  1. McCoy and Karlos and it ain't even close.
  2. But why would you take them out? They do count and with them the average is both accurate and higher. Why would you want to take out two of the most successful running plays and then say that we didn't run the ball effectively? doesn't make sense.
  3. Can't you just enjoy the win. Bills thoroughly dominated and were up 24-0 at one point. They were trying to kill clock after that. Pefectly understandable. The only reason Indy scored at all was because they got two huge calls from the refs on that first scoring drive.
  4. O-LIne didn't look great, but I think they will get better. Bottom line is that it didn't matter. Bills thoroughly dominated a quality opponent. Great way to open the season.
  5. Completely agree. It actually started in the first half on that bogus chop block call. But the second half was ridiculous. It was like they had been told by someone to get the Colts back into the game.
  6. John Clayton doesn't have a clue. Why they continue to pay him is beyond me. Almost everything that comes out of his mouth is dead wrong.
  7. That is the same photo that caused all the hubub five years ago. Having a framed copy on his desk shows his ability to laugh at himself. Nothing more. It is not news, just another attempt by the NY media to smear Rex.
  8. The sky is falling. The sky is falling. Chill out. I can promise you this team will win more than 4 games. Relax man.
  9. The fact that they are not local people says it all. They do not watch or follow the Bills as closely as we do and therefore have not seen E.J.'s obvious limitations. Makes perfect sense that they would think more highly of him than most of us do.
  10. Yes I am concerned. It is obvious through the pre-season that teams will go after him if he is our starter. They have done it repeatedly and successfully in all three games. That will continue into the regular season and there is cause for concern. I hope they are able to bring in a veteran after final cuts are made.
  11. Brian Billick is a tool. If he's so smart, how come nobody has even considered him for a HC job since he was fired in Baltimore? He trashes Tyrod and says the Bills are doomed because they don't have a "championship caliber" QB on the roster. Screw him. Go Bills and go Tyrod.
  12. Hope this is true and he signs with Seattle. I have followed them since I was stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA in the late '70's. Not my favorite team obviously, but firmly in second place. This would be the best possible landing spot for Fred IMO.
  13. So you're saying that Freddie is faster and more explosive than Brown? Those are two facets of the game where Brown is clearly the better player. Freddie also gets hurt a lot and fumbles more than Brown does which also needs to be factored in. I love me some Freddie Jackson and hated this move,, but I completely understand why they did it.
  14. Agree with everything you said except the part about being a great 3rd down back. Freddie was good at a lot of things, but short yardage 3rd down situations and goal line situations were not among them. His running style was not suited to those situations and he repeatedly got stuffed. Love Freddie as a player and I believe he still has something left in the tank for whoever picks him up. I don't expect it to take too long for him to find a new team.
  15. If you are looking for anything team oriented or inspiring to come from Shady McCoy, you will be sorely disappointed. Good player, not such a good person and certainly not a team leader.
  16. We need help at corner desperately. Darby is getting torched on a regular basis and that will continue into the regular season if something isn't done. Teams will go right after him and McKelvin will not be ready by opening day. Would love to see a move to bolster the CB position.
  17. Goodwin and Hogan will be lucky to make the roster. Thompson has passed them both in the pecking order. Probably Harvin too.
  18. We talkin bout practice man. Not the game. Not the game. Not the game. We talkin bout practice man. I know it's funny to me too. We talkin bout practice man.
  19. These guys are professionals. They will have a discussion and if Rex disagrees with Roman, then I'm sure he will give him every opportunity to make his case. Ultimately though, it is the HC's call.
  20. Whaley has done a fantastic job of building this roster. Bottom line, he had input, but Manuel was not his call. Buddy drafted him.
  21. Jim Brown. Hands down. He was a badass. Today's RB's are pussies in comparison. Brown wouldn't be caught dead intentionally running out of bounds. If he was to go out, someone would have to knock him out. And they would pay dearly for doing so. Greatest RB I ever saw and it isn't even close.
  22. I think it's closer to 99%. It's true, I just read it on the internet. Oh wait, that was after I wrote it. This is a ridiculous thread. As a GM you make that trade 100% of the time. It's a complete no brainer.
