The guy is a good player not great. He hasn't shown anything but flashes. If he doesn't show much this year he may just be allowed to walk. The harsh reality is this regime isn't tied to him and extending the 5th year would only be prolonging the pain.

Then they should be tough resilient and play whistle to whistle. They usually take on the IDENTITY of the coach though. Which makes way more sense because he creates the game plan.

This man/coach comes highly recommended by lots of NFL coaches, assistants and executives...thats good enough for me. Everyone wants this magical culture change but the minute it starts its hey wait a minute thats not how we do business here. I said when they hired him that McD was going to fix this place,well hang on its happening.

I would say thats ideal if he is good at grading QB's. With 2 firsts in 2018 taking one early is likely.
