the vaccine was the test group, anyone who thinks due diligence was done before releasing them is kidding themselves. The results can be found below, pretty eye opening. Data is taken from the government's own vaers world wide website. https://openvaers.com/ -

That's a good point. But we don't need another unqualified person in the position. Hey, I like most of Jr's ideas, but also respect Bill, who researches these things way more than I do. -

I might have to side with Bill O'Reilly on this one, who says Jr. isn't qualified for HHS secretary but would make a good nutrition czar. -
Allen suffered a wrist injury against KC, won’t go to Pro Bowl
Steve O replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just looked at the field, Josh isn't playing. Cashmere Keith Mitchell, who has been his partner the last 3 years, is playing with some guy named David Wilkinson. -
Not even supported by herbal folklore. The theory is that it improves the immune system, which helps in preventing getting a cold. Once you have one, it doesn't really help in shortening the duration. PS Probably best not to argue this point with your wife.

Play another game Play in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am alongside Cashmere Keith. Hmmmm. Tough call. -
re What are you doing to get out of it? - One day of mourning, that's it. Ghosted everyone yesterday. Didn't answer any calls or return any texts. Tried checking in here but was just too down so one comment on the bad spot and checked out. Paid my taxes since the day was going the suck anyways, no sense in letting that ruin another. Listened to sad songs for a couple hours. Guess what, I'm tired of feeling down. Life can be put in two categories, important stuff and unimportant stuff. While football is at the top of my list of unimportant stuff, that's where it should be. If you've let it sneak in to the important stuff category, time to reevaluate. Good lord willing my aunt, the last survivor of the previous generation, turns 100 next month. Both my parents lived past that age as well. Health, family, having a few bucks left at the end of the month rather than a few days left at then end of your money, those are the important categories. re It feels pointless to continue as a fan. Like life itself, being a Bills fan is about the journey, not the destination. This season was a fun ride while it lasted. Way more ups than downs. I get that the final down was pretty low. Time to move on. You'll be fine, you'll be back.

Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season
Steve O replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was shouting at the TV when I saw this and still whining to my brother about it this morning. The guy with the view of Josh's back overruled the guy that had the view of the ball. WTF? -
Your wife has good taste. Sadly I don't eat them any more, cut way back on sugar once my A1C hit 5.7 which is the bottom of the pre diabetes range. Butterfingers have more sugar than sugar! Down to 5.5 now.

No need to go. This is the winner. You should change the topic to "second best candy bar in the world."

Covid Origins Cover Up: covid.gov
Steve O replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
And how about the "common sense" thing. Which makes more sense: A pandemic that originated in a town where the virus that caused the pandemic was caused by a leak in the lab where the virus was being studied. or A pandemic that originated in a town where the virus that caused the pandemic was being studied occurred naturally. Total coincidence that likely patient zero was a lab employee. Hmmmm??? -
Actually I didn't know that. He's signed now though.

Not so odd. I mean, the writing was on the wall the second Dorsey became available.

I have a friend who figured out how to do it. He has a TV, a couch, a refrigerator, and a wife. All 4 work.

re They love coaching. It is their life, for better or worse. -agreed Plus, they get a few months off in the offseason. -they get a few months of 8-10 hour days. There is no offseason for head coaches. Or players for that matter. Steve Spurrier and Nick Saban tried coaching in the NFL with college coach hours. Didn't work out so well.

73 years young. Better that than 43 years old.

Actually Washington, in his farewell address, not only had a clue but actually warned against how far down the craphole things would go when warning against the party system. I've deleted a lot in the quotes below but the entire address is easy enough to find on the world wide web. "Let me now take a more comprehensive view, and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally... The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which finds a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions..." Almost sounds prophetic.

Face it, most of us would rather have had Andrews hold on to the conversion pass and take our chances with Josh and a minute and a half and overtime assured than take our chances with an on-sides kick with Baltimore only needing a field goal to win. Seriously, was there anyone who was not holding their breath before the ref signaled our ball? Being a Bills fan has its consequences. Never relaxing until the final gun is one of them.

Good idea. When arguing discussing with idiots they can often drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

It took 35 years, but finally, another franchise gets to feel our pain

A few of us have expressed that we would have felt better with the ball and 1:33 left than we did with the onside kick. -

If any fan base has endured as much heartbreak as the Bills it's the Browns. Like the Bills, 4 years in a row ending just before our super bowl run. Starting in the 86 season which ended in Denver with a 97 yard broncos touchdown drive which became known as The Drive, The Byner fumble you mentioned, again against the Broncos following the 87 season, a one point loss to the Oilers in the 88 wild card game or they would have come here for the divisional game, and losing again against the Broncos in the AFC championship game following the Harmon drop. Then they move to Baltimore and win a super bowl a few years later, pretty sure it was before getting a new Browns team.
