  1. Good to see him succeed. I'll always be rooting for him - had a good friend in medical school almost kicked out over false sexual assault allegations (I was with him on the night in question). If the charges don't near ruin your life, the legal fees will.
  2. Well, I just finished writing about how I'd give Beane an "A" grade on the job he's done, but the Bass signing was baffling. Bass has never been an especially good kicker by any objective metric and now we're tied to him by virtue of an overpaid, un-cuttable contract. Unless you have Justin Tucker there's no reason to contractually tie yourself to a kicker for multiple years. At least if it's a multi-year deal, structure it so there's not so much dead money if they're cut
  3. In 20 years of following the Bills and Sabres, only one GM has built a team that's competitive. And for that reason Beane gets an A from me. Josh is a big part of it, but we've had excellent defenses as well. And a decent OL, which the Bills haven't had in ages.
  4. I read the allegations - "he gave me $100 bills and asked me to dance for them", "he tried to kiss me", "he brushed up against me too close". Not great, but nothing too crazy either.
  5. People worry about Xavier Worthy and it's possible he'll kill us, but heaps of speed players don't work out for whatever reason. Look at the list of the top 10 fastest 40 yard times by a WR at the combine ever excluding Xavier Worthy. John Ross Rondel Menendez Jerome Mathis Marquise Goodwin Henry Ruggs JJ Nelson Jacoby Ford Tyquan Thornton Yamon Figurs Darrius Heyward-Bey All the WRs on that list had mediocre to nonexistent careers.
  6. The more I read in terms of pre-draft scouting on Keon Coleman, the more I like the pick. He's not Kelvin Benjamin. Kelvin Benjamin had a 10th percentile vertical jump. Keon Coleman had a 90th percentile vertical jump. He's a good athlete. In terms of the concerns regarding separation, I have to trust professional NFL scouts more than people giving their impressions of highlight reels on the internet. He may not be the world's most polished route runner or separator, but even taking that into account most scouts had him ranked right about where we picked him.
  7. Bills fan in Utah here. Saw a few Utes games this year. Cole Bishop is a monster. Reminds me of Brian Dawkins as a hitter. Loves contact. Smart player with good instincts and a good athlete too.
  8. Bass was certainly a bottom tier kicker in the regular season last year, and then 2/5 in the playoffs. Not good enough. Because of his contract he gets another season to rebound, but if his 2024-25 season looks like his 2023-24 season did he's cut.
  9. Not happening. We need to hit on multiple players in the draft this year, not just one. And Beane has said as much. I think the Bills FO would very much prefer to take whatever WR is available at 28 and keep the picks, and I would too.
  10. This'll make it much tougher to win the first 10 games of the year. Week 11 on and the playoffs is usually when Diggs starts disappearing for the season though. Diggs has always been the opposite of a clutch player.
  11. This whole saga entertains me. Damar called AB a burnt out old head and AB responded saying he'd leave Damar to "sleep in a field" 🤣🤣🤣
  12. I watched a video and these just look like normal tackles to me
  13. Honestly kind of surprised Sherfield got a job anywhere. With how his career has gone, how last season went, and how the playoffs went I kind of figured he played himself out of the league. Disappointed in his performance, don't hate the man, I just can't see a GM putting him on the 53.
  14. The bloodbath hoax today redpilled a bunch of people on just how deceitful our media is. Stephen A Smith isn't close to a Republican but even he's beginning to see. This is a good thing.
  15. I've read a couple of your posts here and you seem to lack a connection to objective reality.
  16. Less government, lower taxes, more indicidual freedom
  17. Good player at a position we need. But we're broke. No use thinking about Mike Evans any more because zero chance we can make it happen
  18. Bummer. RIP. Shame on those promoting a political agenda coming out of this.
  19. As long as we have Josh we have a chance. However the horrible contracts for Von Miller, Dawson Knox, Tyler Bass, Tre White (unfortunately now a bad contract post injury, hope he heals well) and Stefon Diggs will make 2024-25 a very difficult season. We need to hit on our draft picks.
  20. Bass is going nowhere despite his poor 2023-24 season thanks to his unfortunate contract.
  21. We won't be too active in the low end FA WR market this year, especially after the not great signing of Sherfield. We're stuck with Diggs for contract reasons. I expect us to draft two WR before round 5 and ideally both can help next year
  22. I'd be alright with taking 2 WR with our first 3 or 4 picks and being defense heavy otherwise. WR, S, DL are my biggest areas of need
  23. WR, safety, DL are the positions we need to improve at most We also need a decent kicker but because of his contract Bass probably unfortunately gets one more year.
  24. Fans should donate directly to Bass instead, asking him to retire and take his contract off our books so we can sign a non-scrub kicker
  25. Nothing against Gabe Davis as a person but he just doesn't get open. At all. He fools no one with his route running and gives Josh nowhere to go with the ball from the WR2 spot because he's never open. Drops are an issue too, although I guess drops are a problem with all our pass catchers.
