The Pats never wore red on red that I can remember. The stripes on these jerseys are different and the pants are red too. I don't even see any connection with the old Pats uniforms.

Until the Bills show some consistency, it's very hard to predict what you will get from week to week. Hoping for a Bills win, but expecting exactly nothing.

Um no it wasn't, it was the defense that took the lead with 5 minutes to go. It was EJ that spotted the Jaguars 21 points in about a 5 minute span of the first half.

NIce post and I wish that I could share your optimism. It just isn't in me anymore. After so many losing and non-playoff seasons, it is just gone. I was fired up at the beginning of this season and expected a much better start than 3-4. Last week and the week before against Cinci were all it took to take the wind out of my sails for this season. I expect nothing and will not be disappointed if we lose from here on out. If we win, great, but it will come as a surprise to me no matter who we are playing. This team has shown absolutely no signs of consistently good play this year and I do not expect that to change over the next 9 games. They've had 7 to show that they are a good team and what they have shown is that they are not. I will always root for them to win, but I have no more optimism in me regarding this team.

Watkins has been virtually useless to the Bills. He has been injured more often than not. Too bad if he doesn't like the criticism. When you call for more targets and then fall down without being touched and get hurt AGAIN, you are fair game for criticism. Call me a d'bag if you want, I think Watkins is a bigger one.

This. EJ is horrible and it was his mistakes that caused that huge deficit. Without those mistakes, we win this game easily.

Are you people insane? EJ is horrible. How many more mistake prone games like yesterday do you need to see before you figure out that he is not an NFL starting QB?

Yes. Season is lost. At this point I think they will be hard pressed to finish 7-9.

In what universe does losing the game mean we overcame the deficit? I could care less if anyone agrees with me. To me overcoming the deficit means that we won the game after falling behind. We did not do that so therefore we did not overcome the deficit. It was because of that deficit that we lost that game and it is blatantly obvious.

This. Bills would have a hard time beating anyone the way they have been playing. They proved it today. Jacksonville is terrible and we couldn't even beat them.

They did not overcome it for the third time, we lost the game and it was because of that huge deficit.

They will not win the next two. They will lose to Miami for sure. This season has been a disaster and I don't see any end in sight. All three resulted in TD's.

You can't overlook the deficit. That was the difference. It was just too big a hole to try and dig out of. They certainly were not erased. Because the Bills came back to take the lead does not change the fact that they had a huge deficit to make up and it was the difference in the game. Without those three second quarter scores that we handed to Jacksonville, we win that game with ease.

But we didn't win. The reason we didn't was because of that absolutely disgraceful 2nd quarter by EJ.

We did what? We certainly didn't win. Yes it was a bad PI call, but the score stands and the reason we lost was not that call it was all of EJ's mistakes early. Not many teams in the NFL are going to overcome a 24 point deficit.

Not only that, how many times are you going to sneak with the QB on third down? I run Shady there on 3rd down and again on 4th if necessary.

What a waste. I couldn't stand Marrone, but at least he recognized that EJ is not an NFL QB. That was quite possibly the worst quarter of football I have ever seen a QB play. 3 turnovers in less than 3 minutes. When you go down 24 it's awfully hard to come back. Yes that was a terrible PI call that led to the winning score, but you can't dig yourself a hole like that and expect to come back and win.

Well it was a nice effort to come back. Just too much of a hole. And that PI call? What can you say. Game changer. Bills never get a freakin break.

Now we've got a game. EJ has done his best to give it away, but we just might have a shot now. Need a big stop on D.

And E.J. with two more bad throws in the Red Zone. This drive will cost us the game. Needed 7 there.

I hate those little dink and dunk throws. They never get more than a few yards and they wasted a down.
