  1. This. The two fumbles and the offensive PI on Chandler were bigger plays than this one I believe.
  2. I can't pinpoint the exact moment, but I had a bad feeling all day when they were making mistakes and not putting points on the board. The Brown fumble, the McKelvin fumble, the FG's instead of TD's. None of those things bode well and I had a feeling all day that it was just a matter of time. I was hoping they would prove me wrong.
  3. Just stop. This loss was far from Orton's fault. He played decent, not great and he missed a few throws, but overall, it was the two fumbles that cost this team this game and Orton had nothing to do with those. I also question the play calling on 2nd and 2 from the five yard line. I would have run on 2nd down and then if you don't make it, you can still run on third or use play action. That decision also was a factor in this loss and it had nothing to do with Orton. The Bills gave this one away, but it was not the QB doing the giving.
  4. I admire your optimism. I for one have none left. I could see this loss coming in the second quarter.
  5. What about McKelvin? His fumble led to the winning touchdown. Both of these two plays were the difference today.
  6. Poor play calling again with a chance to go ahead. They gave this one away and it was one that they could ill afford to lose. Season over.
  7. That PI against Chandler was the dagger that killed this game. It's over.
  8. Are you shitting me? That was absolutely horrible. Trying all day to try and find a way to lose this one. Maybe they will succeed.
  9. I was thinking the same thing. At least run it on 2nd and 2. Then you can either run or play action on 3rd down. Makes no sense.
  10. Good for you. Toronto is first and foremost a hockey town. They hate the Sabres and that hatred for Buffalo poisoned the Bills in Toronto series from the very beginning. Glad to see this abomination come to an end and glad to still have some real Canadian Bills fans like you still onboard.
  11. You're kidding right? There were dozens of people on this site railing against why we let Byrd go. I for one said that NO paid too much for him and you should have seen some of the responses I got. You'd have thought I committed a murder or something. Byrd is a good player, no doubt, but he wasn't worth what NO gave him. I said it then and I'll say it now. Even if he had performed up to expectations he wasn't worth the money we would have had to give him.
  12. Let the damned thing heal. I'm all for Freddy coming back if he's healthy, but if he's not, then just let the injury heal instead of risking further injury.
  13. Since it was much easier to retain players back then, the rosters for '64 and '65 were pretty similar. Statistically the '64 team was better and they lost only two games all season, while the '65 team lost 3 and tied one. Both teams featured a dominant defense and that was what distinguished these teams from the rest of the pack. I was only 10 in '64, but I still remember watching those games. Back then there was no cable and we got the Bills games from the AFL and mostly the Browns games from the NFL. Both great teams and lots of fun to watch.
  14. I could care less what his political beliefs are. He has my team on the upswing and for that I thank him. I think if more people could have honest debate about political issues without all the bi-partisan nonsense and hate mongering that goes on, America would be a much better place and maybe our leaders would be working together to make the country a better place instead of what we have now. Good for Kyle and thanks for some good competitive football these past few weeks. Keep up the good work.
  15. It all depends. If he continues to play well and we make the playoffs, I could see them giving him an extension and I wouldn't mind that one bit. If he regresses and we fail to make the playoffs, I believe the Bills will keep looking.
  16. I agree with those that say he could be our starting QB for the next 2-3 years. I would like to see how it plays out over the rest of the season, but right now, he is head and shoulders better than anything we have had in quite some time. He had to shake off some rust those first couple of games, but overall he has been pretty good. If he continues to play well and help us win football games, then why not?
  17. Hackett called the exact same plays on first and second downs on six consecutive possessions. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that he needs to be a bit more creative. I have been reluctant to criticize because of E.J.' s poor execution, but the past two weeks, the play calling has been particularly bad. He needs to go.
  18. This will be a tough battle. We will need to play better offensively than we did last week or we will not win this game. Chiefs offense, particularly the running game is legit. Make Alex Smith beat us in the air and play error free on offense and we win. Otherwise a lot of people could be disappointed.
  19. Yes he has turned the corner indeed. He took four stupid penalties and completely whiffed because he took the wrong angle on two separate occasions leading to long runs when he could've stopped the ball carrier in the backfield. I was yelling for them to get him off the field on Sunday.
  20. C'mon man. Oakland? Really? C'mon man.
  21. Completely agree. He may have had 10 tackles, but he also took four completely unnecessary penalties and took a terrible angle to the ball on three separate occasions, resulting in long gains for the Jets. If I'm the DC, he owes me this week in practice.
  22. Yes. Did you watch the game. The play calling was absolutely atrocious. He ran virtually the same play on first and second down on 7 consecutive possessions.
  23. It was a dumb mistake, but I thought the DB might have caught him anyway. Hopefully he's learned from it and won't let it happen again. That's what he said and I believe him.
  24. The thing that baffles me is that he doesn't adjust the play for the personnel package that he has in the game. If you are going to run it on first and second, then Bryce Brown should be in the game, not Dixon. Dixon is a third down, short yardage back. He doesn't have the foot speed to be an every down back. So genius Hacket has mostly Dixon in the game and doesn't use Brown at all. Absolute Genius! He has got to go.
  25. Another stupid ass penalty by Bradham. That's four today, plus at least two missed tackles that led to big gains. Sit his ass down. I don't care what the score is.
