Looks like the end of the Trent's career in Buffalo!

It would be a very sad day.Don't think I could root for any other team for long, long time. I would still watch games and probably get more into fantasy football.

Besides the draft class of the most recent draft and Wood, Byrd, Moorman, possibly Levitre/McGee/McKelvin, I think anyone is expendable. I'd like to add Kyle Williams but he doesn't fit the mold for the new D scheme. The Bills have clearly hit rock bottom (but I am afraid to admit they can still sink some more) and have to/are rebuilding. I think Nix and gailey both know this and are just trying to put out the most competitive team they can with the players and talent they have. With a possible lockout looming, unfortunately it's not good business for the Bills to go out and spend tons of money on proven talent via free agency (which they didn't do this past offseason-as we all know). I think they are trying to evaluate and develop whatever talent they have on the roster. Going into this season I thought Edwards was realistically the only possible franchise QB the Bills had. Gailey and Nix needed to know if Trent could turn it around this year and do better. now that we know he can't be a franchise QB, it's time to move on. As much as we'd all like a proven veteran coming in here to salvage anything, it's highly unlikely. The bills should now start Fitz to try to spark the Offense and make the Bills competitive. Trades will help Stockpile draft picks for next year which will hopefully be used to fill needs. This process is crucial to rebuilding. I don't know why that was not accomplished this past draft, of course unless this is all part of the plan. The Bills don't have many pieces to build a solid team around and this with this past draft it is too early to tell. So in my opinion, almost everyone is expendable.

Why everybody trashing this guys post? It's more Bills/Buffalo/NFL relevant then the Yankees posts we will start to see in a couple of weeks. Go Bills!

Ellison is a poor man's London Fletcher. He seems to involved in most of the running plays when he is out there. Alright, sometimes it may be after a 5 or more yard gain, but he makes the tackle. On a side note, I was at the Bills vs. Lions Preseason game this year, sitting in end zone at tunnel side and was able to talk to players at the half and end of the game. Ellison was one of the few Bills who went out of their way to shake my hand and talk to me (along with Spiller, Youboty and Scott). It was one my alltime personal Bills highlights. Anyway, I wish more athletes were like this and I can't say anything bad about these 4 guys.

I think the Bills will finish 4-12 and the "so called experts" will rank the Bills in the Bottom 5, most likely 29 or 30th

It's amazing how fast these things happen. Did we not just hear a day or 2 ago that Mitchell is unlikely for game 1? I know Gailey wasn't commenting on long term prognosis, but did anyone see this coming?

After what all the Qbs on the roster have shown this preseason, I would have to agree with the order. I may wish there were better options but Trent showed the most (maybe b/c he was with the starters, followed by Fitz then Brohm

While I personally like the throwbacks and think they are the best the Bills have ever worn, and the currently worn unis blow major chunks (ie they suck), it's time Ralph and Co. designed some new ones. Maybe a combo of the throwback colors with the a redesigned charging Buffalo logo? Why not come up with a few different designs and have the fans vote on which one they like best, they do it for team nicknames. Besides, they might even make some more $$$ because the fans would go out and buy the new merchandise.

Agree, Originally I thought and wanted Brohm over Fitz, but after yesterday, it looks like Fitz deserves the spot. I suspect that Brown gets the third spot and becomes the project QB.

I do! The Bills have a lot of questions at many positions and I think it's interesting how it is all playing out, I thought more people would too.

I have read in multiple media reports that the fan attitude is lame at training camp?! Is this true? Is it the hot weather? Are you not pumped for this season? I don't expect a great season as far as wins and losses go but I do expect to see a different team attitude and that in of itself has me all tingly down there. Anyone at the practices care to comment.

Agree, new stadium would be a great catalyst in developing the waterfront, but for so many reasons (mostly cost) do not see it happening.

I think starting camp order will be: Edwards Fitz Brohm Brown By start of camp: Edwards Brohm Brown I think Fitz gets cut in this scenario.
