The 5 worst trades in Bills History?
Steve O replied to BF_in_Indiana's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't forget we also got San Francisco's 2nd round pick in 1980 which we used on Joe Cribbs, who had a few good seasons for the Bills before bolting for the USFL. -
Expectations for Shelton......

? Leon Gray retired in 1983, was not part of Eric Dickerson trade. Gregg Bell was.Leon Gray -
Holy cow, look at the time. Gotta get to the gym. Did we lose an hour somewhere?
-
Agreed, he makes way to much to have a good second half of the season.
-
Do what you want at center and with the left side. Please don't mess with the right side (if it ain't broke, don't fix it!)

Here are the 2nd round draft picks for the past 15 years that the bills have had a pick in that round (no second round pick in 04 or 89) 03 Chris Kelsay 02 Josh Reed, Ryan Denney 01 Aaron Schobel, Travis Henry 00 Travares Tillman 99 Peerles Price 98 Sam Cowart (no first round pick) 97 Marcellus Wiley 96 Gabe Northern 95 Todd Collins 94 Bucky Brooks, Lonnie Johnson, Sam Rogers 93 John Parrella 92 James Patton 91 Phil Hansen 90 Carwell Gardner 89 No first or second, Don Beebe was the bills first pick, third round 88 Thurman Thomas (no first round pick) 88 amd 98 with no first round picks the scouts found studs in the second, didn't do bad without a first or second in 89 either. It looked as though we wouldn't have a first round pick in 03 until a pre draft trade sent Price to Atlanta for their first round pick. Collectively the scouts get an A for their first picks in those years. For the remainder of the second round picks its a generous C. Hope they do as good a job this year as in the others that we haven't had a first round pick. For those who don't remember the bills traded the 88 & 89 first round, 89 second round, plus Gregg Bell for Cornellius Bennet. The 98 first and fourth round picks were traded for Rob Johnson (thanks for the reminder). The 03 first round pick was traded for Drew.

Improvement for 6 or so teams?
Steve O replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. Once the season starts, somone's starting running back is going to get injured. At that point Henry won't be a big hit to that team's cap and will fill a need, should be worth a second rounder. -
Went to the game with my father on his 73rd birthday (that makes today his 87th)

48 a very young 48

Great game. Thought Iowa blew it not taking the time out after the next to last play, but it worked out okay.

What's the best Christms Gift you received?
Steve O replied to theesir's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bill's hat, Bill's beer coozie, and what I thought was the receipt. "Steve O, take another look at the receipt" - ticket in the Paul Mcguire section to Sunday's game! -
What we'll probably get for T. Henry
Steve O replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Won't get much for a trade prior to the draft, however someone is going to go down after the season starts and prior to the trade deadline in October. Might get a third rounder under that scenario. -
Not that its worth anything but for those who have forgot, the Jags acquired him with the first round pick they got from us for RJ

Good Lord, The Bills Considered Haslett !
Steve O replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is a reason the Saints have almost always been terrible, that there teams always seem to quit. Not from lack of talent. Ever been to New Orleans? Almost impossible to focus on football for an entire season living in that atmosphere. Haslett was a good coordinator at Pittsburgh, and has had as much success at New Orleans as anyone (just my impression, don't have the stats in front of me to support that) -

Of course i also am planning on starting to excersize, Don't plan to start exercising, START!! Find a time that fits into your routine. If you're a morning person, work out first thing. If you're not a morning person, don't make that your time for exercise, you'll never last more than a couple weeks. You'll find the meal that corresponds to your exercise routine is smaller. I work out during my lunch hour (and a half) every day. My lunch is a salad and yogurt, piece of fruit for a snack in the afternoon. If you're not as fortunate as me to have the luxury of a long lunch, and you're not a morning person, work out as soon as work is over. Don't wait until after dinner, it won't last long (as with trying to work out in the morning if you're not a morning person). This time of year is especially tough to lose for 2 reasons: 1) Its cold. Your body's natural defense to being cold is fat. The way it tries to add fat is by making you hungry. 2) The holidays. Darn near impossible to resis pumpkin pie and xmas cookies. So...don't beat yourself up if you don't meat an arbitrary goal by Jan 15th. More important to be on a road to good health. The best way is to eat better and exercise. Oh, by the way, don't try to get in olympic shape the first week. Think about how long it took to get you where you're at, probably take more than a couple months to get to where you want to be. -
Tough to get happy after reading that.

Maybe Willis turns this team completely around! 114065[/snapback] Willis is 15-0 over the last 15 games that he's started and finished!

(OT) How did you find this board?

There was a link to it from Steve's Bill's site (now Billsdaily.com) -
My crown lengthening took 1 visit, 1 hour. 2 follow ups, 5 minutes each. If crown buildup is the same as crown lengthening, sounds like your wife got scammed. I was quoted the price over the phone before my first appointment, @ $650 of which I got @ $425 back. They also told me what to expect with the 1 visit and 2 follow ups and never deviated from what they told me on the initial call.
