  1. I just assumed he was more of a lunch pail guy. With a high motor. Not sure why.
  2. You can always count on the Dolphins. Mediocrity throughout the decades!
  3. No. Not at all. Only similarities are: - Both are tall - Both can throw hard And thats about it.
  4. Does anybody think benching Phillips and Murphy made the team better last night? Because I don't.
  5. Don't forget about Alexander. With Milano out now, the unit as a whole is a shadow of what it was last year.
  6. I guess I'm not seeing the benefit of benching Phillips and Murphy. Is this defense better off without them? Doesn't look like it to me.
  7. I bet he would do it for $4-5 million. He could possibly make more elsewhere, but he is filthy rich already, loves Buffalo, and probably won't be playing much.
  8. If a WR group were a hockey team, the Bills would be rolling four lines.
  9. Imagine the big runs he will have now that defenses are fearing the throw a lot more.
  10. Speaking of great blocks, Knox had a real corker on the Davis touchdown.
  11. I think it's fair to say he was a riskier pick than the others at the time, because he needed more development and the time commitment that goes with that; and even after all the investment, there is no guarantee it's going to pay off. There is a lot of pressure now to get instant results out of your high draft picks.
  12. The best part isn't his numbers, it's the quality of the catches he's making. The dude is showing some serious skill!
  13. Pleasant Surprises: - Allen to Diggs looking like they have played together for years. - Tyler Kroft and all the other tight ends not named Dawson Knox making big plays in the Red Zone. - O-Line play has been mostly stellar when not facing Aaron Donald. Disappointments: - Tremaine Edmunds. Will the light bulb ever go on for this guy? He is never in the right place at the right time. - Defense in general has been spotty. - Rookies excepting Gabe Davis, though it is early and there was no preseason.
  14. You couldn't even argue that they didn't have enough video evidence to overturn the call of INT on the field. It was just a garbage call that should have been overturned, and it makes me feel totally fine with the crap PI call that basically sealed the game for the Bills.
  15. No way that's a pick. Jump ball at most, which goes to the offense if I'm not mistaken.
  16. Week 2 was a sick-point-sick on the Sickter Scale.
  17. Who cares, it didn't affect the outcome. Bad calls are a part of the game. Instant replay is the worst thing that ever happened to sports. But it wouldn't be that difficult to rig the goalposts with lasers that could detect anything breaking the plane. It's the same technology that prevents your garage door from crushing your cat.
  18. Miami is a team on the rise right now. Yes, they are trotting out Ryan Fitzpatrick to start the season, but we all know he can win 6-7 games before the wheels fall off. By then, Tua could be ready to take over. They have what it takes to pull off a winning record, at least.
  19. This is the best team the Bills have fielded in 25 years, so I am more excited about watching them play than maybe ever. I think we all need the distraction of sports now more than ever as well. Tempering my enthusiasm, however, is the thought that the season will probably be over within three weeks of it starting. We have seen multiple COVID cancellations in baseball - how are they going to play football games without outbreaks? I just don't see it going very far. I hope nobody dies.
  20. Glad it's not Lamar Jackson.
  21. A lot of teams will be starting JAGs at a lot of positions this year. The good news is that there is more talent than opportunity out there, so I think it will all even out and things will be fine.
  22. Ha ha, Kordell Stewart. Looks like his QB rating was below the Kordoza line in 1998. And Rob Johnson had pretty much the highest rating in the league.
