If the US has a very high testing ratio per capita - it will push down the fatality "rate" the author uses as a good stat - which the insight dudes to extrapolate for the whole article. Different countries have different testing rates - which means you can't compare death rates.. Yes - we are bad...6 months plus into this thing...we have 10x the deaths per day than the EU - same population size, same intel, same virus, same timing. If we had the current EU stats of 125 deaths per day...you would have college football, you would be tailgating in 2 weeks, schools would be open, and you could go out to dinner.
