  1. Living in the Philadelphia area I am afforded the luxury of watching a team that is committed to winning. The Bills haven't been that way in for years and years. For example, Eagles lose two of their starting LB's at the start of the season...because they realized not doing anything would jeopardize their chances at winning a SB they signed Trotter of the street and made a trade for Will Witherspoon who has been an absolute beast since signing. What did the bills do when the OL starting cracking with Injuries??? Or lost Poz and Mitchell to injury??? Chris Draft and Jamon Meredith don't count...the answer is nothing. The Bills are not committed to winning and need to start from scratch again next year...I'm disgusted.
  2. Out of what? The ultimate goal is to win a Super Bowl. What have the bills shown in half a season to make you billieve that they can compete with the best of the best? The NE game was light years ago and ended in typical Bills fashion. The football season is too short and we look forward to it for too long for this to be the final product they give their fans. It's a joke and we deserve better.
  3. Every Coach in the NFL drafts and picks up "his-type of players" Jauron is no different. Problem is, Tricky Dick is a lifeless corpse and for the most part the Bills follow suit. T.Edwards and K.Ellison are two glowing examples. Fire Jauron and bring in Marty Schotenhiemer.
  4. There isn't a word to describe how awful our offense is. Fugly comes close. This team will not contend for anything until they overhaul the coaching staff, solidify the OL and get a real QB. The Defense has some faults (run D) but the offense gives them no help whatsoever.
  5. There is no way the Bills LB corp is fine. They need another starting OLB - leave Palmer, Harris, Ellison, Buggs etc for depth. Also, Schobel ain't getting any younger and Maybin hasn't proven to be the heir apparent (yet). I think Secondary, RB, WR, TE are set but we need help on OL, DL and LB not too mention the most important player on the field QB. They play hard, but they still lack the talent in key areas.
  6. Let Trent sit out until after the bye week to just watch. Hopefully he'll be able to see for himself the throws he's been missing. BTW, watched that USFL: Small Potatoes movie on ESPN the other day...it was both great and sad to watch Kelly throw the ball all over the field. He was soooo good...We need a QB with some balls and a gunslinger mentality a la Jimbo before we'll be able to seriously contend again. In the mean time they should concentrate on boosting up the D over the offseason and become a Defensive team that runs the ball well (Freddy and Marshawn are a great 1 - 2 punch) and let trent or fitz "manage" the game a la Orton until we're able to draft that stud QB to take us to the promise land.
  7. Well now I really want my money back. day late...29.99 short.
  8. Live in Philadelphia, watched the eagles (I'd take any one of their QB's over Edwards) and listened to the bills through NFL.com (I want my $29.99 back) as well. Usually Murph and Kelso try to spin everything positively...even they were disgusted. Wilson has to fire Jauron, they need to rip the team apart and start from scratch.
  9. -15 yards on 1 return, and the fumble that ultimately cost the Bills the game. This season was over after they snatched defeat from the jaws of Victory week 1 vs. NE....now it's just embarrassing. The whole NFL is laughing at the Bills. I wish I could...
  10. This is my first post on TBD -- I'm soooo excited. To the point --> I've been a Bills (born in Rocha-cha, NY) fan since I was 9 years old (1988) who currently resides in Philadelphia. The thing about the Saints v. Eagles game was even though the score was lopsided because of turnovers the Eagles BACK-UP QB in his 1st career start passed for almost 400 yards. On the other hand, the Bills offense looked horrible the whole game and Trent has never even thrown for 300 yds and deserves the "captain checkdown" label. I get so excited before every Bills season and always have hope. Even though they tore my heart out week 1, I was ready to billieve that this was going to be their year. After this week, I'm ready to give up on the season -- if they don't win the next two games vs. Miami and Cleveland I'm done watching for the year and fully believe that they will need to clean house starting with "Tricky" Dick Jauron right down to Captain Checkdown.
