  1. Agree 100%. I don't believe that the signing of Anderson will have any impact on re-signing Levitre. I also do not believe they will let Levitre walk. The two things are not related.
  2. I still like Wilson. He didn't overwhelm at the Senior Bowl, but he didn't play badly either. I like his leadership skills and he seems to be able to make all the throws. He's my guy for now.
  3. Please no. I would much rather have Jason Campbell than another year of Fitz. Campbell can run the read option and has a better arm than Fitz. Why would you want to suffer through another season with someone who has so clearly demonstrated that he just cannot get the job done?
  4. Do you really believe TJ would re-sign with Buffalo after not even getting a chance to suit up last year. I don't believe for a minute he would. I like the idea of drafting a QB and signing Jason Campell. Please no more Fitz.
  5. Well I guess it's true that everyone's perceptions if the same events can be markedly different. I thought Marrone came off as much more seasoned than Pettine. I'm sure that both are good football men or they wouldn't have made it this far. Time will tell and I'm hoping that I'm right on this one.
  6. Right, you're stating your opinion. Opinions are usually based on something. What specifically did he say that makes you believe that he is not an intelligent guy? Listening to his interviews, my opinion is the exact opposite of yours. He seems to give well thought out answers to questions and his introductory press conference to me seemed better than, for example Trestman's in Chicago, so I am curious what makes you feel that way.
  7. And this is based on what exactly?
  8. Check out the interviews with Wilson and Nassib here. I have been an advocate for Wilson all year and I still hope he is the guy, but if it's Nassib I won't be too disappointed. http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/videos/Bills_Focus_Doug_Marrone_1_on_1_Interview/71d35cd3-174d-4b59-9b4a-d162f53b1606
  9. I've been advocating for Wilson all season. I would be extremely pleased if we are able to get him. RD 2 would be ideal, but we may have to pull the trigger in round one.
  10. And your point would be? Drew Bledsoe sucked as QB of the Buffalo Bills. So did Ryan Fitzpatrick. So Fitz sucked less is that it?
  11. This doesn't surprise me. All the people who were saying there was no first round talent this year don't have a clue. I agree with Mayock. At least three of the guys he mentioned will go in the first round.
  12. Unsportsmanlike conduct is a non contact penalty. If contact is involved it becomes a personal foul and it definitely is a penalty.
  13. I like Wilson too, but my guess is he won't be there in the third round. Maybe second, but that is iffy as well. Someone might grab him in the first round.
  14. Can you tell me what all of the people that you mentioned lack? That's right, experience as a HC. Marrone left the NFL for Syracuse to get some HC experience. That to me gives him the edge over everyone you mentioned. He has NFL experience as a coordinator and position coach and also experience as a HC. None of the other candidates that you mentioned have that.
  15. If there's one thing I love about this board, it's the unbridled optimism.
  16. My prediction is that there are at least three QB's who will be solid starters in the NFL in this year's draft. This team needs an upgrade at QB. It may be Nassib or someone else, but be prepared, because this team WILL draft a QB this year.
  17. I used to have influx, but my Doctor gave me Nexium for it. Doesn't bother me anymore.
  18. Relax man. This guy would not have lasted as many years as he has as an OL coach if he didn't know what he was doing. The coaching choices have been solid and they couldn't be any worse than they have been under Gailey the past three years. I look for major improvements this year.
  19. I don't get the comparison either. Nassib, from what I have seen is nothing like Andy Dalton. Completely different styles of play.
  20. Love this. Being a Bills fan is part of where you are from. You are raised with it and it sticks with you.
  21. Completely disagree. Another year of Fitz will produce exactly the same results as the past two years. He is not capable of getting it done. He had his shot and he failed. I'm sure that there will be at least one QB in this draft that can start right away. More than likely there is more than one. Sign a veteran FA and draft the best QB available. Cut both Fitz and Thigpen. Time to move on.
  22. Personally, I like the hire. Marrone is an NFL guy that went back to the college ranks to gain some HC experience. I love the hire of Pettine and I think that Hacket will surprise people. He comes from a coaching family and seems to have a good football intellect. I like the mixture of ex-NFL players in the position coaches. I believe this will prove to be a good hire, but as others have stated, time will tell.
  23. Love this. It covers all possible complaints.
  24. Nothing wrong with questioning. It is the predicted outcome that I have issue with. If you don't like the hires, then I am fine with that if you state your reasons. Predicting failure, however is taking it too far. Truth is that none of us knows how this staff will perform and what kind of success they will have. One thing we can agree on I believe is that change was needed. Gailey was not going to have any different results in the future than what he has had the past three years. I am onboard for the changes and hopeful for success.
  25. I watched the Tressman press conference. Not impressed. From what I saw of the two, Marrone has a much better idea of what he wants to do with the team.
