  1. Will these guys ever get tired of embarrassing themselves against NE? Seems like at some point they would have some pride and just get pissed off and play football. Haven't seen anything to indicate that will happen though.
  2. Bills are bad enough all by themselves. They don't need any help from the refs to look awful. They already are. Refs are making it absolutely unwinnable. That's at least two BS calls in the last two possessions.
  3. I told ya. It's Groundhog day. Seen this movie way too many times.
  4. MOre groundhog day. NE scores, Bills penalized half the distance to the goal . Three and out and NE scores again. Anyone care to make a wager?
  5. This is like the movie Groundhogs day. It just keeps repeating over and over and over again. Same ending every time.
  6. Same old Bills. Gonna be a very long day.
  7. Not surprising. People are tired of bad officiating, bad behavior by players, just plain bad football and now the anthem thing. I don't watch any games except the Bills anymore and I'm sure I'm not alone. Ratings for regional telecasts are about the same. It's the national games that are way down.
  8. Not sure about that. Gillislee may be as good, but doesn't have the track record. Williams is unproven and has fumbleitis. Just looking to add some depth and I believe he is worth taking a flyer on. I agree with the others that we need WR"s, but we didn't run the ball very well yesterday either.
  9. Didn't say anything about not needing receivers, but Gillislee doesn't exactly inspire me as a solid replacement for Shady. I agree with you. We should add a veteran WR or two with both Watson and Woods out. There are a few quality veteran WR's out there still in FA as well.
  10. With Shady banged up, should the Bills bring back Bell for some depth at RB? I'm thinking yes. He has been productive in the past and no telling when Shady will be fully healthy.
  11. I love your optimism, but I see absolutely no reason to believe the Bills will win this Sunday. After that performance yesterday you have got to be kidding me. This team has loads of talent, but yesterday, I put the loss almost solely on the coaching staff. McCoy had no business playing and having him in the game caused the O to stall badly. Without the shiftiness and burst that is his trademark, he was a liability. Coaches should not have allowed him to play. Also, I know we must have at least one WR who can get open and catch the football. Should have game planned the run game around Gillislee and picked a WR to target. They did neither. Neither did they adjust to stop the run after Ajayi gashed them in the first half. He continued to do so the rest of the game. Should have loaded the box and made Tannehil beat them with his arm. All of this falls squarely on coaching and last time I checked it will be the same coaching staff preparing the game plan and coaching the team during this Sunday's game against NE. I see consecutive losses against NE and SEA and us looking at a 4-5 record and missing the playoffs again. Yesterday was a huge opportunity to set the stage for a playoff run and the whole team failed miserably. Same old Bills.
  12. They let one guy beat them. These are the kinds of games the Bills have been losing for years. Important games on the schedule that make the difference between being a playoff team and not being one. I can't remember the last time we won a game that we actually needed to win. Same old Bills. Failed to show up for a division game that could have given them a leg up on making the playoffs. Meant nothing to them. These types of games are why we never make the playoffs.
  13. Disagree. Dareus would have made a huge difference in the run D and that is what cost us the game. Not silly at all. Certainly the players that did play have to be held accountable, but to say it would not have made a difference is just not logical. I don't know of anyone who doesn't believe that Dareus would have made a difference and we probably would have won with him in the lineup.
  14. I tend to agree with what you wrote, but after watching Seattle last night, I'm not so sure about that one. I also disagree that Shady IS the offense. I agree that without a running game, we will have a hard time winning, but I believe most of the problem yesterday on offense was that Shady did start when he should have been on the bench. I believe that Gillislee is an adequate backup, but he didn't get the touches early and that hurt us. I am not a TT fanboy and I believe he has obvious flaws, but I think he is a good complimentary piece in this offense. Yesterday, they had no idea who to throw to it seemed. With Woods likely out, it seemed to me that they should have picked a receiver and game planned around him, but they didn't and it showed. Although 4-5 is a distinct possibility, I still have hope for 5-4 after the next two. I won't attack you personally and I mostly agree, with the exceptions that I mentioned.
  15. He doesn't call the plays and he wasn't alone out there. When the offense goes 3 and out, usually a lot of things are not going well all at once. Can't pin it all on the QB.
  16. Piss poor game plan. They knew McCoy was hurt. And they knew Woods was hurt. Didn't adjust the game plan at all. Defense completely failed. Piss poor performance all the way around. I see 4-5 right around the corner now.
  17. This team just does not know how to close anyone out. Up 17-6 in the second half and pissed it away. D really let them down today.
  18. Fish are definitely beatable. If Bills can continue to play solid D and the O performs like they did last week, this looks like a win. The caveat is that they still have to go to Miami and beat a team at home that is coming off a big win against a very good Steelers team. Should be a good one.
  19. I have seen this movie before. It sure looks like one of those games that we find a way to lose at the very end. Hoping I'm wrong on this one.
  20. Not happy with the D today. Was hoping Kaepeneck would get pounded. They have barely touched his and allowed him to escape that sack and make a big play. C'mon D punish his punk ass.
  21. This. I do like the blue helmet. We've never had one before and they look awesome. Don't know how it would look with the all blue unis though. Would like to see it simulated somewhere.
  22. I hope the D pummels his punk ass.
  23. I don't dislike Gillislee. I just think KW has more burst and is a more powerful runner as well. I've watched them both and I prefer Karlos Williiams over Gillislee. If you have a different opinion that's fine, but catching one pass and barely getting in is not going to change my mind.
  24. Just enjoy the wins. They have been few and far between the past few years. If you're looking for zero mistake, perfect football from any QB, then you will be waiting and looking a very long time. TT played well enough to give his team a chance to win and win they did.
  25. Gillislee has had four games this season to prove himself. How many long gains or TD's does he have? He doesn't have nearly the burst that Karlos has.
