I hate to say it, but it looks like it will be good for the Bills to win one more. They can probably manage a few selective rest games for banged-up starters who have competent backups, but I don't see them benching all the 1s until the #2 seed is safe. Josh is playing until then, too. Hopefully the Jets are playing for their draft pick this weekend and we can earn a bye week for the starting lineup.

If playing Elam in week 17 and 18 improves his game and helps Rasul heal up without costing the Bills playoff position, then why not give him some more snaps. But at this point, I don't think he's going to get any better. Also, I picture Aaron Rodgers exploiting him relentlessly this weekend.

Alex van Pelt has an exciting rookie quarterback to work with in New England, so I'm told.
-
It looked to me like Maye was throwing Elam's way all game. When a rookie QB is picking on you...

What do you mean it hasn't worked? The Bills are 11-3 and had the AFC East in the bag by week 14. Allen is the odds-on favorite for MVP. Great signing if you ask me!

By "go coach", he could have meant, "take up a career in coaching".

Somebody please tell me it is not possible for Tyreek Hill to get cut and sign with the Chiefs right now.
-
Because the Bills are so stacked that even proven players like Samuel can't get snaps.

Best individual player season in Bills history?

Sorry to say it's OJ, and it could be that way for a very long time. -
As of today, it's still Bruce and will be until (a) Josh wins a SB, or (b) Josh continues to play at his current level for just a couple more years. I think in the long run, it will be Josh no matter what.
-
Hopefully they will give Milano some rest during this final stretch of very winnable games.

Last two games prove Allen deserved a dome

Last two games proved Allen deserved an MVP crown on his dome. -
Around the NFL Week 15 (no Bills talk in this thread please)

And the Chiefs will win yet another clunker. Help me remember a team winning this many games while being so mediocre. I think the Bears had a one year wonder team about 8-10 years ago? -
It’s been 15 years since anyone has enjoyed a Sabres game. Excepting their opponents, of course.

Opinions on this wonderful 2024 Bills season at 10-3

I am on the record as saying they would not do much this season. I have been pleasantly surprised up to this point, and I hope they can bring a playoff game or two to Buffalo now. That being said, just the fact that they won the division already makes this a much better season than I was anticipating. It's all gravy for me. -
12/8/24 Game 14 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Rams post game Thread

Bad clock management at the end, but the real story was that the D laid an egg tonight. Plain and simple. They sucked. -
Yeah, but this is Buffalo. More likely, the stars are aligning for the most devastating heartbreak in Bills history.

Not the best roster, but the best team, yes.

OT: what did you think of the hit on Lawrence?
skibum replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stupid hit and worthy of a fine and a suspension? For sure. Intentional? I really like to think not, but who knows. It would take a special kind of sociopath to do something like that with full intent to injure. I just think he was going for a tackle that didn't need to be made in the first place, and that resulted in a very dangerous play. Not malicious, but punishably stupid. -
While Pro Bowl for Damar is a stretch, he deserves a lot of credit. A lot of fans here thought his best outcome would be making the practice squad. And yet, here he is, starting every week on one of the league's best defenses. He has been a steady presence, has made some big plays, and has shown he can be a legit starter in the NFL after years of living on the bubble. That alone is pretty incredible, let alone that he is doing all that after dying on the field. I say eff it, let him go to the Pro Bowl. It's not like a Rory Fitzpatrick situation at all. Damar can play.
