Draft this guy. Seriously, what an arm. Lauleta
xsoldier54 replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only time I saw him play was in the Senior Bowl. I realize that is not enough exposure to make a good judgement. Might be worth a look as an UDFA if available. -

He looked awesome in the Senior Bowl. Better than some of the bigger name guys. -
Hate to say it...Tyrod will be back

I can't believe how much smarter you are than our entire coaching staff and front office. What was your job again? -

I agree with most of what you said except #4. I would consider either Bradford of Bridgewater an upgrade over TT. Bradford when healthy is in fact pretty good. The problem is he can't stay healthy and it would be hard to depend on him without a decent backup. -
Potential replacements for Eric Wood
xsoldier54 replied to The Now Moment's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't get it. Nobody is being disrespectful to Eric Wood. Knowing that he won't be here, it's natural for people to start wondering "What do we do now at center?" It's just speculation on where the team will go in his absence. Everyone here wishes him and his family well moving forward, but he will have to be replaced by someone. -
The MMQB: Dareus Says Marrone is a Changed Man
xsoldier54 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wouldn't put too much stock in anything Dareus says. He's a complete douchebag as is Maroon. -
I did a mock and it took me both firsts and one of our seconds to trade up to number 5. I took Lamar Jackson QB, Louisville.

Plenty of NFL experience as an OC and play caller. Knows the AFC East and particularly NE. Led the offense of the National Champions this year. WNY ties, U of R grad. Patriots will most likely lose both OC and DC and probably would have been interested in bringing back Daboll. Should I go on? Makes absolute perfect sense to hire this guy.

Look it up. He's been around the NFL for years. -
Denison and Tyrod should share the same fate

Dilly Dilly! You had to know that was coming, lol. -
I think we're in agreement. Both TT and Dennison need to go.

Jalen Ramsey's Game Clinching "Interception"
xsoldier54 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It wouldn't have mattered. Bills didn't deserve to win. 3 points ain't gonna beat anybody on any day. Peterman was not going to lead us to a game tying TD. TT sealed this one with his poor play throughout the day. You can pretty much watch him in the first half of any game and figure out if the Bills are going to win. This one was obvious. He just didn't have it yesterday or for most of the season for that matter. -
Taylor couldn't "fit" in any offense. He is too slow to react and too slow to read defenses. That's why all the check downs. Add to that the fact that he can't hit wide open receivers and you have Taylor summed up.

I did my first mock draft yesterday and it took both first rounders and a second rounder to trade up to number 5. I took Lamar Jackson from Louisville.

We'll see. I don't believe there would be nearly as much criticism of Dennison if he had even an average QB to work with. Hard to tell because Taylor was just so inept.

All coaches are constantly learning and trying to get better if they're any good at all. He managed to do what no other coach has done for this team in a very long time. And he did it on his first try. I'd say he's pretty good at what he does already. Can he get better? Of course, we all can.
-
LOl I don't even know where to begin. This is quite possibly the funniest post I have seen in a long time. Almost every coach in the NFL kicks the field goal in that situation. This coach that "plays like a loser" led this team to their first playoff appearance in over 20 years. I think he has a pretty good idea what he's doing.

Wildcard Weekend: Bills at Jax - 2nd Half Thread
xsoldier54 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We'll have to agree to disagree. Just one example of what I'm talking about. Bills lost by 7. TT missed a wide open O'Leary in the end zone. That's just one of many missed throws. Yes there were other players that made mistakes, but the QB has got to be able to get the ball to a receiver when he's wide open. TT has consistently proved that he can't do it over 2 seasons. -

Maybe not NE because they are just a better team, but I'd take our chances vs. Pittsburgh with either Smith or Cousins. -

I'll take either one of those guys. We win this game today with either of those guys at QB. -

Completely agree. That was a very winnable game. TT just wasn't up to the task. He played just like he has most of the time he's been the starter. Held the ball too long. Missed wide open WR's. Terrible performance. -

The Bills were good enough to beat Jacksonville. The QB was not up to the task. -

Saw this coming in the first half. Too many missed opportunities and TT playing way too tentative. Gotta play balls out in the playoffs, not like you're scared to make a mistake. This game is a microcosm of the TT era. -

I have seen this movie before. TT playing scared as usual. Not good enough for a playoff win on the road. Bills are the better team, but looks like they will lose again. TT can not be gone soon enough.
