I believe we are in violent agreement. If there is a hole or if they can get him the ball in space, I think we both agree he can be productive. Where he falters is in those situations where power is required instead of speed and finesse. He just isn't very good at that type of run.

The only thing that I can see that is preventing Spiller from being more productive is the way he is being utilized. They put him in twice yesterday in second and short situations and had him run straight ahead. That is not his game. He is not a short yardage back or a power back. They need to get him the ball in space by using some counter plays or sweep plays that allow him to get outside where he can use his speed. Line him up in the slot with Fred in the backfield and throw him the ball. They just haven't done enough of this IMO and that is where Spiller's strength lies. Speed doesn't do you any good if there is no space to run in.

Agree 100%. There have been far too few days like yesterday lately. It was a great day to be a Bills fan. It's a long season and who knows where we go from here, but what a great game to watch. Special teams made plays, TE caught 2TD's, Stevie and Jones 1 each. Fitz played well, Freddie was awesome. Defense played well. What's not too like? Thoroughly enjoyed watching this one. Bring on Da Raida's!

I live in Canada and we are getting it on Sportsnet 1 on Tape Delay at about midnight Eastern time. It is the Bills feed, so maybe Channel 7 is doing the same thing.

A few weeks ago, I got slammed by a whole bunch of people on this board for having the nerve to predict that the Bills would finish ahead of the Dolphins. Looks like I am not the only one thinking along those lines. I sincerely believe they will be a better team this year than last and they were very competitive last year. Hopefully they can learn how to win those close ones that they lost last year. That would make a huge difference record wise.

I was with you until the New England game. I just don't think we are that good yet. Other than that, I don't see any reason why this team can't go 8-8 or even 9-7.

So I just got my tickets to the Eagles game. Coming in with my son and his girlfriend. We are flying from St. John's, Newfoundland to Toronto on Friday, then driving down for the weekend. My total for a ticket to the game and round trip airfare? Around $600. That doesn't include hotel. Guess I figured it was time to put my money where my mouth is. I haven't been to a game at the Ralph since the AFC Championship game vs. Oakland in 1990 or 91, can't remember. I'm not offended. Just passing on the news of what I heard and I happen to disagree. Nobody KNOWS for sure where any team will finish until they play the games. It is just my opinion based on watching both teams last year and what happened this offseason. You are welcome to disagree and I respect your opinion. I just don't believe Miami is a better team going into this season.

I was listening this afternoon to "Moving the Chains" on SiriusXM Radio and a caller asked about the Bills. Gannon predicted they would be better than 4-12, but would still finish last in the division. I am not one of the conspiracy theorists that believes the media hates the Bills. I do believe however that there is no way the Bills will finish behind Miami this year. Miami will be a very bad football team and I think the Bills will be better than last year. So no conspiracies, I just happen to disagree with Gannon. I don't really think the Jets are that good either and there is a possibility we could edge them out for the number two spot. I still believe New England will win the division.
