  1. My buddy just posted this to his Facebook page. Pretty cool, I think. "I can't stop smiling and am feeling very fortunate... I was contacted by the Buffalo Bills and will walk through the tunnel with Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith and many of the members of the wall of fame for the halftime "Wall of Fame" ceremony this Sunday at the Ralph... a few season ticket holders were selected and are presenting the members with Blazers.. guess it's my lucky day... Go Bills!"
  2. Exactly right. The Pats were clearly taking away the run and challenging EJ to beat them through the air. To me, that more than explains why the Bills had trouble running the ball on Sunday. And let's face it, C.J. wasn't exactly very decisive in his running on Sunday. Too much dancing behind the LOS and not enough hit the hole quickly and just run.
  3. I forgot to play the Shout song on my computer after the third TD. I was thinking that it was bad luck at the time, and I was right.
  4. Over react much? Marrone did not mis-manage the clock. There were almost six minutes left in the game and Buffalo was up by 1 point when the Bills had a chance to try and score to put some distance between them and the Pats. You don't do that by trying to "kill the clock". You keep playing and try and score some more points. If Stevie Johnson doesn't drop a ball that hit him right in the hands on third down, the Bills keep possession, possibly score and win the game. You can't blame the coach for Stevie's drop or for his approach. The approach was fine, the drop was not.
  5. Fire the owner. Fire the team President. Fire the GM. Fire the coaches. Fire the players. Did I miss anyone? Give me a freakin break.
  6. This. Bottom line, if Stevie catches that third down pass, Buffalo wins. It wasn't the hurry up, it was the execution.
  7. Nobody gets a pass in my book. All of the people that you mentioned hurt the team on Sunday, without a doubt. However, having said that, it was a huge drop on a ball that hit him squarely in his hands and could have helped the Bills put the game away. Over the course of a game, some plays stand out as more significant than others. It was a great catch for the TD, again, no disputing that. However the fact remains that if Stevie catches that ball on third down, the Bills probably win the game. He didn't and they didn't.
  8. Another silly ass thread. Criticizing the OC, criticizing the HC. The fact is that the Bills were one Stevie Johnson miss from winning this game. If he catches that ball that hit him in the hands on third down, the Bills win. Simple as that. Blame Stevie, cuz it was him that dropped two balls on third down that would have let the Bills keep posssesion and keep moving and possibly score. This loss is on him and I hope he keeps his mouth shut in the future, stops posing in the damned end zone and just catch the football.
  9. The replay showed it was a fumble and even though New England recovered, it would have saved about three yards. Refs got that one wrong.
  10. Can't agree with you there. There was too much time left to try and slow things down. Almost five minutes left and they were trying to score. So you abandon the pace that you've been using the whole game with almost five minutes left? The fact is that the players didn't execute and couldn't convert. Stevie dropped a ball that hit him square in the hands on third down. That wasn't the coaches fault. If he catches it, they keep possession, possibly score and win the game. Then they would be geniuses, but because he dropped the ball, they are idiots? Sorry, not buying what you're selling. This will be a very good team before the season is out and it is the coaches that will make them that.
  11. The ball hit him in the hands. He dropped it. He gets paid to catch the football. He cost us the game. Period.
  12. It wasn't either one of those guys that dropped the ball on third down and allowed the Pats to come back and win. That was on Stevie. If he catches that ball, the Bills win the game and everybody is happy. He missed two like that today that killed drives. Marrone, Hackett and Pettine did their jobs. Stevie didn't do his. He gets paid to catch the football.
  13. Bottom line, they found a way to lose a game they easily could have won. Same old Bills.
  14. Exactly. Penalties, turnovers and a miss by Stevie. They found a way to lose and that is the bottom line.
  15. Looks like the same old Bills to me. Penalties and turnovers are killing them. Absolutely baffling.
  16. Here we go again. Penalty on the very first play of the season, then give up the ball on your own 10 yard line. I am thoroughly disgusted. How can this team possibly be this bad for this long?
  17. I kinda like us at home. Maybe 20-17, something like that. If we hold them under three TD, I think we win.
  18. It's just Belichick playing head games. If the defense executes Pettine's scheme, it will give Brady fits, regardless of who is on NE's roster. White will not help them. it's just a mind game.
  19. C'mon man, Stevie is tweaking them. Good for him. At least he ain't scurred.
  20. I liked him too in college. Glad that we picked EJ instead.
  21. One of my favorite movies of all time. Kilmer had so many classic lines in that movie.
  22. I agree, Lewis should be QB 3. If E.J. isn't ready week one, it's Tuel to start and Lewis as backup. Leinart gets cut IMO.
