  1. What? THe HC does not run the no huddle. Kelly called his own plays. Not sure what this even means.
  2. Matt Moore.
  3. Not me. I would rather win than lose with integrity. In a perfect world your values could still be upheld and compete. Unfortunately, we live in the real world and not a perfect world. All of the things that you mentioned are now commonplace and part of the game. If you ignore talented players because you don't like something about their personality you will never win in today's NFL.
  4. I like the way Seattle is playing right now. They seemed to have peaked at the right time again. I also like the way they continue to grind on offense. Usually that wears the other team down in the fourth quarter. Also, not sold on Pats defense. I take the Hawks. 23-17.
  5. I understand your frustration as a Jets fan. Much of what happened in NY was due to a meddling front office and not Rex's doing. I know you wanted your team to win the SB and I understand that, but he took a team with inferior talent to two straight AFC championship games. To me, that spells good coaching, period. After that, there were all sorts of moves made by the FO and Rex tried to be a team player and play with the hand he was dealt. It didn't work out, but he was not solely to blame. I for one welcome his confidence and infectious attitude. He is the first real football coach we have had in Buffalo in quite some time. Sorry he didn't get your team to the SB, but if he even gets ours to the playoffs, that will spell success in Buffalo for a franchise that hasn't been there in way too long. I believe he is perfectly capable of doing so. Is he perfect? Hell no. Find me a coach that is. He has his flaws, like any other man or coach, but there is enough ability there to satisfy me. Time will tell if he will be the guy to lead us to the playoffs, but I am confident at this point until he proves me wrong. Go Bills.
  6. Relax, he's not talking about testicles. Noun[edit]nut-cutting time (plural nut-cutting times) Time to gather nuts before they are taken by other animals or buried in snow.  [quotations ▼] (idiomatic) Time to exert maximum effort, for example, due to an approaching deadline or a looming competitive situation.
  7. Yeah I know Kelly looked pretty bad in the East-West Shrine game.
  8. I did a mock draft on Fanspeak and was able to get Garret Grayson in round five. In another I got Kelly from Arizona State in the seventh. No need to use a high draft pick to ring in some competition.
  9. Good and rightfully so.
  10. Like this one as well.
  11. Who said they were lying? They have internal debates and when decision is made they get on the same page. That is called being professional.
  12. Thanks for the update. I just used the picks available on the Fanspeak draft engine. I appreciate your critique. I figured with the way our guards played last year if we could get 2 in the draft that couldn't be a bad thing. All the best.
  13. Got this from the Bills website. Looks like we do. The Bills made a handful of trades in the 2014 NFL draft, some of which affected their pick total in 2015. Here’s a look at where things stand right now. The Bills made a handful of trades in the 2014 NFL draft, some of which affected their pick total in 2015. Here’s a look at where things stand right now. 2015 draft picks traded away 1st round pick – to Cleveland 4th round pick – to Cleveland Possible conditional pick to Philadelphia (Bryce Brown trade) 2015 draft picks added 4th round pick – from San Francisco (Stevie Johnson trade) 5th round pick – from Tampa Bay So at this point Buffalo has a total of seven picks for the 2015 draft (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 5th, 6th, 7th), but they could lose one if certain statistical figures are attained by Bryce Brown for the Bills in the 2014 season.
  14. Guess you need to do some research before the draft then, lol.
  15. NE 24 Ind 20 SEA 27 GB 24 Taking Seattle to win it all again.
  16. Went ahead and did a quick mock draft on Fanspeak. I like the results. What do you think? 50: R2P18 TE MAXX WILLIAMS MINNESOTA 81: R3P17 G CONNOR HANRATTY NOTRE DAME 110: R4P14 CB SENQUEZ GOLSON OLE MISS 129: R5P1 RB JAVORIUS ALLEN USC 147: R5P19 WR AUSTIN HILL ARIZONA 178: R6P18 QB GARRETT GRAYSON COLORADO STATE 209: R7P17 G BEN BECKWITH MISSISSIPPI STATE
  17. I was watching the coverage yesterday after the PC and am thoroughly convinced those guys don't have a clue. How they have those jobs is beyond me. Being a former player does not automatically make you knowledgable about the entire NFL. The sports writer guys that they hire to fill out their staff are even worse. Anyone's opinion on this board is just as well informed and worth just as much as these fools.
  18. Sounds like you were listening to the idiots on NFL network about "winning press conferences". Would you rather that Rex flopped at the PC? I thought he did a great job. Of course the real result will be what we see on the field on Sundays. Everyone knows that. Saying that Rex "won the press conference" and then knocking him for it doesn't make much sense IMO.
  19. Why didn't I think of this? Of course this is the reason they keep missing the playoffs. It's the location of the training camp.
  20. I am hopeful as well. There were many factors that went into the demise of the Jets. I think Rex is a solid hire and a huge upgrade over Maroon.
  21. Everything is cyclical in the NFL. When teams have success running the football, everyone tries to do it. When teams get pass happy everyone tries to do that as well. The difference between success and failure is in planning and execution. Possibly Matt Moore. He has had sporadic success. Would have to see a bit more of him to be convinced though.
  22. Both Jerry and most NY media are arse holes. Any questions?
  23. It's his team to coach. He and his defensive coordinator will run their defense. I don't understand what else you would expect them to do.
  24. So you don't believe that Rex Ryan is a better HC than Doug Maroon? And you don't think that Roman is more qualified as an NFL OC than Hackett? I see both as huge upgrades.
