  1. My car broke down one time in Buck Snort, Tennessee.
  2. I saw him weighing in and thought the same thing. He didn't look as fat as in the picture, but he did look a bit out of shape.
  3. They gave up their first pick in round five and got Minnesota's 6th rounder in return. They also gave up a 7th rounder next year.
  4. RIP Mr. Wilson and thank your for our beloved Bills.
  5. One time for us.. The reason he was even available in trade was because he couldn't hold onto the football in Philly.
  6. He's worth a look but definitely a project.
  7. You're kidding right? We know what Fitz can/can't do. I'd rather see what Cassell has to offer than go back to Fitzy.
  8. I wonder what size Doug Flutie's hands are? He seemed to do alright in two different professional leagues. I was listening to the analysts on NFL Network and they said Wilson was impressive at the Vets combine. He also was impressive in college. I know that doesn't necessarily translate to NFL success, but I just thought I would throw it out there to see what the group thinks. Good discussion so far. I like Kafka as well and they said he did well yesterday also.
  9. Anyone think Wilson is worth taking a flyer on? He really didn't get much of a shot in the league and apparently looked impressive at the veteran's combine yeaterday. I liked him out of college and I remember some others here did as well. Why not bring him in for a look and get rid of Tuel?
  10. Mario's prime has made the Bills defense one of the best in the league. Are you saying Rivers would make our offense one of the best in the league and losing Mario would make no difference to the D? If so, I want some of what you're smoking.
  11. Let them try and ignore these guys and any one of the three QB's you mention will kill them. Completely disagree.
  12. Wouldn't waste a pick on a punter. We don't even need one.
  13. At this point, it will be a non event if and when it happens. Good signing I guess, but far from worth all the hype.
  14. So who would you suggest? Bills have brought in Cassell and Taylor. Who's out there and available that's better than the three we have? Intentionally leaving out Tuel because I don't believe he is a factor, but I would be curious to see who you think is available to be brought in.
  15. Kuondjio is not a starter. Tackles are Glenn and Henderson and both are solid IMO. Incognito will start at one G position, probably RG and we will either sign or draft another G before camp. Can we use some depth? Sure but seems like we are a G short of having a pretty decent O-LIne.
  16. If they had made him an offer before Miami cleared cap space, it would have been easier for Dolphins to match. Now they have a better idea of what to offer him.
  17. "He might not be worth the trouble" is the key phrase. Rex had him for half a year and there were no issues. Harvin knows his own track record and that he must be on his best behaviour. That's why it's a one year deal, to allow him to show that he can be a model citizen for a full season, put up some decent numbers and get a bigger payday next offseason. It makes perfect sense for both parties.
  18. Have you not been paying attention. Incognito will be the starter at RG. Former Pro-Bowler and a definite upgrade. They have already done what you're saying they need to do. So if they draft another starter at the other Guard position, in addition to all the other moves they have already made, you're saying they failed to improve the team in the offseason? Can't see any logic in your argument.
  19. You mean besides trading for Cassell and signing Taylor? I don't see them making any more moves at QB unless it is in the late rounds. Maybe one of those two 6th round picks.
  20. My guess is he signs with Cleveland. That is the way things have been going down this off season. Whenever someone comes in and leaves without a contract, they usually sign somewhere else.
  21. I don't think that they will use every pick on OL. That would be foolish and wasteful. I'd bet on drafting maybe two out of six picks.
  22. Nothing special? How many players in the history of the game had 3000 hits? Answer...28. In the history of the game. And Jeter finished sixth on that list with 3465. Yeah, nothing special, just one of the best in the history of the game.
  23. Based on what? He looked pretty good to me in the highlights that I saw from Philly. Never really got a chance last year, so what do you base your expert opinion that he is a terrible running back? Can't see any evidence to support it at all.
  24. Fred Jackson is not, never has been nor never will be even a good, let alone incredible 3rd down option. Have you not been watching the past couple of years? How many times does he need to get stuffed behind the line of scrimmage in short yardage situations before people stop saying that he is a good 3rd down back. He is not. The best use of Fred is on early downs, but definitely not on 3rd down. He is too slow and more often than not he fails to get the first down when he has been given the opportunity. I love FJ's heart, but unless he's blocking, he belongs on the bench on 3rd downs.
