So the draft is a crap shoot and you roll snake eyes once in a while....who could have known I always think of Big Mike Williams when I think of drafting OT's -
Trade up or trade back in this year’s draft?
JMF2006 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am a stay where they are guy. I say use all the draft picks to procure players. With the lower cap they need to get at least 4 serviceable players. I have a lot of confidence that Beane and crew can do that based on past performance. -
God Bless you Kenny my prayers are with you. I hope you make a speedy recovery

My prediction for this next year

He played mostly RT his first year and LG in his second. He was getting beat on the edge more than a rented mule His draft projection was to convert to G in the NFL. -

Don't count Davis Webb out of the mix. He has a very similar skill set to Josh and their physical stature is almost the same. -
Gunner's 2021 FINAL Mock Draft on PAGE 21

The Bills will NOT be drafting a QB in rounds 1 ,2 ,3 or 4 they have way too many needs with a cap crunch. I don't even think they go there with rounds 5 ,6 or 7. Maybe an UDFA if they chose not to re-sign Matty B to get 4 for camp. The Bills have saddled up their horse at QB and it's Josh He has proven to be a tough and resilient competitor and short of a broken limb(God Forbidding) he is going to suit up as he did last year through 2 injuries. -

You may think it's not predetermined....but it is. Beane used the same language and almost the same words last year about Lawson and Phillips. He will not be paying market value for Milano and our young yacht shopper will not be anchoring in the Buffalo Marina. -
Where I think the sellers(Detroit) won that trade I think the buyers won this one. The only way Philly gets a first is if Wentz is moderately successful because he won't be playing those snaps if he isn't. Only giving up a 3rd this year and a late 2nd or a 1st next year for a starting QB is a steal. Carson has to feel better mentally already but I would be getting a good sports psychologist on the horn to arrange a few sessions. If Indy's line gives him the protection Phil the Thrill got he should have a very good year.

Well I waited 27 pages to post so I better make a good one Milano was a round 5 pick who developed into a good but not great linebacker Out of 64 games he has played 54 missing 10 to injury not bad for an undersized LB (6'0" 225lbs) He has 7 TO's 5ints and 2 FF and 155 solo tackles with 89 assisted so 3 per game or 5 with help. This guy is getting overpaid by some team and I hope its not the Bills. He is very replaceable and Beane knows that IMHO Happy Trails Matt where ever you land. -
Re-sign or “wave goodbye” series: Player 7 - Matt Barkley
JMF2006 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The thing is who do you get cheap that will work with Josh...not against him? There needs to be chemistry and continuity....I like old quotes...." if it ain't broke don't fix it" The Bills are screwed if Josh goes down. -

So with no competition for his services Vet minimum should be an option -

Well he knows his role and there is an old saying....."those that can't do.......teach" I don't think the Bills would be keep him around if he wasn't good at breaking down film and the Bills have 3 young QB's to groom . With no cap room and being a good locker room guy don't be too surprised to see him back. -
Bucky Brooks top 5 by position draft prospects
JMF2006 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They had this running on the NFLN ticker earlier today and they had the 2020 QB's but everyone else was 2021 I think its between a CB a DE or G at pick 30. -

Not to hard to follow all that when they have 10 or 11 guys on a team I remember trying to play in a church league when I was 10/11 yrs old. I always got caught for double dribbling or travelling I was better at hockey so I just played horse in the park court -
Did you play football, at any level?
JMF2006 replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HS Jr at Safety and BU WR/ST 1972/73 It interfered with my hockey so I didn't play again until 1984 when I move to Winterpeg with my job. I played flag football in a church league out there that had full contact on the line I played LT/RT and DT/DE I only came off the field when we kicked. Every week guys were getting broken bones. I was lucky and never got injured but I did have to pay a lot of fines for language as there was no swearing allowed I played in a local flag league in Niagara Falls in 90/91 but retired from football for hockey in the beer league Yes chesterfield rugby is the game
