Failure to get the ball more to the WR's is not Tyrod's fault. It's the playcalling. He underthrew a couple of balls against NE, but for the most part has been very good on deep balls. He runs the plays that are called and this is a run first offense. Blame Greg Roman if you want more passing, but I'll take Tyrod over almost every QB in the division. He has played exceptionally well for the most part.

There were a couple of non calls that made a huge impact on the final score. I counted at least twice on deep balls by Tyrod that the defender did not turn his head and there was contact before the ball got there. In my mind that's classic PI and both of the ones I saw were inside the NE 10.

The fact is that the Bills got beat by a better team last night. Mistakes happen in every game to every team. The idea is to limit them and I think the coaching staff did a good job of preparing this team and limiting mistakes. The Pats made plays when they needed to and the Bills did not and that was the difference. NE is simply a better team and it showed.

Agree 100%. Taylor is a very good QB. One of the best in the league. I watch a lot of NFL football and the way Tyrod Taylor has performed this year put him in the top 10 in the league. You will not find a better one in the draft or on anyone else's roster. He is the real deal.

I felt the same way. Absolutely unlistenable. Tirico was horrible. It was like there was only one team out there.

Is anyone surprised by the terrible calls? We intercept and take it to the NE 20 and it's offsetting penalties. No PI on the long ball to Watson. Might have been a 17 point swing and we lose by 7. Disgusting.

I am red/green color blind as well. This was a nightmare for me trying to tell these two teams apart last night.

I know exactly what you mean. This team has been so wildly inconsistent over the years, it is very hard to know what you are going to get on any given week. Who knows what team will show up tonight? Let's hope it's the good one.

Until the Bills show that they can play consistently solid football, they should not be favored to win against anybody. This team lost to Jacksonville.

Wow!. He only threw 12 times and completed 11 of them. Yes you're right, terrible stats. They didn't throw more because they were gashing Miami on the ground. His record as a starter is 4-2 and he is in the top 5 in the league in most QB stats. We do not need a different QB. We need a solid backup, so draft one in the 2nd or 3rd, but no need to look for a starting QB in the draft, we already have one and he should be the number one guy for quite some time.

I think we need to draft a couple of LB's, one ILB and one OLB. Second need is still OL and then maybe a wideout. We need a solid backup QB, but I think Tyrod is the man at QB for the foreseeable future.

Hughes changed the game yesterday, but he has got to get smarter when it comes to the penalties. How many times does he need to get flagged before he figures it out?

I agree that this team will be hard pressed to get to 9-7. The D still looks suspect and they are still taking way too many penalties. While I don't blame Whaley for this and I like a lot of the moves he has made, I do blame Rex Ryan and his staff. I think this team is talented enough to make the playoffs, but they have been wildly inconsistent. Choosing EJ as the backup was a major mistake IMO. Not sure he could have done anything to beat Cinci, but he gave away that Jacksonville game. I'm looking for some consistent good play, particularly from the D and thus far, I still haven't seen it. That's on the coaches.

Average is a stretch. This defense has been putrid for most of the season. They better get it figured out or the next two games could get ugly.

This D gives up way too many big plays and has had a hard time stopping anyone including Jacksonville. Not at all what I had expected and certainly not as good as last year.

You need to watch NE play. They do not make the same stupid mistakes that we make. That's why they are able to beat good teams and we are not. Hell we couldn't even beat Jacksonville for cryin out loud. NE would never turn the ball over the way we did against Jacksonville. We were lucky today that we played a bad team. Happy for the win, but the Bills will need to get a lot better in a hurry if they are going to make a run.

Yes the D sure looked dominating on those back to back 80+ yard drives by Miami. For once the O bailed them out, but this was an ugly game for 3 quarters. Bills won the fourth quarter decisively . If they play like that for 3 quarters against anyone but MIami, they get beat. Happy for the win, but it did not look good for the first 3 quarters.

Still an ugly ugly game. Looks like we will hang on and win, but a performance like this beats exactly zero playoff calibre teams.

Some people just don't want to admit that we are a bad team again this year. This team has shown zero consistency and absolutely nothing to indicate that they are a playoff contender.

Miami didn't need to make any. They gashed us for 84 yards both before and after the half.

It's official, our D sucks. That's two straight 80 yard drives without the least bit of pressure. More missed tackles, senseless penalties and just thoroughly being outplayed. Let's hope the O has an answer.

I don't think you're too far off. Until they start playing some consistently good football, I could easily see them losing both today and Thursday, then once the pressure is off, they start winning again. That has been their history and until they prove they are better than that, then that is what I would expect. Hoping for better, but expecting nothing. I hope they prove me wrong.
