Everybody knows Wegmans stole their whole sandwich game from Dibella's. I think they may actually pay a licensing fee for it.

NFLPA initiating investigation into Tua’s concussion protocol
skibum replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why is everyone so certain that Tua was concussed on Sunday? I have had back pain that has literally knocked me to my knees, and I have never been tackled by a 300 lb man. -
Chiefs..Bills…Chargers…who had the roughest loss
skibum replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can't believe how much people are freaking out about this game. All mistakes, injuries, and heat aside, the only place the Bills did not dominate was on the scoreboard. Bills win that game 9 out of 10 times. Even if you don't believe that logic, it was a two-point loss, on the road, to a team that's on a hot streak. Not something to be concerned about. -
Micah to IR (out for the year per his agent)

I feel very bad for the man. Wishing him a full recovery. -
I think it's fair to say that I, and likely many Bills fans, may appreciate wins more when the team is an underdog, and that it is strange and uncomfortable being the favorite every week. But I sure as hell don't miss losing.

Hill, Waddle go deep.. Tua can't get them the ball... Running for his life.

I thought the Bills looked pretty mortal through the first quarter or so. It was kind of nice to see them being challenged by the Titans D, after they had their way with the Rams. We saw that they can just keep at it, move the chains and put up points even when they're not getting everything they want.

Most talented player in Bills franchise history?

Bruce, OJ, Allen for sure. Lots of other candidates; HM to Kyle Williams, that guy was a freaky athlete. -
Which player on the roster baffles you that they are on this team?
skibum replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stevenson for sure. He looked completely out of place on a football field last year, he is not a bona fide WR, he is not listed a returner on the depth chart, and he doesn't play special teams. All he does is run really fast in a straight line. Why even bother with the whole IR thing? What are they saving him for? What's up with all the hate for T-Sween? I thought we loved an underdog around here? -
Oh well, at least the DL is deep and the safety tandem is elite. Also remember the Fins have Tua , not Mahomes, throwing it to Tyreek Hill.

Great run; you really have to tip your hat to the guy. He beat all the odds to take home some 5 million bucks, give or take, in the last five years. He could roll that into an annuity and retire off it right now if he was so inclined. Good on you Mr. Peterman.

Gotta make room for Gronk.

I’m saying Shaq. The D line is stacked, and he got a suspiciously high number of snaps vs. Denver. Could be they were marketing him for sale.
-
I also noticed he has a bad habit of doing these little hop-step , skippy things while trying to decide on a running lane, rather than keeping the wheels turning. A pro RB has to keep the wheels moving at all times.

Broncos at Bills Preseason Game Day thread.

This is ridiculous! I know the Donkeys are playing their scrubs, but even scrubs make a play once in a while. These guys can do nothing. -

I know, all game long! Also, the color guy is completely incoherent. Apparently CBS is also playing their third-stringers this preseason. -
It's not the NFL's place to serve justice to a criminal, so I think the suspension and fines from the league are more or less irrelevant. What is relevant, though, is whether or not Watson can get a job based on his conduct. That's for the individual teams to decide. The real crime is that the Browns not only signed him, but gave him one of the richest contracts in NFL history, and one that was structured with the assumption that he would be suspended for a long time. That's a sickening statement. I would like to think that most teams would not do that, but who knows.
