  1. You're obviously delusional. No way the Bills beat Arizona next Sunday. As for the 11 regular season games remaining, please don't remind me. Although we have been historically bad the past two weeks, I believe we have not seen the worst of it yet.
  2. It's not a curse, it's bad coaching. At first I thought that Gailey was an improvement over Jauron, but I was wrong. Under Jauron, I don't remember many blowout losses. Our problems were on the offensive side, pretty much. Now we suck on both sides of the ball. Gailey has got to go. You will never hear me say that the Bills should pack it up and move. That is just silly. I would be lost without the Bills to pull for every week. I am embarrassed by their performance the past two weeks and week one against the Jests, but every week, I hope for the best. I will continue to do that, although I no longer am surprised by performances like yesterday.
  3. Southern man better keep your head Don't forget what your good book said Southern change gonna come at last Now your crosses are burning fast Southern man source: http://www.lyricattack.com/n/neilyounglyrics/southernmanlyrics.html
  4. Keep dreaming cuz that ain't about to happen. Next week will look a lot like the past two.
  5. Me too Horse. I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I am each and every week watching this team get destroyed. They are in a downward spiral like the ones that led to 7 and 8 game losing streaks the past two years. May as well tank the rest of the season like Indy did last year and draft the best QB possible. Oh yeah and let's start next year with a new coaching staff as well.
  6. He's all but done. Two games in a row like yesterday after losing streaks of 7 and 8 games the first two years. Unfortunately he's in over his head as a HC. Time to make a change and the sooner the better. This team is going nowhere with him as HC and I was a big supporter. This year has convinced me that he will never be able to get this team to where it needs to be. May as well cut your losses now.
  7. Now the SF second string is making the Bills defense look bad. How in the world did this defense get so bad? Looks like another long embarrassing season. It's not just that they get beat, they embarrass themselves. This defense is not only bad, it is historically bad. The rushing and passing yards and number of points this team has allowed is among the worst two weeks in the history of the NFL. Unbelievable.
  8. I don't think the GM is the problem. They definitely need a new coaching staff though and a QB that can actually throw the ball.
  9. Stay away from Landry Jones. Need to watch more of the NCAA season before having a better opinion on who will be available.
  10. Except he will say fuzzical instead of physical.
  11. I couldn't agree more. The coaching staff is the problem here. When you consistently get not only beat, but destroyed by the teams in your own division, that is an indicator that there is something lacking in the coaching department. Also, when the team loses 7 and 8 games in a row and you can not figure out how to stop the slide, that is another indicator that the coaching is inadequate. I like Chan Gailey as a person and I believe he has some merit as an OC, but his record as a head coach speaks for itself. And Wannstedt appears to be clueless. Unfortunately it is time for another coaching change and that could mean more losing for awhile.
  12. I have been a Bills fan since the inception of the team. I still remember my sister bringing home a poster of that first Bills team. I will never be done with them. I will always watch and hope for the best. That said, Sunday was very disheartening. I don't mind if they fight hard and lose. But allowing the opposition to score on six straight possessions and making it look easy? The sad thing is that I have learned to accept this kind of effort from this team. I won't dessert them or jump ship, but I fully expect that this is going to be another long sad season.
  13. I beg to differ. I am a very happy man. I am very satisfied with my job, my family and life in general. I am not, however even close to being satisfied with the football team that I have chosen to follow for the past 50 + years. That was an embarrassment on Sunday and it was the second time in two tries against division opponents that this team has been thoroughly embarrassed. It is not just one game, it is a pattern of ineptness over a number of years and it is very disheartening to watch. It would have been different if they even put up a fight, but it was obvious in the second half, that NE could score whenever they wanted. They were toying with this team and laughing at them. I just wish this team would grow some pride and refuse to be beaten. I wouldn't even know where to begin to fix this team, it is so badly broken. I would have to start with the coaching staff though. There is no excuse for being as clueless as the Bills have been against division opponents since Gailey and company have taken charge. Secretly wanting to be miserable? Not even close. I would love nothing more than to be able to come on this forum and talk about what a good job these guys are doing. They have to earn that though and they ain't even in the ballpark. It would save Bills fans a lot of agony if they did. This team has shown that they are going nowhere and will not be able to compete with any team that is better than average. May as well not show up if you're going to play the way they did Sunday. Cancelling doesn't sound like a bad option at this point. They would lose each game by 7-0. That is a hell of a lot better than giving up 100 + points to division opponents in only two games.
  14. This one proved once and for all that Gailey is in over his head as HC. He has no clue how to get his team ready to beat the teams in his division. These should be the easiest games to prepare for. Buffalo should be very familiar with what NE, Miami or the Jets. Playing them twice a year for going on three years now should give a coach a clear indication of their tendencies and it should never be as easy as it was for NE this past Sunday. He is clueless.
  15. I agree with everything that has been said. His record against division opponents has been atrocious. They not only get beat, they get beat up. These are teams that you play twice every year. Preparing for them should be fairly straightforward. This coaching staff still has no clue how to beat the Jets, Pats and even Miami. Offensively, this team is more fun to watch than under Jauron, but what good is that if you can't stop anybody from scoring. Same result, a big fat L.
  16. I don't even know where to begin to express my disappointment and frustration with this team. The whole team was terrible, including the coaches. Chan has a tendency to make some boneheaded play calls each and every week. You can count on Fitz to make some ridiculously bad throws each and every week. Wannstedt and the defense don't seem to have a clue. Fumbles, INT;s inability to stop the other team. It is so painful to watch this team. They are so bad, I wouldn't even know where to begin to start to fix them. Very discouraging.
  17. I agree. At the first sign of adversity, this team folds like a house of cards. Absolutely zero mental toughness or resolve or pride.
  18. Let's see, can't come close to beating the Jets, can't come close to beating New England, I predict they will lose at least one of the Miami games. As Jim Mora once said "Playoffs? Playoffs?" Not in our wildest dreams is this a playoff team. They are pathetic as usual. I love my Bills and always root for them to win, but they are a gutless bunch of losers who are no match for the good teams in the league.
  19. I think it took CJ until last year to figure out the NFL. Early on he thought he could use his speed to get outside like he did in college. Once he learned that he needs to run the play as designed and wait for the hole to open, he got a lot better. That is just gaining experience. I don't blame Chan for giving Fred the majority of the carries. Fred Jackson is a beast and he was one of the best players in the league. Now that CJ has more experience, we have two really good running backs. I'm sure that Gailey will find ways to get both of them some touches when they are both healthy again.
  20. Kicking the ball 27 yards at the end of a close game is completely unacceptable. I know he has been around a long time and has made some very good kicks over the years, but I agree that it is time for a change.
  21. Sorry, but I am far from ignorant and I completely agree with this move. Moorman is a good guy, but he can not execute basic punts like pinning the ball inside the 20 and coffin corner type kicks. As for your assertion that he has been a top 3 punter in the NFL for years, it simply is not true. Not once in his career has Moorman finished in the top 3 punters in the league. In the past 5 years, he has finished number 12, 10, 4, 11 and 8. His botched punt on Sunday almost let Cleveland back in the game. When he kicks long, they are generally line drives and very returnable. Powell is a very good punter and I believe at this point he will be an improvement over Moorman. We can agree to disagree on this one and I won't even call you names.
  22. How about the "Emerald City Error"? .
  23. Love that. Almost made me spit out my tea.
  24. On the contrary, I am extremely happy that the Bills won. I do believe that they will have to play better next week against NE than they did yesterday or they will get their rear ends handed to them. NE is just a better team than Cleveland. Is that so hard to understand?
