  1. There is only one WR on the team that Josh has thrown a regular season pass to. He will have 10 INTS by week 5.
  2. Can't think of anything in the world I could care less about.
  3. The take-home lesson here is: spread the ball out, Josh! Don't let any one WR put up big numbers, or we're toast.
  4. Classy move cutting Kyron Brown early so he will be able to sign with a contender.
  5. Sean McDermott would absolutely kick my ass, then he would take my lunch money and wrap my undies around my head. I doubt I could get anywhere near him.
  6. Yes, love him or hate him, Diggs was a bona fide baller, and there is not one of those in this WR group. Really, there isn't (yet) one for Josh to throw to at any position. We have nothing but hope at this point. An old familiar feeling.
  7. And not to take any of the shine off it, because it was great to watch, but they had a pretty soft schedule that year.
  8. That was 1990-91. 13-3; The Chiefs clobbered them 33-6, but the other two losses were 3 points each, one in OT.
  9. I'm never not excited for the season, even going back to the drought days. I have nothing personally invested in it, I just want to see how the Bills do. Each year brings new players and different story lines. And now that we have Josh Freaking Allen, every year is legitimately exciting. I say to the OP: Put things in their proper perspective, and just be a fan. Maybe the Bills suck this year. But who cares? It doesn't affect our lives at all. At least, it shouldn't.
  10. Remember that 'we don't have positions' on the Buffalo Bills. Joe Andreessen will make the team as a WR, mark my words.
  11. I hear people say this every year, and it's so dumb. You don't 'get injuries out of the way'. They just keep happening, regardless of whether or not they have already happened. In fact, the impact of injuries on a team is bound to be worse if they happen early, because the affected players are likely to play hurt and get even more hurt later. There is no annual NFL injury cap, where once you reach it your players no longer get hurt. Nope, they just keep getting hurt.
  12. Going to be a lot of 2-TE sets and RB screens for the Bills this September. The WR cupboard is bare.
  13. Today, probably not. But ask me again in about 6 weeks.
  14. I don't know about Bass.... Yes, 3 for 3 but they were chip shots and two went in at funny angles. That almost seems to be how he prefers to kick them - Is it just me, or does he almost never kick the ball straight ahead? It's terrifying.
  15. YESSSSSSSSSS!!!
  16. Oh well, I wish him a full recovery. A shame it didn't work out, but at least he wasn't being counted on to produce big things this year.
  17. He got Juju eyeball.
  18. I'll try anything once.
  19. No colors for Keon Coleman. Dooooomed?
  20. You can't compare the stats to today's QBs, but it's fair to compare the accolades. A 2-time AFL MVP and 5x first team All-Star equivalent today would be paid like a top-5 franchise QB.
  21. I agree that last year the Bills were very exposed by rolling with Kyle Allen as the sole backup. That was bad. But Trubisky is about as good as you're realistically going to acquire/afford. There are better backups out there, for sure, but it's not like you just go to Target and pick out your favorite one to bring home. The one thing they haven't done is draft a project QB who slides into round 4-5, and see if he develops. But that just seems like a stupid and risky way to burn a draft pick when the team has many other needs. It also leaves you looking for that Trubisky-type for a year or two, anyway.
  22. Dan pouty-face Marino Bill classic 80's movie d-bag jock Romanowski Joe narcissist Burrow Michael hookers-n-blow Irvin I hated a lot of the dynasty Pats, too, but I feel like that's just sour grapes. I guess Irvin is sour grapes, too, but he was/is a bona fide tool.
  23. Found this pic of Javon Solomon at practice.
  24. Marshall Faulk for me. I always thought he was the best RB ever. Not a popular opinion, but watch his highlight reel. He didn't just juke and jive to get out of tackles, he made guys miss by five yards. HIs vision and ability to follow it to open space were unreal. And he was also one of the best WR on his team.
