  1. Lombardi trophy case
  2. Amazing game for the D, amazing work by the O to overcome the lack of Kincaid and Coleman. Josh had a big-balls TD run. A complete victory that could have been a blowout if not for one bad pass.
  3. Solid team win vs. the boogeyman. Cheers!!!
  4. That's cool to see - I can't remember the last time a Bills team did something innovative that gave them a real advantage. Probably have to be the hurry-up of the 90's. I followed the Seattle game for a bit on NFL Gamecenter, and I kept seeing plays where Alec Anderson reported as eligible. I remember thinking, "what the heck are they doing?", and now I know.
  5. This article is bunk. Did Edwards actually say he wants to be traded? Where's the quote? Who's the source? It's just conjecture. He's not playing, therefore he is "available" to a team that he can play for. Phony journalism or AI, not sure which.
  6. Technically, it's too early to judge until Von's time here is finished, but as of right now it's Mario by a very, very wide margin. Not sure how you compare Von to Mario when Von has been injured or suspended for most of his Bills tenure, whereas Mario pretty much piled up the sacks and wrecked people week in/out while here.
  7. Joey Slye? Statistically not better than Bass to date, but perhaps trending up vs. down?
  8. Not until halftime vs. Miami.
  9. I think Beane has the Bills as 'all in' as he can get them, given the assets available and the current cap situation. It's better than a full rebuild, but I don't think there's enough in the war chest to really go full SB-or-Bust.
  10. The best QB prospects almost always get drafted by desperate, terrible franchises. For many of them, it's next to impossible to establish confidence and rhythm. There's nowhere to go but up, and fortunately some of them get out before it's too late. And this is why you also see QB success stories from later rounds - Those guys are more likely to go to good teams with an established franchise QB to mentor them along.
  11. He has been a star player on some bad teams, and often those guys get traded. He couldn't stay in Dallas because they couldn't pay him what he was worth. All pretty legit reasons.
  12. Everyone saying Hopkins is washed, you're nuts. Over 1K yards and 14.1 yd average last season, and a 12-year veteran badass. He's still a great football player, and he will have Jesus H. Mahomes throwing to him. This is a huge pickup at great value for the Chiefs; not to mention WR is a big need for them. If you grade the two trades on which team is now more likely to win a title, I favor KC. If you grade on value for the player, I think it's a wash.
  13. On the replay, it looks to me like he had two feet down with control of the ball, before turning around, crossing the goal-line, and then dropping the ball. To my eyes, it does look like he had possession of the ball and two feet down when the ball crossed the line, so anything after that should be moot. I can see the argument that he never had complete control, but I would say he did - though it was very, very brief.
  14. You forgot to mention the Patriots suuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
  15. Because I was not able to watch one minute of the game yesterday. You're welcome!
