  1. Me too, but his defenders will say it's not his fault. After last week, I would have started the guy off the practice squad before I would start EJ. Absolute nightmare. And there goes our season.
  2. Typical series with EJ under center. We are in for a long morning I believe.
  3. Based on how they have played so far, that hope is long gone. It is looking more and more like an 8-8 or 7-9 season.
  4. Indeed I will until this team shows some consistency there is no telling what we will get from week to week.
  5. We'll see. Based on what I saw from EJ and the defense last week we would have a hard time beating anybody.
  6. With EJ starting, I believe we will lose this one. And therefore, the season is lost. Another season with missed opportunities and no playoffs. Very frustrating.
  7. I agree. The only difference between last year's D and this year's is Rex Ryan. Double down on what the OP stated. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Leave the D alone. Only problem is, it's too late, Rex has already Wrecked the D. Sorry for the pun, but I don't believe that at this point in the season, they can simply stop what they have been installing since training camp and go back to the old D. Could be a long season if they don't get it fixed somehow.
  8. If you have watched both and cannot determine that TT is head and shoulders a better QB than EJ, then it is pointless to debate with you. You just don't get it.
  9. I didn't see it either, so please enlighten me. He still missed wide open receivers and skipped some passes because his footwork was off. He still continually threw underneath on third down and long, knowing that the receiver had no chance of making the first down. He still held the ball way too long and took a sack that resulted in punting from the endzone and a short field for Cinci that resulted in a TD, so please enlighten me on how he is so much better than he was last year.
  10. Stats can be decieving. EJ continually threw underneath on third down, knowing he would not get the first down. He does not deliver the ball with nearly the crispness and accuracy of Tyrod. He does not convey the sense of confidence in his team mates that Tyrod Taylor does. There are other things that are intangibles that are hard to quantify. I know you have your opinion, but I can't beleive that anyone can watch these two guys and conclude that EJ Manuel is the better option.
  11. This. Completely agree. Bills need to step up their play or they are in for a long season.
  12. I did the same thing and came up with 8-8. I have us losing to the Jets twice, the Eagles, Pats and Cowboys. That's five more losses combined with the three we have already and we're 8-8. That could change if the team steps up it's play, but I based it on how they have performed for the first six weeks.
  13. Half empty. This still looks like an 8-8 team. Same old Bills.
  14. I don't know man. I looked at the schedule as well and the best I could come up with was 8-8 with a distinct possibility of going 7-9. I took into account not how I think the team should be playing, but how they actually have performed over the first six weeks. Projecting that against our remaining opponents and the way they have been playing and the absolute best scenario I could come up with was 8-8. The Bills it seems have wasted another season and some opportunities early this season. They needed to win at least two of these first four at home and they have failed miserably.
  15. I said this last week after he spoke out and I got hammered for it. How about playing a full season before complaining about targets. Hard to target someone who isn't on the field and this guy gets hurt every time someone breathes on him. This time, nobody even touched him.
  16. Not the coaches fault that we can't stop the run? Whose fault is it then? Rex Ryan has taken a great defense and destroyed it. He has them in the wrong alignments most of the time and it is costing us dearly. Schwartz had the same personnel and under him they dominated. Players have already lost confidence in Ryan's scheme and it is only going to get worse. 4-3 at the break if we manage to win next week is not good enough. I looked at the schedule and considered the way this team has played thus far. The best I can see us finishing is 8-8 and it looks more likely to be 7-9.
  17. Defense needed to step up with all the injuries on the offensive side. Defense and special teams were putrid. I looked at the rest of our schedule and considering the inconsistency of the first six weeks, it looks to me like we go 8-8 at best and possibly 7-9. Very disappointing after all of the offseason hype.
  18. All the best Bill. Hope you are feeling better soon.
  19. Got to agree with everyone here. This team looks pathetic. We really needed the D to step it up today with all of the injuries on offense and they failed miserably. BTW, just an aside, but I have been very successful at predicting the outcomes of NFL games after watching how the games are being officiated in the first quarter. Officials set the tone early and it usually carries through the whole game. Watching this one it was easy to tell who was going to win after one quarter.
  20. The loss definitely was not EJ's fault. However, having said that, he had an opportunity to shine and he failed. He just doesn't seem to have what it takes to consistently make plays.
  21. Completely agree. If this team doesn't improve, they will finish last in the division. Miami looked good today and so did the Jests. In six weeks this team has already played so poorly that I have lost interest. I don't expect anything from here on out. If they win great, but I'm anticipating a lot more games like this one.
  22. Agree with all who say that Rex has broken the D. They were really good the past two years and this year they suck. Ryan is the difference. He had me fooled. I thought they were bringing in a good coach, but his teams are undisciplined and ill prepared almost every week. That is the mark of poor coaching. I was definitely wrong about Ryan.
  23. This defense looks terrible under Ryan. They were really good the past two years. That last play was pathetic. Absolutely no pressure.
