  1. Great, so we have to wait another 3 years for real change.
  2. If Pegula was going to clean house, nothing that has happened so far to show us otherwise. Whaley seemed clueless up there, denying involvement in anything. He looked nervous, frazzled. I could see everyone getting fired. And If I were going to do that and I were Pegula, I'd probably handle it the same way.
  3. also if you listen to GR, they bring up the point that he has the second most time to throw the ball in the entire NFL! And he gets sacked second most! How does that make sense? He cant see the field and doesn't have the range to throw, and hence holds onto the ball.
  4. Wentz is a rookie for God's sake. He's played what 10 games? Its not about the numbers, which aren't that different, its about ability. Tyrod just cant do the things bigger guys with bigger arms can do. Its impossible. Just watch him play, its night and day.
  5. Not drafting a QB, ex the Manuel disaster, over the past decade has come back to bite this team in the A$$. The only question to me is, does your QB give you a chance to beat winning teams, win playoff games and win a Superbowl. So far, there is no evidence Tyrod can do that. So we pay him $27 mil? That's ludicrous. But they will end up doing it, because they will blame the injuries on receivers for his lost production. There really is no other option, I get it. But I would rather draft 2 QBs next year and go with the better one. There are several rookie QBs starting right now, and they all have better stats than Tyrod. In yards per attempt, which many argue is the most important stat for a QB, he's near the bottom of the league. I don't dislike the guy. I just wish he were better, bigger and could see down the field and fire the ball to open guys. We'll see Sunday if they can beat a winning team. My guess is no.
  6. Untrue. I'm not crying. That would imply I actually cared. It just doesnt bother me anymore that they lose. I've faced reality and its pretty liberating. if they ever get serious again, maybe I will too. But until then, why should i care much about a half ass effort. Heck, I'm not sure they even care if they win, so why should we? I'm not a Pats fan. But "Come on mannnnnnn." Just take a peak at their record vs the Pats the last, oh I dont know....Decade??? Only one team has done the smashing my friend. If they beat the Pats I'll gladly buy you a beer.
  7. Love Football, and want nothing more than for the Bills to be a great franchise. But I'm not going to kid myself. The path to success starts with being realistic.
  8. Winning a few extra games each year does nothing but hold them back from making real and lasting change. It creates nothing but false hope. It makes the organization try to rationalize poor performance, by thinking "hey we're not that bad," or "we just need a few more pieces and we'll be there." Rubbish. That's a loser mentality, rationalizing poor results. And it will never be broken until they face the facts. If you cant see that I feel bad for you.
  9. I've been watching this team for 30 years. And I honestly say it no longer bothers me when they lose. In fact, I root for them to lose, to hit rock bottom and either be sold or taken over by a new owner. The league has passed this franchise by. Sure we have a few talented guys, you cant help not having a few given the high draft picks each and every year. But this organization is a joke. Its no different from any bad company, run by bad management. They rarely improve. Why do some teams have 3,4,5,6 SuperBowl trophies and others have none? Simple, the ownership, culture, management, people. And the Bills have only regressed while other teams have improved. I'm not sure any of the front office, coaching or scouting staff would even have a job were it not for the Bills. Its so so so much more than just this guy or that guy, or this player or that player. its everything. They've lost the game before its begun, they just don't know it. They show no ability to evaluate talent in any level of the organization. This is a people business and that is where they have absolutely no competence, evaluating personnel, whether it be players, coaches, front office, you name it. Does anyone seriously think that Ralph Wilson can compete with an owner like Bob Kraft? Its not even fair. I'm not sure you could do a worse job on purpose. The first step to improving is identifying a problem; telling yourself the truth. And they haven't done that. Heck aren't even aware of it. And after 30 years I'm just tired. Tired of them not getting it, not knowing how far behind they are, how backwards the organization is. They are so so so far away from any of the elite teams its not even funny. I'm not sure why they are even allowed to have a franchise. If you cannot get better, step aside and let someone else have a shot. Sell the team Ralph, end this 50 year run of mediocrity (ex the 5-6 good years you had by lucking your way into Polian). I'm done.
  10. Whats the one thing the Bills haven't been able to do in decades? Cover the tight end! New England's entire offense is built around the tight end. Kuechley or Barron would help tremendously. I like Luke!
  11. HOW WAS LEADING SACKER AND TFL OF THE BEST DIVISION IN FOOTBALL NOT DRAFTED?
  12. Can someone please tell me why the Bills would not JUMP at the opportunity to take Jimmy Claussen? Any of you guys out there bashing him. Have you even looked at his stats? ND plays big time competiton. The guys numbers are off the charts. YEAR CMP ATT YDS CMP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT 2007 138 245 1254 56.3 5.12 44 7 6 35 103.85 2008 268 440 3172 60.9 7.21 69 25 17 21 132.49 2009 289 425 3722 68.0 8.76 88 28 4 24 161.43
  13. I am 1000000000% of the belief that you build your teams from the lines out, and with a QB. It doesnt take a genius to figure that out. Without sound line play, you have NO chance of winning consistently. I mean how much evidence do you need in just looking at winning teams over the decades. With that said....Look the bills defensive front was pathetic last year. I like the FA moves. Seem like solid acquisitions without paying big $ for big names on guys over the hill. But we havent drafted a dominant defensive lineman since when? Bruce Smith? Pat Williams is the last name that comes to mind, and he was undrafted. With the exception of Maybin, last year's draft looks pretty darn solid. But you cannot screw up in round 1. Its inexcusable. Instead of drafting the obvious choice the Bills always try to outsmart themselves. Or take a flier. That is just unbelievably dumb. And wreaks of poor leadership and intelligence. I'm not going to list the blunders, because I could go on forever. But imaging how much better we would all feel if they Bills had just taken Bryant Mckinney instead of Mike Williams. Haloti Gnata instead of Whitner. Or Brian Orakpo or Michael Oher instead of Maybin. I mean its not that hard. These guys were rated higher and more productive in college. Yet the Bills take unwarranted risks drafting players that have tremendous risk. I could go on forever. But to answer your question, Spiller is not a terrible pick, as much as I hate seeing them draft ass backwards. I think the guy is gonna be a star. And those players are just too rare. BUT! I would only do it, if the top 3 OTs and top 2 QBs are gone. THEN you have to go all LINES for the rest of the draft. And you cant take a QB either. Wait for next year. out!
  14. I'd take that. 6 of first 7 picks as linemen? it would be a miracle.
  15. Honestly this kid is ridiculously good. Watch tape of him on youtube, you'll see. But its only a good move if we can get something for Marshawn. 3rd round pick? Then I take Spiller. Sure. But then you have to go line, line after that. Lets not forget, this is gonna be a minimum 2 year process here. So spending 1 pick on a guy that could be a superstar? Its actually not that bad. And I am 100% for building from the inside out.
